The hero, Lorn was a total twit...............he goes somewhere else to get off with other woman because he can't do it with the heroine, Kira. Kira moons around him...throws herself at him, keeps getting rejected...please girl........get a life and get rid of this twit!!!!
None of the characters made an impression on me!!!!
The plot was just too silly at times!!! All the repetition...over and over and over again...just got on my nerves.....how I actually finished reading this book is a huge surprise to me!!!!
I don't think I will continue with this series. Just going to wait for some new books from The New Species Series....more

Sadly, it missed the mark for me! It was totally horrible...but just not that amazing either!!!
I liked the storyline set in the world of Lycans, Vampires and Gargoyles and there were some intereresting characters introduced. But somehow I just couldn't connect with the main characters, VampLycan Drantos and Dusti, who he discovers is his lifemate. And some secondary characters were a bit OTT..... It's fun, sexy, sweet, light but not without depth ...a bit of angst and conflict but nothing heavy and dark, which was a total pleasure.
From the first page...............started with a smile on my face and soon moved on to laughing my head off ......
The 2 main characters, Soraya Venedetta & Graham Morgan were a total delight....engaging and beyond endearing. Soraya Venedetta (I loved the one scene where Graham's ex bitch girlfriend says...Vendetta?????)....I adored this woman. She just had the right "moves".
“My life was far from Sex and the City. It was more like Sex and the Pity. Or Sex and the Shitty.” “My boyfriend had been fucked over by Barbie and Ken. And I was more like the Bratz doll rebound.”
She's one of a kind...colours the tips of her hair to suit her moods!!!! She's fun, unique and totally fabulous......another unforgettable scene where she overhears the said ex girlfriend's friends gossiping in the ladies about Graham......does Soraya disappear into the shadows??? Not on your life...
A few minutes later, I’d been so preoccupied thinking about what those women were saying that I hadn’t noticed Graham sneak up behind me to plant a kiss on my neck. The gossipers had taken notice, though. Their eyes were practically bugging out of their heads. Their little happily-ever-after fantasy was quickly challenged by Graham’s public display of affection with someone they probably assumed was working the party. I couldn’t help myself when I turned to them and smiled. “Plot twist.”
I just loved watching these two come together....
And Graham Morgan........hell, I loved this guy!!!! What was there not to love????
The interaction and dialogue between the two is out of this world..........
“Give a little, Soraya. It’s a ride home, not a ride on my cock. And I think you know by now that I’m not a serial killer.” - Graham
Oh, another great thing about the story is when Graham writes to the agony column that Soraya works on........
Dear Ida, This is the former Celibate in Manhattan. You might also remember me as Stuck-up Suit. I thought it would be polite to provide you with an update to my situation, seeing as though you've been so helpful thus far. The good news: I'm happy to say that I'm no longer celibate."-Graham
....some of the messages were incredibly funny.......one of the letters that Soraya received from one of the readers had me rolling on the floor...
“Dear Ida, My boyfriend recently asked me to marry him. I said yes. He’s the sweetest, kindest man I’ve ever known. Problem is, the diamond he gave me was smaller than I hoped for. I don’t really want to hurt his feelings. I need to know a polite way to express my disappointment. –Lori, Manhattan God has the same dilemma when it comes to you, sweetheart. P.S. When your fiancé dumps your selfish ass, give him my number. Answering”
So, if I loved this book so much, why only the 4stars?
Well, up to about 70%, I absolutely loved it....laughed my head off...but the last 30% fell a bit flat....the whole issue of Graham and his ex bitch girlfriend, Genevieve became a bit too cliche and repetitive.
However, I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance...and lots of laughs!!!...more

There is quite a few things that happen in this story but the main mystery that Brunetti and Vianello investigate relates to a body of a young girl found in one of the city's canals. This leads them into the local gypsy communities and how children are used to rob the homes of the local rich Venetian community.
Corruption continues to erode Brunetti's beloved city. Bribes are an accepted part of Venetian life.
In recent years, Brunetti had begun to see the death of the young as the theft of years, decades, generations. Each time he learned of the willed, unnecessary destruction of a young person, whether it was the result of crime or of one of the many futile wars that snuffed out their lives, he counted out the years until they would have been seventy and added up the plundered years of life. His own government had stolen centuries; other governments had stolen millennia, had stamped out the joy these kids might and should have had. Even if life had brought them misery or pain, it would still have brought them life, not the void that Brunetti saw looming after death.
We continue following Brunetti's life with his family and his work colleagues, which is a total pleasure.
The last couple of books in this series have been somewhat lackluster and I am happy to say that this is a much better one....more
Blood From a Stone, Donna Leon’s 14th Guido Brunetti mystery novel deals with the problems Italy is facing with illegal immigrants. Commissario BrunettBlood From a Stone, Donna Leon’s 14th Guido Brunetti mystery novel deals with the problems Italy is facing with illegal immigrants. Commissario Brunetti investigates the murder of an illegal African street vendor.
The story is set at Xmas time in Venice so we get a look into the local festivities and the local life during this period.
Once again, Brunetti is thrown into the middle of politics and corruption and intrigue. Despite the obstacles he faces in trying to solve this case, he does not give up that easily. He uses his contacts to finding the answers to the murder that no one seems to want solved.
As always, we get to see Brunetti and his family and their interaction is once again, fantastic. We also see old characters we have come to know really well and some new characters are introduced that play a part in this case.

I was anxious to find out what would happen toFull Tilt was one of the very best books I’ve read this year. It’s an unforgettable and touching read. I was anxious to find out what would happen to Kacey Dawson.
All In is an intense, powerful and beautiful conclusion to the Full Tilt Duet by Emma Scott. A compelling, touching, moving, unforgettable and inspiring story of love, loss, hope, heartbreak, family, friendship - a story that makes your heart and soul hurt and makes you cry with sadness
but also inspires you to believe in the power of love......
How does one cope after losing someone you loved so much? Having lost my husband, someone I had loved so much last year, I could identify with Kacey's loss. The pain, the heartbreak........so hard to bear. Days just pass by without you knowing. You miss their voice, their touch, their love!!! You don't want to get out of bed in the morning. You want to scream ...you want oblivion!!! You want that person back so desperately....
All In is more than just Kacey and Theo discovering their feelings for each other ...
.....it's being there when you need them.....
.....It's about survival, accepting loss, embracing new love.
I loved Jonah and loved that he had a part in this story....memories of the man and his art, his love..... but Theo........I loved him just as much as Jonah. He was the most incredible man.....underneath, beat a heart of pure gold. He put the people he loved before himself. KInd, compassionate, protective, loyal, giving, thoughtful!! A beautiful soul.
I so wanted Kacey & Theo to be together. I felt that they had this incredible deep connection, this amazing capacity to love and heal each other. And it was a joy to see the two finding happiness and love together.
The secondary characters play a big part in this story. Their development was amazing....you really get to know them.
Emma Scott's writing is a thing of beauty. Flows skilfully and effortlessly from page to page. It emotionally pulls you in from the start until the very end.
‘There is beauty everywhere, even in the things that scare you the most…’
An unforgettable, haunting, uplifting story of life, beauty and never-ending love.
If there are books that you should read this year....it's Full Tilt & All In. Don't miss out!
I loved this quote - it has stayed with me since I first read it...and it's going to be with me for a very very long time...

Finally, we get to all the answers in Twisted Palace, the 3rd book in Erin Watt's The Royals Trilogy. After not one but two cliff-hangers that ended in Broken Prince, I wondered how much more drama and more twists and secrets and revelations would there be!!!
This book was my least favourite of the three novels. In fact, I totally did not like Twisted Palace. Even the characters I liked before, I started to feel so disappointed in them.
Let me jot down a couple of things that made me so not love the Royals and their stories:
The drama just continues and continues...........everything just felt forced and totally not believable!!! Reed Royal...........
He just drove me crazy with all his yes, no, maybe I should.........make up your mind!!! And Ella.......
what the hell happened to the sassy, take no shit girl............why she took her now alive and appearing father's crap was beyond me!!!!
The teenagers portrayed in this series are beyond awful and horrid. Spoilt, rich, entitled, cruel, envious, egotistical, empty.............
In fact, there were more characters I disliked in this series than I liked.......
The ending, where the baddie/s are revealed was just too unbelievable for words.........
By the last page, my feelings about the Royals and their world, were something like this...
Now, I haven't given up totally on this series!!! I liked the first two books and I would be interested in reading some of the other Royal brothers stories!!!! Yeah, sucker for punishment!!!...more

Royals are back with a vengeance!!!
Reed Royal had done it!!! It's not looking too good for him when it comes to hoping that Ella Harper will ever give him another chance!!! Will he be able to redeem himself after all the lies and deception?
Drama, more drama, secrets, lies, betrayals, angst - it just continues with the Royals. It never lets up.
I love how Ella is coming into her own. She's strong and shows backbone when things are thrown at her. It's great to see the positive influence she's having on the Royal family.
I have to admit that my liking for Reed Royal keeps growing. Yes, he's made some bad choices in the past but he's trying to become a better person which I admire in him.
The cliffhanger...yes, there's yet another one here.......wow!!!! Never expected that one...okay, Brooke....twisted bitch that she was...still didn't think it would come to this...........
So, now ....waiting for the final book......where will all this drama go to next????...more
Paper Princess, the 1st book in The Royals Trilogy by Erin Watt is a fun and easy read.....
What I liked about this book:
The characters: Ella HarperPaper Princess, the 1st book in The Royals Trilogy by Erin Watt is a fun and easy read.....
What I liked about this book:
The characters: Ella Harper is a smart seventeen year-old who has had a pretty hard life so far. She's resourceful, head-strong, sassy and totally unapologetic about who she is. I loved that she wasn't a broken-down, feel sorry for myself person. Rather, she showed grit and courage and adored how she saw the positive things in her life rather than the negative.
The impact that she has on the Royal Family is unbelievable. She will change their lives forever.........
“You belong with us. You’re the best thing that ever happened to this family.” Surprise filters through me. Okay. Wow. “You’re ours,” Easton mumbles.
The Royal Family wow, this is beyond a dysfunctional family!!!! I engaged with the father, Callum Royal from the first moment he's introduced. He has this sadness inside him and a kindness and love for his lovely that is truly lovely to see.
The 5 Royal sons.........
These are more than broken siblings. There's a sense of loss, loneliness in them that made me like them more than what I did when they are first introduced. My initial feelings were one of ..."what a bunch of spoilt awful kids!!! But as we get to know more about their lives, we see a side to them that makes one almost feel sorry for them. How they dealt with their grief of losing their mother made them somehow more human and less of assholes!!!!
The storyline: In a nutshell..... a rags-to-riches tale where Cinderella is whisked off from a life of poverty and struggle to unimaginable riches and wealth.
How does one handle that kind of change?
“This will never by my home. I don’t belong in splendour. I belong in squalor. That’s what I know. It’s what I’m comfortable with, because squalor doesn’t lie to you. It’s not wrapped in a pretty package. It is what it is. This house is an illusion. It’s polished and pretty, but the dream Callum is trying to sell is as flimsy as paper. Nothing stays shiny forever in this world.”
Ella & Reed For most of the book, these two fought off the attraction they felt for each other. They have great chemistry.
These two have so much in common and I loved watching them getting to know each other and how they could help each other.
Overall, I liked this book and am looking forward to the next installment..........After the cliff-hanger........how could I not be?????...more

But ultimately, it leaves you with a warm glow in your heart. A feeling of having experience something magical and unique between people...

Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch Series is most of all about Harry Bosch. Since introduced in The Black Echo, the 1st book in the series, published in 1Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch Series is most of all about Harry Bosch. Since introduced in The Black Echo, the 1st book in the series, published in 1992, we have been part of his life. We have taken rides with this character, learnt more about him with each book and watched him solve mysteries seen the passion he has for justice.
His character has developed throughout the series and he has become like a friend. Harry Bosch is not too perfect - he has emotional scars just like most of us. A maverick, who will bend the rules to solve his cases, a passion of justice for the victims, hard-assed but with a softer side that loves Miles Davis and Sonny Rollins and Chet Baker and his daughter, Maddie. He also gets to live in the most fabulous house in LA...
The Wrong Side of Goodbye is the 21st book in the series and it does not disappoint.
Harry, having been forced to retire in the previous book, The Drop, is now a private investigator and working for free as a part-time reserve detective for the small city of San Fernando Police Dept. The storyline revolves around two cases. The one is a cold case of a serial rapist that he's working on finding the culprit for the SFPD. The other case that he's working on his private time deals with finding a missing heir of an old and reclusive billionaire.
Both cases are fantastically woven together as Harry uses all his skills in finding answers for both his cases.
Good pacing, nail-biting twists and turns and some unexpected revelations.
Loved seeing characters from previous books - Harry's half-brother, Mickey Haller, his daughter, Maddie and also some new characters that are introduced.
The author intertwines interesting insights into the history of Los Angeles and it's changing face of the past to present. You really get a sense of place - you are taken on a trip through the City of Angels and it's many nearby and far-flung neighbourhoods and through Harry's eyes, you see the angelic and less parts of this fascinating city.
A must read for Harry Bosch fans and non-fans too....more

Waitress Olivia Hammond from Manhattan is swept off her feet by a real prince and steals his heart for eternity....... It's the stuff that dreams are made of......... Nicholas Arthur Frederick Edward Pembrook, Crowned Prince of Wessco, is everything we want in a Prince...... devastatingly beautiful, charming, wicked, arrogant, deliciously hot and sexy..
‘I was known before I was born and my name will be blazoned in history long after I’m dust in the ground. Infamy is temporary, celebrity is fleeting, but royalty…royalty is forever.’
I fell in love with this Prince....
This story was totally addictive. I couldn't get enough of these endearing, intriguing and engaging characters.........there are a lot of secondary characters that I am looking forward to reading more about in the next book......which is going to be Nichola's brother, Prince Henry......
I liked that the love story takes place over a period of time and it wasn't the type of insta-love and let's ride off into the sunset kind of story. You get to see what goes on behind the scenes in the life of a Prince and his family and friends. The intrigue, politics and scheming in court life felt very real and believable.
And just as I have always known.............LOVE always wins in the end...
‘I smile and I know it’s radiant. Because that’s how I feel. Right now—in his arms. Lit from the inside, like a luminous shooting star that won’t ever dim’

I was totally blown away by Forget, the 1st book in N.A. Alcorn's Changing Colors Duet. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... I fell in love with the characters...Dylan Bissette & Brooke Sawyer and was pretty sad when she left Paris and went back home to LA. Would this be the end of these two together? Would Brooke throw something so special away......
I wanted more of these two together...and was beyond excited with the follow-up story come out!! Blur .........just as good as Forget!!
Dylan travels to LA to sign up a record deal and meets up with Brooke again, who he discovers will be the band's record producer.
This was a really special story. Friendship, loyalty, love,
- intense, emotional and with some humour thrown in.....
I'm driving through the hills of Laurel Canyon and birds are chirping like I'm in a goddamn Disney movie. Any minute, Cinderella is going to run in front of my car, and I swear on platinum albums, I'm not slowing down. Glass slipper and fairy godmother be damned, I'll run over the bitch.
Great sense of place...the LA music setting was pretty awesome!!!
Dylan Bissette is my all-time favourite rock star!!!!
His feelings for Brooke are deep, sincere and intense....
This is a man who knows what he wants and goes all out....to get it!!!
One of my fav quotes:
"I know what you taste like," he whispers against my cheek. "I know what you sound like when you come." He releases one of my hands, gripping my chin and forcing me to look at him. "Tell me, Brooke. How do I forget that?" His lips hover over mine, too close. "How. Do. I. Forget. That?"
The plot felt old and tired....deadly virus, terrorists on home ground......nothing new there!! Then the characters......okay, I love dogs and Grace is still my favourite Jack Russell.....but TMI on dog training and nothing on the characters. I was hoping for something to happen between Maggie & Ryder.......but no....
This missed the mark for me..........it was more like a snooze fest....couldn't wait for the last page...which by the way, ended abruptly....made no sense to me!!! Of course, it's a cliffhanger....so I guess we will get more of Ryder and his pooches!!!
Oh, I did try to keep my eyes open until the end...now, off to dreamland for me !!

Maybe it this had been a full length book, I might have got into it...but everything happens...like....one, two, three!!!!
I didn't hate it...but it was somewhat just okay.....so, let me go off and do something like this.........

Once again, we watch Brunetti using his connections to help solve the murders of one of his wife Paola's students and the owner of an extraordinary art collection. His ability to observe human behavior is another part of this character that I really like.
And as we have come to realize is that solving the murder does not always have the result as we perceive as true justice.
I so enjoy the interaction between the characters in this series. And of course the Venice setting.

This still remains one of my favourite crime/thriller series. From the 1st line..............I was hooked once again!!
A man lay still, as still as a piece of meat on a slab, as still as death itself.
Beastly Things, the 21st mystery in Donna Leon's Commisario Guido Brunetti Series starts with a body of a man stabbed to death is found floating in one of Venice's canal, whose identity is only revealed half-way through the story.
Brunetti and his side-kick, Vianello The dead man is identified as a gentle vet, whose part-time job at a slaughter house , was to certify that animals brought for slaughter were free from any disease that could be passed into the food-chain. The investigation leads them to a conspiracy of corruption and crime that is eroding the city of Venice.
“The city grew dirtier, hotels proliferated and rents increased, every available inch of sidewalk space was rented out to someone wanting to sell unusable junk from a portable stall, and still the waves of promises to sweep away all these ills rose up ever new and ever higher,” Brunetti laments
Again, the characters and the Venice setting are what makes this series so special.

After surviving the crash in his last race, Leandro has spent the last year trying to get back his life and career. It has not been an easy journey. Unable to come to terms with his situation, he's turn to drink and women....
Still suffering the after-effects of the trauma, he needs to deal with his fear of getting back into a car. At Andi Amaro's suggestion, he agrees to see a therapist, India Harris, to help him with his PTSD. India Harris, therapist, is nothing like what Leandro was expecting.............
My eyes trail up the toned, tanned legs, to the fitted pencil skirt that I would happily hitch up to see the magnificent pussy that I bet lies beneath. A pale pink blouse is tucked into that skirt, covering what look like a fantastically sized pair of tits. Silky blonde hair sits on her shoulders. Hair that I would enjoy getting my hands all tangled in, while I fuck those bright red lips of hers, enjoying seeing that lipstick smeared all over my cock.
What I liked about this story:
The development of India and Leandro's relationship. Despite the instant attraction when they first met, because of the nature of their initial meeting, they both take a while to taking it further from the professional and friendship level they have.
The switch between Leandro & India's POV. Engaging and endearing characters.....Leandro & India are so likeable....and I adored Kit (her brother) and Jett (her son. And of course, meeting up with Carrick & Andi again was an absolute TREAT!!!! The right amount of angst and drama - it never becomes dark and depressing. The exciting world of Formula 1.....
...and the fabulous settings.... Sao Paulo, Brazil // London, England // Banbury, England // Northampton, England // Budapest, Hungary // Stavelot, Belgium // Monza, Italy // Yas Island, Abu Dhabi //Monza, Italy.
Fabulous escape into an exciting and thrilling fantasy world, which the author makes totally believable and realistic enough.
An amazing epilogue..........holding my fingers crossed that we will get another story in this series.........Jett, perhaps????? Ooooh, yes please!!!

The story had everything I love in a love story.
An unforgettable hero - CARRICK RYAN (wow, is that not a so cool name!!!!) is a devastatingly gorgeous , talented and successful F1 driver. Known for his bad-boy image off the track and breaking women's hearts.
An out-of-the ordinary heroine -Andressa (Andi) Amaro (hell, I loved her name a lot!!!)Gorgeous, sexy, funny and talented. Daughter of an F1 driver, she had witness his death at the age of 10, when his car crashed and burned during a race. Now in her twenties, she has always wanted to work in the world of Formula One. Her dream has come true when she's hired as one of Carrick Ryan's mechanics.
Fabulous settings -The glamorous and sexy world of Formula One Racing......filled with sexy and dangerous drivers........exotic locations all over the world.......what could be better!!!
Chemistry between hero/heroine -When Carrick and Andi first meet - off the charts flying sparks!!!! Carrick has set his sights on Andi from the first moment he laid eyes on her..
Andi has one rule........she does not date racing drivers. But when she meets Carrick, she's unable to deny the attraction she feels for him. Fighting the strong feelings growing for him, she decides that friendship is the only way to go with Carrick.
HE LIVES A DANGEROUS LIFE............ these feelings.............I can't risk it."
She is not prepared to go through the loss and pain she and her mother experienced when her father died.
Carrick agrees at first - but he wants more. He's intense, determined and is prepared to do everything possible to get Andi to change her mind...
I enjoyed watching their relationship develop over a long period of time. Friends-to-lovers. From friendship to love and happiness.
What I also liked was that..yes, there was angst and issues both Carrick and Andi had but they were not dark and heavy.
Great dialogue/writing - Witty and so clever.
“The only type Carrick has is pretty with a vagina that’s open for business. But now, I’m starting to think that maybe now he has just one type—Andi Amaro.”
The banter and interaction between Andi & Carrick is off the wall................
“Well, fuck me. I was expecting someone-"-Carrick "With a penis and a deep voice? Sorry to disappoint.” -Andi
“Jesus, you're so bloody ... forward." - Carrick "You don't get anywhere in life by going backward.” -Andi
“Anyway, where were we?"-Carrick "I called you a Neanderthal, and you snorted whiskey up your nose."-Andi "Thanks for the thorough recap.” -Carrick
The story is fast-paced, filled with tension and intensity, sadness, fun, engaging main and secondary characters and some sexy and hot sex scenes.

And we finally discover the secret of Lydia's forgotten days in the Dead City....totally unexpected revelation. Romance, suspense, unforgettable characters, paranormal, sci-fi....and so much more. I adored Lydia and Emmett. They are engaging and so likeable. Enjoying seeing the development of their relationship. And the witty dialogue was another thing I really liked. Synopsis Welcome to Harmony--where the rules are a little different.
Life is tough these days for Lydia Smith, licensed para-archaeologist. Seriously stressed-out from a nasty incident in an alien tomb, she is obliged to work part-time in Shrimpton's House of Ancient Horrors, a very low-budget museum. She has a plan to get her career back on track, but it isn't going well. Stuff keeps happening.
Take the dead body that she discovered in one of the sarcophagus exhibits. Who needed that? Finding out that her new client, Emmett London, is one of the most dangerous men in the city isn't helping matters either. And that's just today's list of setbacks.
Suspense, science fiction, paranormal romance, vanishing alien settlements.........it has it all.
This has been one of my favourite series since I read the first book years ago.
Killer Look, the 18th novel featuring ADA heading the Sex Crim2,5 stars
This has been one of my favourite series since I read the first book years ago.
Killer Look, the 18th novel featuring ADA heading the Sex Crimes division of the DA’s office, Alexandra “Coop” Cooper, in Linda Fairstein's Alexandra Cooper Series was an uninspiring and disappointment for me.
Alex, traumatized by her kidnapping at the end of the previous book, Devil’s Bridge, she is struggling to deal with her ordeal - every noise makes her nervous, shut out by her co-workers and friends and using alcohol as a means of overcoming her fears.
This story is set in NYC 's fashion industry. The apparent suicide of a high-fashion couturier Wolf Savage soon begins to look more like murder. When Savage's daughter, Lily Savitsky, Alex's old high school swimming teammate contacts her about her father's death, Alex is reluctantly allowed to assist Mike Chapman with the investigation.
I found the plot interesting...all the shenanigans of fashion industry and the cutthroat world that those people live in......what I didn't enjoy was the way Mike Chapman dealt with Alex's problems. He was such a dolt most of the times that I wanted Alex to give his ass a huge kick!!!! There was hardly any romance between these two!!
I also became bored after a while with all those personal traumas that Alex had and how she dealt with them. I somehow expected her to be a bit less needy!!!
Hell, the way this book ended.............never expected that...but still did not make it more than a very average read....more

A quick read novella that introduces the reader to Jayne Castle's futuristic world of Harmony, a planet inhabited by descents of colonists from Earth, 200 years before when an energy field in space opened allowing travel between Earth and other planets. However, when the energy curtain closed down, humans were left stranded in Harmony and had to build a new society, which have given their descendants paranormal abilities.
Previous inhabitants of Harmony have left behind signs of their civilization. Abandoned cities, underground tunnels, catacombs composed of glowing green quart. So far, no one knows who built these cities, why and when they left the planet.
This story deals with Sam, a ghost hunter and Virginia, a tangler, who have created a business venture together and working on their first case.
We get a glimpse of the world that the author is building and this shows promise to becoming quite an interesting series....more

This was even more of a let-down!!!
Whilst I kind of liked the hero, Mathew Ryder, secret superspy/agent for the committee is your typical dark, sexy snarky guy......tracking down the bad guys, this time a gang of dangerous human traffickers - it was the heroine, Jenny Parker, pro bono lawyer, goody two shoes, who drove me absolutely insane!!!!
Listen up, this is a girl, whose family is into organized crime and she finds it hard to believe that her little brother could be a baddie!! Really!!! All that crying and moaning....bah bah bah.......... ... just got more and more on my nerves. She spent more time sulking and drooling over the hero......feeling sorry for herself!!! She just plain ANNYOED me to no end.
Again there's lot of action, suspense...and sex...........but no really believable connection between the hero and heroine. Romance.........what romance!!!! Was there any?????
