She tried to be next to him at whatever chance she got. The only problem was that Bryce felt the exact opposite of what Julie felt. Julie creeped him out on every level and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with her. As the story unwinds Bryce realizes that Julie Baker is not who he thought she was. She is everything that he wants. But is he to late?
In my opinion this novel was fantastic. It is a love story that almost any teenager can relate to. The connection between Bryce and Juli is so strong throughout the whole book even though the love wasn't always there. The romance is a long winding road that has an unexpected ending. The author incorporated middle school drama so well into the book. It's incredible.
I would give the book four out of five stars because even though I loved the story itself the book did get a little bit boring at times. It led on certain points that made the book seem somewhat to long even though it was a short book. Overall I think that Flipped was a well written novel that has a great story and is very well written. ...more

In my opinion “The Hunger Games,” was a wonderfully written book that takes you on a journey through young love and survival of the fittest. The book captures your heart with a suspense filled story that you wont put down. Suzanne Collins has a way with describing situations that really touches your heart. “The Hunger Games,” gives away just enough information to make you really think what is going to happen next. I didn’t want this book to end.
I would give this book five out of five stars because it was a great story that had some of the most well written dialogue that I have ever read. The book is suspenseful, motivational, and heart warming. It actually makes you think about how we should appreciate what we have and think about the future. I would highly recommend this book to anybody that hasn’t already read it. ...more

As their relationship is at its peak they have to part for their college years. The miles between them act as a sponge and soak up all the feelings that they had. Its amazing what distance can do.
Daria Snadowsky created such a rich, teenage love story that really demonstrates the power of love. I grew to feel a strong connection with all of the characters. Some of them earned a special place in my heart and others did not, but in all honesty they worked together to create a journey that almost all teenagers take. The way she described the actions that take place made me feel as if I was a part of the story! We can all relate to the tragedies and the miracles that happen in some way. I really appreciate that. I felt that this book had many twists and turns and that it was really well put together. It was a book that made me feel in a happy sweet mood. Most of the story was upbeat and happy! Although I did not enjoy some parts of it, overall it was good.
I loved this story, but I would only give it 3 out of 5 stars. The story was somewhat predictable, which always is a downside. The ending of this novel was probably the most disappointing end to a great story that I have ever read. I would I have liked to see a little more thought go into the ending. Overall this book was fantastically heartwarming, and a great read. ...more

As they slowly start to reconnect their relationship grows stronger. "Sweethearts," by Sara Zarr is by far the most deep, interpersonal, passionate book that I have ever read. With each line of the story, I fell deeper and deeper in love with the plot. This book was the only book that I have ever read in a day. I could not put it down."Sweethearts," is one of those stories that you feel like your a part of. The words in the book spoke to me, making it easier to feel for the characters. I loved the way the splot flowed as if it were a chocolate river. Some parts were easy and light. Other parts of the plot were thick and full of commotion. I would give this book five stars all the way, because it was an easy read that had a deep meaning. The story of this novel was unlike any I have ever read. A lot of books about love have the same type of story line. This book had its own, original story that made an impact on how I think of romance. ...more
