Did not like either the hero or heroine......I think I might be getting tired of the sheik stories.........(less)

Neither one has any personality and there is zero chemistry between the two….oh yes, he likes that she is the FIRST woman who he can talk with about important issues…family, business…….. The plot was not interesting and I never really became interested in what it was……all I read was all the internal “conflict” of the two which was so…yes…boring. And I was beyond irritated with Lesley (I hate that name)….when she tried out Alessio’s daughter’s dress on the sly and was caught by him….abso ridiculous!!!! I had to really push myself to finish this book!! Skimming page after page and doing this a lot of times
So you ask, why did I actually finished the last page? Well, I really hate not finishing a book, so I preserved…maybe I thought it might just get better….but NO…..IT DID NOT.
Not the best by this author. I have read much better ones written by her. (less)

...moreWow, a bad girl instead of bad boy!!!!!!!!! A Vegas lounge singer and you know those British aristo Love it!!
She sashayed over to him, deliberately trailing one of her fingertips along the whitened tendons on the back of one of his clenched fists. ‘Loosen up, James. You’re as wound as a tight spring. If you need an outlet for all that pressure- ’ she batted her impossibly long eyelashes at him, ‘-just call me, OK?’
Aiesha Adams, a former street kid – yes, a totally unsuitable wild child adopted by a wealthy family has always had a wild side to her and is now a lounge singer in Las Vegas. She’s strong and independent but hides her true feelings behind her brazen and brash attitude. imgsrc=” James Challender, son of the family who adopted Aiesha is determined to do the right thing in his life and never becoming like his philanderer father. He’s high class… …. What happens when they meet up again? Snowbound together? She is hiding away from the paparazzi and he is meeting his fiancé and now find themselves snowbound for who knows how long James is actually fabulous…see I don’t really like English heroes…I find them a bit bland and boring…but I liked him. Okay, he was a bit stuffy at times but boy, did Aiesha get under his skin!!!!!! Did he feel his self-control slipping??? Damm right he did!!!!!!
James forced himself to endure the electric shock of her touch without flinching. He forced himself not to look at her mouth, where the tip of her pink tongue had left a moistly glistening trail. He forced himself not to slam her against the nearest wall and slake the fireball of his lust by plunging into her hot, wet warmth and doing what he’d always wanted to do to her. Every cell in his body was vibrating with need, and what sickened him the most was she damn well knew it. ‘Get the freaking hell out of my sight.’
And Aiesha just kept on pushing him…………………..
Her eyes glinted with devilment. ‘I love it when a man talks dirty to me.’ She gave an exaggerated little shiver that made her braless breasts jiggle beneath her sweater. ‘It makes me come in a flash.’
I actually doubted these two ever getting together – pushing each other….but as they open up to each other it became quite clear that James was the right person for Aiesha….his kindness and caring heart was what she needed and of course Aiesha brought something special into his rather boring and drab life………and let’s not forget the most important thing of all…………LOVE!!!!

I cannot believe that if she was really in that situation why she could not have discussed with her boss and ask for his help.
And then she continues blaming the guy, who actually is not a bad person. I hated that he had to go down on his knees and beg her.... I really think he was too good for her......
I like this author but this one just did not do it for me.(less)

I thought the heroine was a bit of a cow....and forcing the guy to grovel and grovel....it wasn't all his fault after all....yes, he was an idiot having lied to her in the beginning...why he did made no sense to me...no don't want to give the whole thing away...but really!!!
The best part of the book was the epilogue, which made it up for me.(less)

The Ultimate Revenge by Victoria Parker, the 3rd and final book in The Gentleman’s Club Mini-Series, is totally and the one I absolutely loved the most……….WOW….What a journey this story took me on. It had everything I love in Mills & Boon story. Captivating protagonists – a seductive and gorgeous alpha hero without the need to take over the heroine’s life. A beautiful, strong, smart and independent heroine, who is not afraid to stand up to the hero without being irritating,. High sensuality and sky-rocketing sexual and emotional chemistry that just blew me away.
Entranced - from the 1st chapter where our hero, Nicandro Santos, who is determined to bring Zeus, the owner of the secretive Q Virtus club down, sees Olympia Merisi, the heroine, sleeping in the most opulent bed, until the last page. You can’t stop turning the pages!!!!! I loved the sexy and warm-hearted Nicandro….he’s a total “boneco” and I would love to have him as my “querido”! The more I got to know him, the more I liked him. Olympia has become one of my favorite Mills & Boon heroines. She has not allowed the sad past to rule her life….she fought back and is determined to succeed without becoming a bitter and twisted person. Emotion and Passion so perfectly balanced – it’s not only about their sexual connection but the emotional as well. They bring the best out of each other…..making it possible for them to actually follow their dreams…..he going back to doing what he has always loved….football…and her finally accepting that she is the person she has always wanted to be. To be accepted and loved for the person she is. Beautifully written sex scenes……erotic, daring and ….mind-blowing!!!!!!!!!!!! And let me not forget the glamorous and fabulous settings.
…fabulous Gaudi Barcelona Some of my favorite scenes – Nicandro playing football with the kids,
t he opening chapter, Nicandro & Olympia making love in the Ice Hotel, Olympia visits Nicandro’s grandfather…..the epilogue and meeting up with Narciso, Ruby, Ryzard & Tiffany from the previous books….
and beyond loved when Olympia shows Nicandro Aurora Borealis .I could go on and on…..let’s just say….I LOVED THE ENTIRE BOOK!!!!!!!!! A great ending to this series – and yes, yes, yes…all is revealed!!!! I am so looking forward to reading more books by this author. I really like her writing style. (less)

If not for her, I’m not sure if I would have liked it as much as I did because the hero, Ryzard Vrbancic, president of the newly liberated country of Bregnovia just never pulled at my heartstrings like Tiffany did. Having been invited to attend a masquerade ball, in Zanzibar that is being hosted by the very secretive Q Virtus Club, she’s manipulated by her family to attend so that she can suss out a business deal her father is very keen about. Ryzard is also a member and is anxious to meet connect with powerful people who can help him get his country recognized by the UN. At the ball, where everyone’s identity is hidden behind exotic masks, Tiffany is in for a huge surprise when she has a one night stand with one of the guests.
Wow, that was the most erotic and sensual scene yet!!!! I’m not going any further about the story which has quite a different plot and protagonists than usual…..a freedom fighter, voted in as president by his people, working hard at getting his country together after the horrendous revolution and a woman, used to being manipulated by her family, who loses her husband on their wedding day, leaving her emotionally and physically scarred. I loved Tiffany – for her courage in the way she dealt with her situation. And that she had such heart and compassion for others and instead of falling into self-pity chose to make a difference. I rather thought she was far too good for Ryzard. I know she agreed to the affair with him but she fell in love with him but he did not feel the same. He just kept using her over and over again until at the very end he realizes how much she means to him. Enough of being in love with the woman who died for him. Here’s this incredible woman who loves you…don’t be a dolt!!!! ……. I said…… A sexy and passionate story with more fabulous settings……loved the Zanzibar scenes…. and a nice addition to the series. Q Virtus, the most secret and exclusive club, where only the invited members of power and wealth meet to network and play. A private world of money and pleasure. Narciso Valentino, a rich and powerful playboy has accepted the invitation to the club’s quarterly conference being held in Macau, where he plans to finally destroy the man who caused him pain and heartbreak in his life.
Ruby Trevelli is a chef and wants to open her own restaurant and after dumping her boyfriend/partner who she discovered was married and just using her parent’s fame, as the chefs of the very successful and long running reality food show called The Ricardo & Paloma Trevelli Show, which Ruby has no intentions of being part of.
Finding herself without a man and money (yes, the bastardo….ran off with the money she had received as the winner of a TV food competition but thank heavens she retain her virtue…yes of course, Ruby is a virgin!!!!!!), she has no other option but to beg the owner of the television show to invest in her restaurant venture. But she’s unable to pin him down, so after she’s told that he’s going to Q Virtus, she applies for the job of a Petit Q hostess, where she will be able to show him her proposal.
Amid the masked opulence (yes, everyone has to wear a specially designed mask…. you remember…secrets, secrets) Narciso soon begins losing track of the reason he’s there when he locks eyes with the delicious Ruby. A lot smoldering looks…and yes, sexy Narciso quickly does away with Ruby’s virginity with some hot and erotic sex!!!
Some twists and turns, witty dialogue and naturally loads of obstacles in front to these two that just keep them going hot and cold, yes and no…..but finally we get to see both overcoming their “daddy” issues and go off to their HEA…………..
I enjoyed the story plot with all its intrigues and secrets and fabulous locations – Macau just sounds so exotic doesn’t it? and interesting characters. (less)
