Vi Keeland’s books never disappointed me, and EGOMANIAC (just like the rest of her books) would go to my favorite-list. She knew how to make her characters relatable, and well-loved (not to mention hate at times). Her plot would always be new, and sexy, and not-so-dramatic, but it would still make your heart tingle a bit.
You’d love Drew Jagger – his witty dialogues would make you (really laugh!). He’s a New York-based divorce attorney – sexy, uber-hot, and rich. His cynical view on marriage came has a history which I would not divulge (no spoilers!). But nevertheless, our hero mind be cynical when it comes to matrimony, but he has a big, kind heart.
I like the way Emerie Rose handled Drew – she never took any sh** from him, and she has a smart retort to every banter he throws at her. She came from Oklahoma to settle in New York, and it didn’t start very well, since she was swindled out. Nevertheless, Drew came to her rescue. I love her – she was very patient, and loyal.
The secondary characters were equally amazing as well. They are great support main characters, most especially Roman, the private investigator (I am looking forward to hear his story too)!
The rave about this book is totally true! Once it showed up in my kindle, and I started reading it – there was no way to stop until the very last page. The fun, innuendo-filled banters, intense sexual chemistry, sprinkled it with some drama that would make your heart ache and not to mention sizzling sex would have you totally hooked. Reading Vi Keeland’s Egomaniac definitely started my year right!

I love everything Michelle Lynn writes, she's one of my favorites - but with Detoured by Love she have outdone herself. I was looking forward for another great read, the one that will have my heart beating hard, and my knees weaken but I didn't expect for this book to make me cry. Argh. My heart ached so hard, and I couldn't breathe. The pain, the suffering was palpable, and I do wish that the characters won't be so hard on themselves and choose their HEA despite all the circumstances that were thrown at them. Yes, this isn't your ordinary love story - it might have started out that way: hot-sports super star meets an ordinary beautiful girl and they fell in love.
There is more to it. The story opened my eyes that all of us should choose happiness rather than wallow in our suffering. We should embrace everything good that is happening and present in our lives and choose to live rather than push people and moments away.
There's romance, there's enough steam, and enough drama to put this one on TOP of your reading list, plus an author's note that equally breaks my heart and made me understand how this story means so much to the author.

I enjoyed this novel coming from one of my favorite Regency Romance authors, Alexandra Hawkins. I have met Thorn from the previous book, and I was looking forward for his story. He and his twin brother Gideon were so much different from one another. Gideon was the adventurous type, while he was the serious type since he was the Earl. They have been close when they were young, but drifted apart when they got older.
Olivia was Gideon’s closest friend, and I thought all the while that they could be great for each other. They were great friends, but no real chemistry, unlike with Olivia and Thorn. He thought that Olivia likes Gideon, so he tries to stir her away from him. But their talks had led him to know Olivia more and the more he knows about her, the more he falls into the trap of liking her. However, how can Olivia like him for him when their connection is based on deceit?
I had so much fun reading this novel and watching the two of them fall in love, and watching how Olivia discovered the truth. I like Gideon’s relationship with Olivia, he truly cares about her, and he would do everything to make her happy as well, even if it means pushing the two of them together.
I loved Waiting for an Earl Like You. It's fun, romantic, sweet and easy read. Indeed there is a thin line between love and hate. It might have started with deception and yes, some characters are exasperating - nevertheless, I met Thorn one book ago and I'm just glad he got his head out of his a** and realize his happy-ever-after is just a touch away! .

Yes, this was way different from all her other books - but the emotions she made her readers feel would make you say: this is her. This is colleen hoover breaking my heart and fixing it in the end.
