Apparently, THIS BOOK.
Confession time! I may have been a certified book worm, but let me tell you a secret, I watched the movie first before submerging myself into the words of Jojo Moyes!
And thank goodness I did, because I would have wasted my money or time watching the film, complaining how much better the book was. Because, let me tell you something, the movie was beautiful, and some of my friends cried...
.... and I was like:
And of course, the book:
I think I can feel more chemistry between Will & Lou in the book rather than those who were playing in the film.
Anyway, I loved this book, and I think I have deliberately slowed down my reading because I didn't want it to end, I was hoping it would end differently, and yet I know how it will all end, and I know that in the end, my heart would be broken, and I might cry in this one. Because it was heavier, the drama was more intense with all those POVs coming from the different characters in the book.
Lou was pretty much amazing. Her character development was steady as the story progress. Will have affected her life in his grumpy little ways. He allowed her to grow, while he was watching, ordering her to do things that were out of her comfort zone, but always safe.
I loved it in ways I didn't expect, with all the sensitive issues surrounding the book, and how Jojo Moyes presented it in a way that wasn't bias - she gave both sides and leave for her readers to decide for themselves. It might break some hearts, and question some beliefs, but me? I always believe in choices.
So, it was my choice to watch the movie first before reading this book. Almost a win-win for me, I did love the movie, but of course, the book was waaaaaaaay much better!
When the book was finally in my reader, all I can say was – FINALLY!!!
These two were long overdue, and now that Echo is eighteen, and is about to go backpacking throughout the UK, I just knew this was their time! Now, I wonder how it will come about. We were all left with a cliffy with the previous book, and now, our questions will be answered, our dreams of them getting back together is about to come true (or at least I’m crossing my fingers about it).
Echo is finally doing it, she was going to UK and going to tour the country, and the fact that there was no way she was going to cross-paths with the man who broke her heart then. There was no contact since the accident except for some flowers that arrived during her special days. But on the first stop on their journey – lo and behold – Kingston just happened to be there, and he happened to be their tour guide!!
But she was set on having fun in her tour. She got to know some new friends and tried to avoid him, however she found it impossible when he was set on getting back on her good graces!
Now that she was eighteen and they weren’t under the roof of her father, Kingston is finally free in going after the girl of his dreams without his guilt eating him. And he makes up for everything big time!!! By the end of the novel, you’d totally forgive him. It was time for their love story bloom, set against some of the most beautiful places in Europe.
I had fun reading it. It’s short, sweet, fun, sexy and an ending that will make hearts flutter.

Much as I love to read Bridger’s story, the anticipation keeps adding up and while waiting we get to meet the men of The Silo. They do know their way to the women’s bed – and ummm…. Heart.
The story was filled with interesting characters that will keep on surprising you the whole time!! Auralie was an interesting character. I just knew there was more to the girl that what meets the eye. But that – I didn’t expect that! Despite everything, this girl did everything to survive and for her father.
As for our Logan, he’s one of the Fantasy Makers in The Silo. He has these nightmares and flashbacks that will make you curious about his past – and just when I thought I had it all in the bag and had him all figured out – he proved me wrong! This guy was something else and his past was totally heartbreaking. He was making penance for everything he did.
Although I was looking for more heart-racing, thrilling and dangerous chase against the villain of the story against the two characters, nevertheless, Wicked Ride was another great, sizzling read coming from this awesome author.

Carli has a lot of issues. She has her shortcomings, but you will like her when she’s with Reed. He brings out the best in her. At the same time, you will grow to hate her with what she does to Reed at times. Yes, I have a love-hate relationship with this girl, but she had a rough childhood, and a family that is so dysfunctional it was breaking my heart.
If Carli has problems with being hard of hearing, Reed is confident with his shortcomings and had helped a lot of individuals to cope with theirs. He’s a great guy who was not just easy on the eyes, but someone whom you’d love. He too has some secrets of his own, and has a past he wasn’t willing to share.
If you are ready for a different kind of love story, you will like and fall in love with Signs of Attraction. This sets the perfect example of action speaking louder than words. This was a book whom you’d think you wouldn’t love, or you wouldn’t finish – but heck, the more you get into the pages, the more you would get hooked. Just as when you thought you got it all figure out, a twist will surprise you and leave you shocked.
It’s an amazing, inspiring, and romantic read that you will love.

I fell so hard for this novel. One can easily relate in the characters. Both are perfectly imperfect, yet, it is what makes this novel more real, and close to the hearts of the readers. This makes us realize that no matter how many times we have committed mistakes, our chances for 'change', in life and in love will never cease. At the same time, our parents' love is boundless and unconditional.

I do not know how Eloisa James made me fell in love with this loathsome man whom I swear I hated! He's an a**, he's cruel, he's manipulative, and despite Bridget's upbringing, she deserves someone who loves her.
But Eloisa James was able to change my mind. He was more than what meets the eye. There was this particular scene that had me so overwhelmingly sad and heartbroken. And seriously seeing him having a heart was a big surprise, and got me so relieved. Ah, there is hope in him.

It’s a forbidden romance – because for a senior student at Gates University it is strictly not allowed for her to get into a relationship with her new dean, Reeve Gates. But fate has other plans, soon their paths crossed and the attraction was just too powerful to ignore.
But Reeve is an angry man who wanted to seek revenge. After being abandoned in the care of his step-mother as a child, and everything that happened to him in between. I can’t really fault him for that. I have this love-hate relationship against this man whose heart is torn between kindness and anger. I love him because he can be sweet, swoony, and thoughtful guy who loves his dogs and really cares for Gats. But when you get to see the other side of him, it seems like he’s a different human being. I was scared of him. Scared for Gats, that she might be in for a heartbreak.
Gats is a great girl surrounded by a great family and an amazing set of friends. Her relationship with Reeve might have blinded her a little with everything that has been going on around her, but when she finally noticed it, she tries to stop Reeve. She tries to make him understand, to put his feet on the ground, to see reason. She was something magnificent, strong and resilient – just like her parents!
I felt ambivalent seeing Brandy and Ivo – loved that they are together and Ivo stuck with his promise and never left her. At the same time, Brandy was getting on the advance stage of her disease. It’s heartwarming to read that she can remember bits and pieces especially with regards to her relationship with her children. On the other hand, this novel shows how the illness affected her family, most especially her kids. But Ivo, he’s truly, truly, amazing.
I fell in love with Ysa Arcangel’s books when I read Forever Night Stand. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to pick this one as well. Like the previous book, it might be a little long for my liking, but it got me hooked with every single page. Ysa sure knows how to engage her readers, make them root for each characters, make them ache, and make them wonder if indeed, there’s going to be an HEA somewhere. I love the complexity of the story. The engaging twists and turns that pops up in every page now and then, surprising you, making your heart drenched with so much emotion.
You see, I love the epic story of Gat’s parents. It was just amazing. I wonder if hers is going to be as epic as theirs. And indeed, Ysa gave us another love story to swoon on.

Adam and Cass had been friends for a long time. He was her brother’s best friend. When Adam came back at the war, he wanted to enter politics. But first, he needed to find a wife, or fake an engagement. Who better to offer a fake engagement to than Cass?
Cass, on the other hand, has a traumatic past with her fiancé. She didn’t want to go through it again, and she was already seeing herself as an old maid, until Adam told her about his offer.
This was an easy on the heart read, with a dash of drama and the perfect amount of romance. You’d love the characters as much as I did. Adam was just perfect for Cass and vice versa, it may have took them some time to finally admit to their feelings, but it was great to watch them finally succumbing to love.

That even when you feel like you’re downing in all of this craziness, that I’ll be there to save you. Forever. For Always.”
This is definitely worth the read. I love the complexity and development of both characters along the way. You can’t simply help but cheer for the both of them as they reach the finish line. It wasn’t an easy race, they have so many things to conquer along the way, and yet it the end all the hardships were worth it.

Garrett has everything in his hands – wealth, and successful career, except for the one thing that he wanted since he laid eyes on it: his stepsister. He tried to fight the emotions and the lust that he feels whenever they were in the same room. But during Savannah’s med school graduation, something happened between the two of them, and it was never the same again. Then he gets to meet her boyfriend. Things happened that brought the two of them apart.
I hated the fact that he just gave up and didn’t fight. He could have set himself free, if he only tried – after all, he was a hotshot lawyer, wasn’t he? He welcomed his fate with open arms, and for five years, he didn’t see Savannah.
Five years later, Savannah was a single mom with a great practice being a small-town doctor. She couldn’t deny it, but the only thing that was missing was his stepbrother. She lost both her best friend and her brother when he got incarcerated. But now, he’s back. She was happy that he was back, but the feelings she had back then, just got magnified, which was the problem. There was no way there would be a repeat of what happened five years ago.
I loved the forbidden romance blossoming between the two of them – they tried so hard to fight it, and I was just glad they finally accepted their fate. Enough steam to warm your sheets, some crazy-(ex) in-laws and an adorable kid – makes this one an exciting read.

The sexual chemistry between them was overwhelming, and I was wondering when it would blow up! The sense of anticipation when these two would get together is just like the action and suspense that I was experiencing with each and every page.
I enjoyed reading this book immensely. With the romance that reminds me of Chasing Liberty and First Daughter, combined with some jaw-dropping action, a whole-lot of chasing and some heart-stopping, unexpected twists and turns – makes Saving Liberty a worthwhile read.
I didn’t stop reading, and finished this book in one sitting. Who can possibly put this one down and miss out on all the fun and thrill? Certainly not me! Helena Newbury’s new novel had me totally hooked.

She has a lot on her plate, and the only thing she can offer to someone was a night or two, no strings, no commitments, no cuddling and no sleepovers. She doesn’t do complicated, her life is way more than that. She has a brother to care for.
James Martin’s reputation precedes him. He’s not only a good soccer player on the field, it is also rumored that he was one heck of a player off the field too. Who can resist someone as hot as James? Certainly not Nicole. One explosive night with him was not enough. So when one night stand becomes two, then becomes three, and then becomes something else, things are different. James offered the world at her feet, and for the first time, someone was taking care of her and not the other way around.
Would Nicole be willing to risk her heart for someone she wasn’t sure staying? Can he accept her and her baggage?
You’d love them both – they’re amazing, but not perfect. They have their own shortcomings, but totally forgivable considering how great they are. I mean, Nicole could just drop the responsibility and get on with her life – enjoy every moment of it, and yet she chose to stay and take care of her brother. He was important to her and it was the only thing that she won’t compromise. As for James, he understood, and he will do everything to have the girl. He has a big heart, big enough for her family. He knew how important they are to her, and he was willing to compromise – how freaking incredible is that?! He knew how to break the wall that surrounded her heart.
I enjoyed reading this book – the sex was mind-blowing, but the characters are just as interesting as well, and I’m not just talking about the main characters. The supporting characters are pretty much fascinating to. It was fun, exciting, and I love watching James trying to win our girl over. He knew how to woo her totally! If you would love to read a book that’s sexy, not that heavy and totally entertaining – you need to give this one a try.
This is my first Katie McCoy read, and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Jade had enjoyed her singlehood and all the perks that comes with it, but with her friends settling down and having lives of their own – she suddenly felt that there was more to life than playing around. But there was only one man she thought of keeping, and he went away. Now, he was back in town, and he was just in time to catch her after she slept with the sexy and charming Hollywood up and coming actor, Dean Hartley. To get her ex’s attention; she went straight into the arms of a younger man. She just hope Dean wants to play the role of her fake boyfriend.
Dean didn’t expect it would be more than one night with the beautiful photographer. The moment she asked his help to convince her ex she was ready to settle down, he easily agreed. He has his own agenda – he gets to convince her that she was worth more than the boring white picket fence that her previous flame was offering her.
If Dean is persistent, Jade can be really stubborn sometimes. I wonder how long will it take for Dean to make her realize, or would she ever realize it? Would his plan work? Can he break her walls? Can he convince her?
It’s definitely short sexy read, with a touch of kink and a sprinkle of romance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I adore Lady Alexandra, she was easy to love compared to her elder sister Lavinia. Ever since she was young, she decided that he was going to marry Lord Owen Monroe. But her father wanted him for her sister – and she needed to do something about it.
Owen had spent his bachelor days drinking, gambling and womanizing. But his allowance in endandered unless he finds himself engaged to the beautiful Lady Lavinia. He’s desperate enough to accept ‘help’ coming from the perfectly innocent, beautiful and spirited younger sister, Lady Alexandra. She was giving him lessons to woo her sister.
But what happens when he finds himself enamored of the younger sister?
The development of both characters are really admirable, you’d see them grow within the pages, watch them not just fall in love, but watching their characters mature. It was a fun and exciting ride that kept me awake in the wee hours of the morning.

She was planning to sell herself at an auction to the highest bidder – thinking about quitting the theater and build a business that would cater to the needs of women. But what Nathan doesn’t know is that Maddy has her own plans of her own. What happens when secrets come out? What happens when one starts to fall? What happens when their pretend-relationship feels not-pretend at all?

Adeline Hays’ plan was to escape an unwanted marriage from a despicable earl. She will allow herself to be compromised with a personRating: 4.5 Stars
Adeline Hays’ plan was to escape an unwanted marriage from a despicable earl. She will allow herself to be compromised with a person whom she like rather than be shackled to a person she didn’t even like. They were in a house party, and with the right people – she can be married in no time. But because of an ‘accident’ she entered the wrong chamber and stumbles into the bed of a duke. Not just an ordinary duke, but the MAD DUKE himself, Edmond Rochester.
The Duke of Wolverton is seeking a wife, not for himself but for his daughters. He wanted someone he wasn’t attracted and no chance of falling in love with. But to his chagrin, a beautiful lady traps him into marriage. And despite the fact that he was trying his best into ignoring her, there was no use. He was already hooked not just with her beauty, but with her heart.
Will he once again take the risk in love?
Adeline is easy to fall in love with. She’s such a great woman, with positive disposition in life. She makes the most out of everything that life throws at her. Even when it’s frustrating and hard as the duke. And Edmond? He’s exasperating, and there are times I wanted to get inside the book and slap some senses into him. He did redeem himself in the end. It took some heartbreaking moments, but it was worth it.
You can’t put this one down. Once I started reading this book, it took me until I reached the final page before I had the heart to put my reader away. I enjoyed reading this book, it was fun, sweet, romantic, steamy with the right amount of drama.
This is one of the EAGLE ELITE Series – so my expectations were high. I have always loved every book there is. And this one was no exception. I love the anticipation, the storyline, the danger that is looming, all the twists and turns that filled each pages that would make you gasp, and let’s not forget the love story that is growing that is total swoon-worthy.
The characters were amazing as well. Sergio is still grieving, and it was just beautiful how everything turned out for him. And our sweet Val, who’s one of my favorite female leads in the series right now. The both of them were pretty much amazing! You can’t help but just fall in love with them!
EMPIRE was a story of second chance – in love, and in life. It’s a story of letting go, finding love and hope even at the bleakest of times.
Rachel Van Dyken sure knows how to stop her reader’s time, and have him/her hooked with each page. I was unable to put this down, this gave me all the feels without breaking my heart too much. I can’t find the exact words to express how much I love this book! There were just too many emotions, surprises, and there’s that flicker of hope of happy-ever-after that would put you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Dylan and Bea knew each other through common friends, one thing led to an explosive one night stand. While Bea seems like a woman of the world and isDylan and Bea knew each other through common friends, one thing led to an explosive one night stand. While Bea seems like a woman of the world and is slapped with a bad reputation when it comes to sleeping around, Dylan is quite the opposite. He’s quite a chic sometimes, wanting the happy-ever-after (which I’m still confused whether it’s to swoon for or not), and other times he can be tough and can go into total alpha-mode. Total whip-lash right there.
While I settled with Bea being a misunderstood bad girl with a dash of mystery, Dylan on the other hand, no matter how he tries to be bad – he would still go to that ‘good-boy’ category. Him, being bad? Doesn’t really work with me. But it was entertaining to see him try.
Bea has a whole lot of baggage, having both mommy and daddy issues – both people were totally incapable of having a relationship, making her doubt herself if she can sustain a relationship as well. You will totally ache for her. As for Dylan, he has his past, but yes, he still believes and hopes for his HEA.
It was an unforgettable one night, and they thought their paths would never cross, until work brought them back together. With so much sexual tension and attraction, can they keep their hands off each other and work professionally?
Just like the rest of the series, I enjoyed reading this book. I love a strong female who knows how to get into the top using her brains and guts, and I love a male lead that is not afraid to show some emotions.
I wanted to know what happened. I wanted to know who’s responsible for everything. I wanted to see if the characters are goingI.COULDN’T.STOP.READING!
I wanted to know what happened. I wanted to know who’s responsible for everything. I wanted to see if the characters are going to get their happy endings. Somehow, the plot sounds a little familiar, but this book still has the power to pique my interest, my curiosity and a whole lot variety of emotions.
Lexi Ryan writes like you wouldn’t dare put it down – that you’d missed something if you so much blink. The book’s mystery was easily captivating, and it will entrapped you – leaving you no choice but to see how everything will end.
My heart goes out to Mia and Arrow – both of them are victims of a tragedy that changed their lives in more ways than one could imagine. Guilt and grief is a potent combination that had them in a crazy limbo for some time. It’s a good thing that their paths have crossed again, it doesn’t matter that they started out wrong, or there were painful words that was said because of the hurt. In the end, everyone got what they deserve.
I loved and swooned over the romance, panted over those crazy steamy scenes, got teary eyed with the dash of drama in between, and gasped over the surprising twists and turns. But nothing prepared me for THAT revelation. Indeed, in this book, you will meet a couple of parents – totally imperfect and sometimes you’d got to hate what they do to their children, but in the end, you’d realize that parents would move heaven and earth for their kids.
This book is about second chances and forgiveness. What a way to start a new series!

Hadley and Josh had been best friends since they were young and living in the hellish confines of their foster homes. They made it, but not unscathed. They have scars. Scars have marked their souls and kept on haunting them. Their relationship went on, even if they got adopted by different people, they needed each other.
Then one night, everything changed. What should be the start of their happy ending, had caused their relationship to spiral down. Josh ran out, when Hadley needed him most – and it caused a strain in their relationship. Now, they still live in the same house, they still have the same friends, but everything was never the same again.
Will they ever have their happy ending?
I am truly lost for words the moment I finished the book. The characters were totally complex and have been through hell and back. I admire their courage in facing their demons and finally trying to get through life despite everything that they experienced. Yes, they made bad choices, and suffer the consequences of their actions but they are also trying to make up for it.
The people that surround them were truly amazing as well. They are one heck of a support system. One doesn’t need to be related to be called family.
I wanted to add more, but I will be spilling out spoilers if I don’t stop typing!!!
The Debt was a spectacular read. A totally unexpected emotional roller-coaster ride that had my heart ached so badly, I thought I was never going to recover. Just as when I thought they were in for a happy ending, another thing drops, and I’d once again cross my fingers, hoping for the best. Then finally, it was with great relief that it ended beautifully. Such a heartwarming ending that will sooth the aching of your heart and soul. You should give this one a try!
