It wasn't what I expected it's not a bad book it just wasn't what I had in mind, I didn't particularly enjoy the way in which the story was narrated like it was a collection of short stories relatively about the same subject, I prefer a continuous story. There were other parts I would have liked to know a little more about but the subject and time would suddenly be changed. It's a good book although not to helpful if you're looking for something related to borderline personality disorder is like a poetry book still a good book if you want to have winona ryder and blonde angelina jolie's faces in your mind for a day, short read, page turner, interesting, still wanted a more cohesive description....more

It explain in great dept a series of "essential" exercises for basic strength training, the basic premise of the book is: if you're a novice lifting weights, and a novice overall going to the gym this book should be your starting point. You should first get the strength enough to go on in more advanced exercises and programs and the best way to do it is following this exercises and more importantly following then with the correct form which again are very well explained in this book, the author expends the first 50 or more pages of the book talking about more or less everything you can know about doing a squat. I recommend this book to every novice. I think a scientific approach is most of the time the solution and this guy has years of experience and research in the gaining muscle-lifting weight field, in my opinion the definite guide for starters looking to get strong and to gain muscle....more

Focused to every player who has manage to play according to a hand start chart and has cover all of the basics. It's more for live player than online players but online player could definetly benefit from it (i'm an online player myself). It's well written and has a great part on how to exploit TAG and LOOSE players and some quizes at the end to prove what you've learned. I would definetly read again....more

I really don't know why I started reading this, normally I don't enjoy or lean towards young adult kind of books but this had so many good reviews and was read by almost everyone that seemed like fun, I was half-right. It starts kind of weird really you don't know what's going on into a bit into the book (nothing's wrong with that) it actually goes pretty well after you kind of understand what the author is trying to do, is a story inside a story is an old hero telling the story of his life from childhood, so we meet this guy Kvothe, Kvothe is a child from a fairy tale, the cliche hero from a fairytale, he knows it all, he's a complete retard with womens, he's an idiot some of the time inexplicable because he seems to think of himself as omnipotent or something, anyways he's kind of a know-it-all douchebag.
So... we start hearing the story of the most famous hero of all time in this world in this time, it's a cool story, especially when his parents die horribly and he's left homeless and shocked without memory, really that is the best part of the book in my opinion. Then he goes into this university thing which makes you think of another famous school of magic book... and it gets kind of boring but then the worst happens: he falls in love with some whore girl and he's so awkward and needy it just make you want to throw out.
Then all the book revolves around how he is in love with this girl who has one boyfriend per week and friendzones him, there's some adventures sure but really it just makes him look bad, he knows everything but not what's in front of his face, he always seems to be thinking about his own behaviour and trying to act accordingly to what he thinks will get people to do what he wants, so he's a manipulative know-it-all friendzoned kid.
Anyways I understand the value of the book and why is so praised and I do, is not a completely boring book is just not really my thing but I'm pretty sure is good in his niche and I'm pretty sure it will be a success when it gets made into a television series and I will completely watch it I just hope it doesn't have any of that cliche friendzoned nerd drama "Denna" stuff, just fuck her already dude she's begging for it......more
