I think that Tim’s reason for writing this book was to talk about his life and his experiences as a young football player. The point of view in this book is first person because Tim uses words like “I, and me. The main character in this book is Tim Tebow because the book is all about him and what he has done in his life and his scary birth. This book is non-fiction because it explains what happened early in Tim’s life and career. He wasn’t even born in the United States but both of his parents are of American nationality, kind of a bad time to plan a trip. The theme of this book is that life and people will try and stop you from reaching your goal, and that went times are hard or times are down, don’t give up. The harder that you work towards your goal, the more success you will have. People told Tim that he wasn’t a good enough football player to make it to the next level after high school and college, but he worked hard to prove them wrong, even though he might not have a job this upcoming fall. He can say one thing that 99 percent of people can’t say and that is “I made it.” The style of this book was narration, because Tim Tebow tells the story of his life and how he was introduced to the game of football. The style of this book is pretty affective because it’s easy for me to relate to things that involve sports. I also think that it was an effective way to talk about his life and time playing football. I thought that this book was good because I didn’t really get bored through the whole book, which is strange because I’m not usually good at sticking with books. Its interesting to hear the story behind an actual quarterback. There is also a lot of information for someone who is writing a research paper on Tim Tebow. My opinion of this book is alright because there was a few times were the book got boring and slow, but at other times it was very interesting. The thing that I liked most about this book was the way he goes about doing things. He really worked hard to get to where he was and still believes that he has much more potential. One of the only reasons I didn’t really like this book was because I am not really a Tim Tebow fan or a fan of football at all. The book was easy to read and the print size made the book seem much shorter than 250 pages. All and all I give this book a seven out of ten stars and would recommend it to anyone who likes football or sports in general. (less)
