I enjoyed the idea based on the survival of the Lorien people and their quest to join together with the remaining 6 to beat off the Mogadorians. This book did a great job to portray the emotions that are supposed to be felt when reading it. Especially at the ending when John, Number Four, shared all his feelings towards Henri that he has been hiding in. It poured out lot's feeling and love. That was written to perfection. Can't wait to read the sequel to this, The Power of Six.
I first saw the movie for this book. It was exceptionally filmed and i really enjoyed it. From past experiences, the book is usually better than the movie and may have some different details. The book was just as i thought! It captured the true emotion and sadness that the movie just couldn't portray.
The end was the best part, man! It was like the cooling period or like conclusion of the story. Where ideas are explained with no confusion, everything is cleared out and preparing the reader for the end. I just wasn't able to put it down. Like life, things come and go. This was the point where everybody needed to move on and forget their burdens.
I would recommend this to Leeah. She is very mature. I believe that she will feel the emotion in the book that was meant and really appreciate the book's perfection of work. There will be no point for someone that is ignorant and just reading the book for what it is and not what is actually contained. They would not understand and have a real opinion for this book. (less)
