Though I did not enjoy much reading it, I can still say that it has a good ending, a happy one. However, I have some issues with the characters.
I did not like the attitude of Kate, she's obnoxious and self-centered. She kept on saying that everything happens because of her. She insisted that everything is her fault. Yeah, right. I can't stop my eyes from rolling. Ugh. Here are some examples: (view spoiler)[When Cronus declared war and killed many people in Athens, she said that was her fault. When Ava died, it was her fault again. (hide spoiler)]. Ok, if you haven't read this book yet, i hope you did not click the spoiler alert! Haha! But I can't promise to write this whole review without some spoilers, please bear with me, I just can't help it.
Henry, on the other hand, is still hot as ever, haha. However, it seems that he's so weak, in spite of the fact that he's the god of the underworld. I mean, he almost died, again. Ugh. I hope that's not a major spoiler, because that also happened in the second book.
Ava, another major character here, is as annoying as ever. I understand why Kate couldn't forgive her. And she feels sorry for the things she has done, oh well, she can just shut up.
Calliope, she's a good villain, but too pathetic, I couldn't get the fact the she's angry because no one loves her. I think I do not understand her at all.
Anyway, it's still a good book, I just the hope characters are lovable. ;)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more
3.5 stars. I know, I know, why not 5 stars? Well, because I didn't like some of the parts, haha! Let's just say I'm not into man whores, what if he re3.5 stars. I know, I know, why not 5 stars? Well, because I didn't like some of the parts, haha! Let's just say I'm not into man whores, what if he really has STD? Haha! Well, I think I just prefer good guys and Cage is not my type, though I really love Marcus from the second book. That's the truth, I fell in love with Marcus and I'm loyal to him. He's my favorite so far from all of them!
Anyway, it's really good to see Cash to finally fall in love and hopefully stick to Eva. I guess, he will. He's madly in love with her and I'm happy for Cage. He's a sweet guy after all, and very thoughtful. Eva is so lucky to have him. I don't know what to say anymore. Haha.

It's real and unpredictable. I also find it unique for me, especially because it has a not-so-typical girl considered as one of the boys. But I'm not that fan of her, maybe because she's seems to be lost sometimes, and confuse. I admit I'm not into sports, especially football, that's why there are parts of the book that I'm not familiar with. I like the fact that it is unpredictable. Wait, I don't know how to complete this review without spoiling some. Ummm. Well, this is hard.. Haha!
Anyway, I like all the characters! They are all funny and cool! Jordan is extraordinary, like I said, she's one unique girl. But she met Ty, a new guy in their school. And that changed everything. She has a best friend, a guy friend actually, Henry. He is her friend for like ten years, from what I remembered reading, haha. So yes, i didn't expect that there's a love triangle here. And that made the story very interesting. I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know who she ended up with. Halfway through it, I already knew who I want for myself, I mean for her. LOL! I will not spoil the ending, I promise! I love all her friends, even though it was hard for me to remember all of them.
I love it! Especially because it includes all kinds of relationships, families, friends, and lovers. If you love sports and unique romance, you will enjoy this book! I highly recommend it ti everyone! And I will definitely read the other books from the author. ;)...more

I still love it in spite of the cheesy parts and Lake's childish attitude. This is all about Will and I love him. I love reading anything and everything about him. This is such a heart whelming ending of the Slammed series, well, I hope so. Don't get me wrong, some part of me do not want it to end but this is already a perfect ending, the last piece. It makes everyone happy. ;)...more

I think everyone can relate to this book, especially if you're in high school. Even if you're old enough, the book will bring you back your childhood and teenage memories. At first, I find it very boring, there are so many confusing parts that I couldn't handle. And the lead, Marisa, is very annoying, she has too many thoughts in her mind and a lot of insecurities. I don't remember someone as insecure like her. So maybe you'll hate the first 15 chapters, because that's where I got bored. But I promise you it will get better.
I know, I know, the book is kind of predictable, especially when you take a look of the cover itself. You'll get the ending of it. But the other half of the book is really amazing that I can't put it down. There have been a lot of changes in their personalities, they changed and became better, because of some significant factors in their lives like family drama, school stuff and relationships. I got hooked on how cool Nash is, especially how he makes her happy, on how he remember things, and how he loves bells so much.
To everyone who started reading this book, or to those who will start it, always remember don't give up on it. Better things will come your way. You'll be surprise that it will give you highlights from your own teenage life, and how you will relate to it, and it will make you remember how strong you became through the years.
We all do have the same sentiments, especially when we are waiting for the one. But we don't have to wait, we just need to look around us.
I have so many favorite quotes from the book, but let me give you one: "When someone rips your heart out, there's nothing you can do to change how you feel about them. You just have to keep feeling that way until it goes away. Until it never does."- page 185...more

This is another "ex-story", yes, about ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend. And I was wondering if the author have a thing with ex's that she keeps on writing about them. Hmmm, I think I will never know. :)
I find it very unique and interesting. I couldn't stop thinking about it and I couldn't bring myself to put it down. This is actually about a girl with a purple notebook that contains all her greatest fears, or some things that she's scared to do. But she lost it and she found out that his ex-boyfriend's group has it. In order to retrieve it, she needs to do everything they say. Oh yeah, sounds interesting right? Actually this book actually first got me with it's title. I really like the mystery of each task, of what she will do. I love all the characters, they are uniquely different fron each other.
I enjoyed the funny and cool ride! I wish I have this awesome life! Lol! ...more

This is the coolest retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale that I've ever read! I am now officially a fan of Robin Palmer, and I'm going to buy and read her other books! Yeah, yeah, I need to calm down! Ok, *deep sigh*, I admit I decided to read this because I was hoping it'll make me happy after readng a horrible one. And now, I'm happy to say that this book really made my day and has erased all my memories of the horrible book I was talking about earlier. (I'm not going to mention the title of that horrible book because I'm too kind to ruin any reputation, and let's just code it as the "horrible one". LOL!) Anyway, I really fell in love with this book even though I find it so cheesy at first. I had to think like a fifteen year old girl anticipating for prom or rather someone who doesn't like proms and fairy tales but somehow she acually does. And I like the fact that this book was written and published 5 years ago and some of the character names were from the nineties, even the romantic movies and TV series mentioned. I love Cindy Ella, her wit, guts, intelligence and clumsiness. She's so funny I laughed in each of her super embarrassing moments! I love her unique and supportive friends, Malcom and India. I even like her stepmother and step sisters, they are not bad at all. Of course, I love Adam, her prince charming! LOL! He's sweet and "different", you'll know what I mean once you read it. ;)
Yes, you're right, I'm giving this book 5 stars, because I enjoyed it so much that I finished it in two and a half hours. I'm also putting it in my favorite shelf! I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good laugh and relieve their past teenage craziness, i mean adventures! LOL!...more

I was hoping there will be less Warner in the next books.
Ok, so I really feel sorry with what I thought about Warner. This book with his POV has definitely redeemed himself and I've learned to eventually understand him. What he was and what he did in the first book explains a lot of things here. He's a good person, but his father has been controlling him. He's in love with Juliette, though I guess he's a bit obsessed with her, but I'm not that sure. And I like him here. I want the second book so much!!! ...more

I admit it took me a long time to finally read it since I hated Reid in the first and second book! He's bad and a jerk most of the time. But I'm so glad I decided to read it, it made me love Reid and I'm happy that I gave him a second chance. It's really true, every bad person really deserves a second chance. :)
I liked Doris, I can say that she's perfect for Reid. They are very different from each other, having the opposite lives. Doris has this good girl image, a pastor's daughter, a social worker student, a part time teacher in a vacation bible school. Yes, she attends church every Sunday. While Reid is definitely an opposite of her, he's a handsome celebrity, with a workaholic dad and alcoholic mom, he parties every night, goes with different girls, and the usual guy who drinks and drive. He had an accident and destroyed a house, then he volunteered in a community service and later on handled by Doris. And the rest of the story is about how they clicked together, even though they used to argue a lot since they have different attitudes and views. I liked how the romance grew, their undeniable attraction with each other, and their friendship turned to love. I like the fact that Reid changed and became a better person because of her. Also he understand everything about her.
I love love love this book, it got me to tears while reading it, and has brought up many emotions in me. I love how Tammara Webber weaves a beautiful story but a realistic one, where everyone can relate to. ;)...more

I know I should blame myself about that because I don't usually read book reviews before and while reading a book. I know there's a second book, but I thought it will be about a different character from the series. So yeah, I'm a bit disaapointed right now. This book would have been a good one if the author actually ended it here. I think this is so much better as a stand alone.
Anyway, I'm not sure if the heroine, Rose, is really angry, but she can really make everyone angry. I find her immature, and I understand her somehow because she's just fourteen. Tracy, her bestfriend, is angry at her most of the time. I think she's not a true friend to her at all. Robert, the guy who has a long time crush with her, is kinda stalkerish. Jamie Forta, the guy she really likes, is hot, somehow I think he is. He's got a girlfriend, and I don't remember her name, lol! But that girlfriend became Rose's mortal enemy in the book. Well I think most of the characters were angry at her at one point, including her mom and brother, which is I think record-breaking. Lol! ;)
Yeah, I did enjoy this one, and I'm going to read the sequel because I want to know what will happen to Jamie. I don't care much about the heroine, she makes me angry sometimes. Lol! ;)...more
