The first chapters of Vampire Academy didn't persuade me at all. I found it a little boring. But then, something in the story happened. I couldn't lay the book away anymore.
So my conclusion: definitely a surprise for me. Definitely an amazing page turner!(less)

I love love loved Torment. From page 1 to page 452, I was blown away. I hadn't any trouble getting into this book, because I read it Fallen before it. I didn't think Fallen was a great, worth-five-stars-book, so I had no high hopes for Torment. But after I read a few chapters, my opinion about the Fallen-series had changed completely! I loved it.
****Spoilers****
1. I don't like Daniël in this book. He is supposed to be her boyfriend, 'the one', but I didn't feel that way about him. He showed up a couple of times and when he was with Luce, he didn't say anything that mattered. All he could do was just fly away and being all selfish. But that's just my point of view about him.
2. I just love Miles. I find him a better boyfriend than Daniël. When Luce and Miles kissed, I jumped off my bed, because I was so excited. Miles is sweet and funny.
3. Torment had quite a few humour moments in it. I laughed more than when I read 'Fallen'. (less)

I was obsessed with it from the first page, it was so exciting! I love all the characters, especially Tony. Unfortunately, the ending leaves me with thousands of questions. But that's why there is an upcoming sequal to Infinite Days, I guess.
****Spoilers****
1. I didn't liked Justin at first, because he was one of the popular guys, flirting with every girl on campus. When the end approached, I started to like him more. He is good for Lenah, he loves her so deeply.
2. Tony. Oh, what a wonderful character. When I was reading Infinite Days, I was hoping he and Lenah were getting closer. And they did, but not in a romantic way, that was what I hoped for. But in the end, I liked Justin too, so I was good with it.
3. Tony & Tracy together? Hell no. I didn't think I like this couple at all. That's because I hate Tracy in Infite Days, I guess. In my expierence, she was a jealous bad ass kind of girl. My favorite character is Tony, so I sighed when I read that they were together.
4. I didn't like the dead of Tony. He was my favorite!(less)

'Fracture' is a story about Delaney. While she is walking on snow covered ice, she suddenly falls and the ice cracks. She immediatly falls through it, lost under the ice. Her best friend Decker jumpes after her. He is able to pull her out at eleven minutes. You're supposed to be death at ten minutes. She awakes in the hospital after a six-day coma. Diagnosis: brain damage. She isn't supposed to have any memories at all and all that stuff. But she heals and everything seems okay. Or so she thought. Then she meet this strange boy, Troy Varga. He is weird, strange and it seems like he has something to do with Delaney.
I was sucked in to Fracture from the first page on. The writing is comfortable, I could read this book in just two hours (if I had the time to do that). First, I loved Delaney's character. She is a strong girl, but she continues to wonder about her being still alive. On the other hand, there is Decker. A sweet boy who won't show his feelings right away. I directly wanted him to be together with Delaney! There was this strong chemistry between the two of them, I loved it! I didn't like Troy Varga at all. He scared the crap out of me, but he is definitely mysterious and added a great tension to the story.
Overall, I loved everthing about Fracture. It's definitely a dark story with a dose of romance, action and tension. Funny fact: when I was about to finish Fracture, it became so exciting, that I decided to stop reading it. I was about heading to bed, and I was afraid I couldn't sleep because of the tension. Poor me! So I read it the morning after.
Fracture deserves five stars in my opinion. Loved it and I would recommend it to all you YA-readers out there!

And yes, it was magical, but in a good way!
I love the writing, the characters and the paranormal setting.
I think my favorite character is Ann. She is just so shy and sweet, but when it comes to the magical world she is very secure.
