I don't feel like there was enough from Ted's point of view, so I never felt like I got inside his head enough to understand his relationship with Lucy or Meg. The ending was a little flawed for me that way. 2. Wynette was much more annoying in this book than it was Lady Be Good and it got to be a thing. I never read Francine Beaudine's book, so maybe I would have been more annoyed, but I was sad that Emma wasn't as awesome in this book. It loses a whole star for that.
But Ted and Meg and their relationship make up for a lot. So, otherwise, fabulous.(less)
