I realized I never really knew how it really was to say goodbye to a story and its characters that I have come to loved so much until the Clockwork Princess. I have finished a lot of series that I really enjoyed and loved yet this is the first time that I've felt such overwhelming heartache and grief to part ways with these world, characters and story Clare has created. But through all that I am really glad and grateful that I was able to witness the journey of these characters. Meeting them is the most wonderful reading experience I'd ever had.
*A full review will come although I really don't know how I would be able to make a proper one without turning into a blubbering mess. (I'm afraid every time I'd try to remember those things I love about this book so much, I'd sob and sob and sob.)
This has brought me back to tears again. This just sounds so sad and heart breaking. Oh Will. :((

Everything just freaking hurts.
I was compelled, awed, confused and utterly heart-broken. This book was a whirlwind of emotion. It was just too emotional that I am seriously having a hard time thinking what to say in here. The last part left me completely torn that I didn't know what emotion I should feel first. I just wanna lie on my bed, stare at the ceiling and think of a thousand ways of how the story should've turned out. And I can't believe I have to wait another year to wait for the third book. I'm seriously going mad.
Though this book had left me emotionally wrecked I can still say that this was really beautifully made. The plot was awesome, the twists are thrilling and exciting, the revelations were shocking and heart wrenching and the characters are all wonderful, and not to mention those totally swooning scenes. Cassie's really a great writer. I am very much awed with this world she made and how immense impact it can bring on me. Not so may authors can make me feel like this, to make me bring out so many emotions and to feel so devastated when everything is not going well, as if it was my life in there. I was devoured. Completely devoured.
In this book, I was finally able to see and understand the real William Herondale. The loving and caring Will. The one who sacrifices a lot and would do everything just for his loved ones. Most parts of the story, I wanted to cry for him. I wanted to jump into the book and hug him and comfort him. All those rudeness and impoliteness during the first book was for good. Realizing everything he had done, every sacrifices he made, every pain he had endured just to save everyone was just so heart aching. Will was such a wonderful and good person. I got a lot more reasons now to love him. The last part left me so torn and I can't imagine how painful it was for him.
There were a lot of Jem in this book, actually more than Will. I saw a much stronger and less suppressing Jem here. I was surprised when he proposed to Tessa and she accepted it. But I can't help but feel sad and pained at that time instead of being happy for him. I was just wondering why he seems to be so oblivious to Will's feelings for Tessa. In the Clockwork Angel, he clearly noticed Will's feelings but in CP it feels like he has no idea that Will and Tessa have feelings for each other. Or maybe he thinks that he needed to have something or someone he really wanted or be selfish just for once despite what others were feeling since he's living a short life and he never wanted anything in his life before. I don't know. I want Jem to be really happy and be cured. But I want Tessa to end up with Will.
I feel so sorry for Tessa. I understand her decisions and I am just as freaking confused and torn as she is. She loves Jem but she is in love with Will. I think she accepted the engagement because she couldn't stand to hurt him and she wanted to make him happy but not because she is IN LOVE with him. However, she can't undo her decisions because it would not just break Jem's heart and even if she really does that she can still never be with Will. It would break Jem and Will's friendship. And it would be like a betrayal. Oh My Freaking Gahd. I just want everyone to be happy. I just want Will to have his Tess, Jem to get cured and live, Tessa to know what she really is and be with Will. But it doesn't seem so to be that easy. And sacrifices have to be made. Ughh.
Though most of the time I felt so emotional there are still parts that made me laugh, grin and happy. Charlotte and Henry's story was really cute and I really like it. It was so sweet and heartwarming. Sophie and Gideon's too. And I am sooo liking Gideon. Magnus too! Oh my! And that KISS! And those things he told to Camille. It was just so ridiculously funny! :)) And oh! The cliffhanger made me feel excited for the next book! But that would be an agonizing wait. :/
This book is a beautiful, awesome and heartbreaking read. Yeah, you're most likely to have gone mad after reading the story but still it was just so compelling and gripping you know its very much worth the hurt and wait. In the first place you wouldn't have a reaction like that if the story isn't wonderfully made and written. :))

I would just simply say this book is perfect. No more of those nuclear bombs of adjectives describing how great the book is, just simply perfect. Reading a final book of a series has always made me feel a little anxious, well of course I do get excited and giddy too, but there would always be the feeling that I might not get satisfied in the end, and surely its effects on me will be devastating. But thank goodness, Julie Kagawa knows how to make a proper ending, especially for such a great series.
While reading this book, I was like 'Oh god, Julie, how are you even able do this?' I was completely awe and amazed. There's something in her writing which always caught me, that always made me so much drawn to the story. Her imagination is just wow! By the way she wrapped this up, it left me very well contented and satisfied.
In this book, Ash and Puck traveled to find a way for Ash to be with Meghan in the Iron Realm. As they goes through their journey, they faced great physical, mental and emotional challenges, met companions they never thought would be coming and found realization within themselves.
One great thing about this book is I get to see Ash's side. His thoughts, his past, his wavering and vulnerable side. I was able to learn more of him here, see what he really was. I saw how he faced everything, how his thoughts dithered and faltered at times, how he hesitated with his decisions, how he took all those realizations. And also how he had overcome them.
The Ash and Puck team-up was also one of the high points of this book. Though there had always been tension between the two because of what had happened in the past, both had come into civil terms in this part of the series. I saw how their relationship was in the past and how the challenges and unexpected twist they faced through their journey affected it. Though, basically this is Ash's story, Puck really did shine in this book. And I think I saw a mending relationship in here. :))
The last part was in Meghan's point of view (Is this a spoiler? Haha!), oh well, I won't be saying anything but yeah, definitely this is a good part. I found myself on my way to the last part wishing that I could read the ending in Meghan's POV, and *tadaa!* Kagawa did it! Yay! The ending was ---:))!
And yeah, one more thing, I was so so touched, moved, awed, amazed on how Ash had fallen in love with Meghan. After knowing almost everything about him, from what he was and what he did in the past, it was kind of Wow! To think that this guy, this kind of guy fell in love with a girl and now he would definitely do anything and give up everything just to be with her. That was just really WOW! :)) (Yeah, wow. I can't find a word to describe it. Haha!)
This series will always remain in my heart! I will forever treasure this story. Thank you Julie Kagawa for creating such magic, I was totally devoured by your world.

This book is HELL SUPERB! Words aren't enough to describe how great this book is. I was very much astounded, impressed, and surprised. I had all kinds of emotion surging on me while reading this. Julie Kagawa never failed to impress me.
The story goes off after Ash and Meghan got exiled from the Nevernever. Learning that despite being an exile, the fake Iron King was still after her, Meghan decided to face them and do what she had to do to protect her family and love ones and as well as the whole of the Nevernever. This is a story about love, friendship, loyalty and faith. With its great world build-up and character development this is one hell of an epic story. :))
Okay, I really don't know how I should start this review. So much are coming on my mind and when I try to put them together, bam! I don't know which one to say first or how I am going to tell it. Suddenly I don't know how to express them, they are seriously overwhelming. So yeah, maybe let's just start with my say to each character in this book.
Meghan Chase. I love how her character developed in this book. She had always been protective over the people she loved and she would do everything to keep them safe. In this book she still is, but she had grown mature and wise. No more of the teenage mortal girl who only wanted her normal life and family in her mortal world. This time she had accepted what she is and what she had to do. She had her weakness and doubts but she was able to find a way to overcome them. Her decision and sacrifice at the last part was totally heart breaking (I cried at that part) but I know that she made a right decision and that was for the best.
Ash. I saw a lot more of his emotion in this part of the series. He had been more open in this book. Dude, I can see how much in love he is to Meghan and I got totally swooned. Everything he did was for Meghan and God, I had goosebumps when Meghan asked him to be her knight and he did the Oath.
"My name is Ashallyn'darkmyr Tallyn, third son of the Unseelie Court...Let it be known--from this day forth, I vow to protect Meghan Chase, daughter of the Summer King, with my sword, my honor, and my life. Her desires are mine. Her wishes are mine. Should even the world stand against her, my blade will be at her side. And should it fail to protect her, let my own existence be forfeit. This I swear, on my honor, my True Name, and my life. From this day on..." His voice went even softer, but I still heard it as though he whispered it into my ear. "I am yours."
This part was just really OH MY GOD. I couldn't breathe and I was as happy as Meghan was. This was one of the best parts. After the oath was also the first time he said 'I love you' directly to Meghan. Gahd, it felt like I was the one in love. And so when I reached the last part, It also felt like I got really heart broken. I cried. It was my birthday Eve and I was crying. I was crying for Ash and Meghan. I don't blame Meghan for making such decision, that was the right thing. But I admire Ash for what he did on the last part. He vowed that he will do everything, that he will never give up and he will find a way. And that made me a little relieved but still the effects of the last part did crushed my heart.
So yeah! I'm counting on you Ash! I'm almost at the half part of The Iron Knight and I know you'll make it. Don't let me fall. :))
Puck. The ever so funny, witty, hilarious Puck. Just like what I said on my previous review, he is a very respectable character. Despite being all comical, easy-going, sarcastic and funny, you know he is very loyal to Meghan and he respected and supported every decision she made. Even though she broke his heart and chose Ash over him. He has accepted it even though obviously he's still in love with her. He never left her side. And I have always respected him more and more with every Iron Fey book I read. He is definitely one of the characters I admire most in all the books I've read. :))
Grimalkin. Yeah, the smartest character in this book is a cat. Why? Because he's a cat. LOL. This cat though most of times is really intimidating and would suddenly vanished like poof, he never fail to come when he is needed most and always offer his help (well, of course there's a price but his price are reasonable, I think at least)
The last part of the book had me seriously twisted. LOL. I had felt a lot of emotions all at the same time. The twists and realizations were shocking and amazing. Kagawa really did a great job. So all in all, a million stars again for this book. Haha. Yeah, I'm serious. This book is magic. I highly recommend this! :))

When I saw the word "Imprinting" and then "Jacobson" I was like, Seriously? What is this? Twilight? LOL! Adding to that it was also sort of an insta-love. So normally, its not something I would really like but for some reasons I did like it and enjoyed it. Though sometimes it gets to be borderline too cheesy and sappy it was still a fun and sweet read. :))(less)

And why are there only 5 stars here to rate? I can give this book a million stars! OH MY GOD. Now I'm obsessed with this series. I don't know how to explain how much this book got me. I just love this. LOL. Its like magic. :))
Alright, as with the first book this sequel offered a lot of more exciting adventures, shocking twists and brilliant ideas. Ash became a traitor of his own court when he decided to take Meghan and bring him back to the Summer Court but also had put up his mind that they can't really be together. Also with the threat of the new Iron King and the stealing of the scepter everything had become more complicated.
A lot of times while reading this I caught myself holding my breath. Though I really had a lot of fun reading this book, things were really unpredictable and I can't help myself but to wonder and constantly worry. (Haha, I'm that kind of reader. I get emotionally attached to the character that I care for their relationship more than mine. LOL.) Especially with Ash and Meghan's relationship and then with Puck getting back to the seen and confessing. Yay, so yeah, though Puck was the other guy and I'm on Team Ash I didn't really got annoyed with him, in fact I was able to like him more in this book. He was the kind of character who doesn't push or force himself to the girl he likes. He seemed to understand and respect what Meghan was feeling for Ash and didn't go over the limits. He just wait and continued to be loyal to Meghan. And I respect him for that. He was really a wonderful character.
In this book, they also met Leanansidhe, the Queen of the Exiles. And I like her. Though, of course she sometimes was scary, I think, so far, she was the most generous faery I ever met (in this book). She was smart and wise, offering her help to Meghan to bring back the scepter and fight the Iron Fey even though she was an exile and doesn't really have to care for the Nevernever. She thought that it would also affect them badly if the Iron Fey won. The part I like the most with Leanansidhe was when she brought Meghan shopping and spa to have a full make over to disguise Meghan as an employee of SciCorp. She seemed to be more human that faery that time. ^^
Ironhorse had become also their friend and ally at this part. I was surprised when he vowed to protect Meghan with his life and to help them defeat the fake Iron king. I liked how he became really protective over Meghan and served her like she was his real princess. Sadly, he died sacrificing himself to save Meghan and saying in his last breath that it was an honor, saving his queen. I found that really touching since Ironhorse was an Iron Fey.
The last part was really WHOA~! Haha. They got the scepter and brought it back to Mab to stop the war between the Summer and Winter. However when Meghan gave it to Mab instead of being grateful and all she went being narrow minded and bitchy. God, I was really annoyed with her, she was a faery queen but had mind of a fly (well, I think in terms of being rational). But thankfully, Puck and Ash came with a proof that the Iron Fey was real and that Rowan was the real traitor. So Mab ,thankfully, believed and asked Ash to go back to the Unseelie court, become the heir of the throne and remove any connection from Meghan, however....he declined.(Yay! My heart was pounding really hard at this part)He told them he can't because he loved her. (And I just died at that part). I think I should stop here, I know no one reads this but just in case someone reads this I don't wanna spoil him/her the ending. So yeah, let's just it was ASDADAJKFFDJHFKAJAOE! :)))
A fun, gorgeous, wonderful read! Totally love this. Two thumbs up for Kagawa for doing such a magic! >:DDDD

Alright! I'm done. Whew~! It's been quite a long time since I got hooked up with something paranormal. :)) So okay, here's my review or rather my feelings about this book. ^^
This book is absolutely a good, awesome, outstanding read! I love everything! The characters, the concept, the events, the twist. Every turn of events kept me really interested and I read it nonstop.
I have been taking a little break from reading paranormal, urban fantasy kind of books, so lately I was all into chicklits, contemporary, realistic types of novel but right after I start reading Unearthly was then I realize that I so miss reading paranormal books. All through out I was feeling all giddy and excited, and my feet were getting really cold. That's what happens when I get soo excited over something. So yeah, this book was able to give me that kind of feeling which means it was really awesome I really got hooked up.
Clara, our heroine, was the kind of character which was easy to like. She knows what she is, accepts it and do what she has to do. She isn't the kind of heroine you get annoyed sometimes. She's really adorable and I love whenever she calls her brother, Jeffrey, 'baby brother'. Hahaha! Which I'm really so envious of her, I badly want a younger brother! And their relationship isn't the kind where they, most of the time, annoyed each other. And then there's Tucker and Christian. The two boys I'm so torn up to. LOL. Tucker was the rude-but-really-he-just-likes-you guy. He was the funny, cool, easy-going, rodeo guy. The type of guy who's easy to approach. While Christian was the good looking nice guy with the hero complex and as Wendy has said, the god-type guy. Someone not that easy to reach. But you know what's wrong with me? I personally like Christian more than Tucker. When obviously, Tucker's the hero. After I read the book I looked up for some reviews and read them. And it seems like I was the only one who was into Christian! OTL. Everyone were all like Team Tucker. But there still a lot the author has to reveal about Christian and I know there's something really big about him! So there's still some hope. Haha! Though I'm not really putting my hopes up but I'm not either putting my hopes down. So yeah, lets just see. I need Hallowed now! LOL. >:DD
Two thumbs up for this book! I definitely recommend this! ^^

Okay. I did enjoy reading this book. Though during the first part I was all annoyed with the hate and the Fury things. Haha. But as soon as they got over with it I was all like LLLOOOOVVVEEE! Haha! Anyhoo, it’s been quite a long time since I’ve read something about greek mythology so this one got me really interested. The modern Helen and Paris (Lucas) love story was really cool. And all the time I was reading I kept on wondering how they’re gonna work that out so I was like couldn’t stop reading and I so wanted to know already what’s gonna happen and then bam! The end. And I was like “What the..?! That’s it?” I didn’t know it was a series. (Goddamn you Eunice! You’re not reading!) Haha. Though it left me a bit frustrated I’ll still probably wait for the second book. I need to know what’s gonna happen! Hahah! Oh well. This sounds more like rant than a review! XD(less)

I can say that I enjoyed it, seeing the difference between Sean's POV and Jem's. (Yeah, I have a male POV fetish so I think if I have read the Darkness and Light I would be craving for more of this. I would be honest that the main reason that caught my interest to read this book was that I heard that there were quite a number of hot swoon-worthy guys in this one. Then I was surprised to learn that they were not just your typical gorgeous guys but also very cool people who have super natural powers that can control the elements! And so I was sold!
The characters were awesome and very fascinating. Becca Chandler was a very real and compassionate character. She did a poor decision in the past that made her flawed and vulnerable but still she faced and dealt it with her best. I didn't like her right away though but she eventually grew one me as the story went on and as I learned more of her. Chris Merrick on the other hand, I like right away! Haha! Although sometimes his reactions on some things were a bit offending but still he was a very good person, having his POV helps a lot understanding his character. Hunter, the first time I met him I was like, Uh-oh. Not that I find him bad, he was in fact a very kind and caring character but when he showed up I known there'd be love triangle coming and he'd be a threat! Haha! And I just can't seem to like him. Don't hate me alright, I saw all the good in him and I know lots of people loved him but I just...can't. The other Merrick brothers - Michael, Nick and Gabriel were all equally hot and sexy. Gabriel was funny and very fascinating, he's my personal favorite among the brothers.
What I enjoyed the most in this story was discovering each brother's elemental powers. I also had fun learning how it worked and how people get to have those abilities and stuffs. I was also moved by the relationship of the brothers especially after discovering what their family has been through. Growing up without parents who most understand their situation was hard. Brigid Kemmerer did very good job in handling and capturing the conflicts and issues within the relationship of the brothers. As for the love-triangle, worry not because it wasn't the kind that gives you headaches or had you pulling your hair out of your scalp. It was actually pretty good and I did quite enjoy most parts of it.
Storm was very entertaining and fun read, fast paced and action-packed. This book is more than just the boys (even though they were the main reason I read this), there's a lot more in this book that I'm sure you'll enjoy as much as you will enjoy the boys! LOL! Looking forward for the next book, Spark, because it's gonna be Gabriel's story! Yay! :))

I enjoyed this book so much. The concept was unique, cool, and creepy. And the mysteries made me really think and wonder a lot. The characters were great. Violet's unique ability was one of a kind, its cool but also really scary at the same time. Jay's an adorable and admirable character. I love how he had been protective and supportive to Violet. The writing was also really good. The creepy and spooky parts are very well written, you would really get thrilled.

This book is so much FUN! I love love love everything but most especially Samhain Corvus LaCroix! I tell you, I'm in love with this guy yeah, like I don't feel like that with most of the heroes I met. XD. Its like I met the guy version of Sophie Mercer (Hex Hall)! This dude made me all laughing from the first page to the last and even on worst situations. While this book offered lots of good humor it also gave a very good side of dark and paranormal stuffs.
I love reading books with male protags but I tend to be really picky about them. But when I heard that this gave off the same aura as White Cat, which is one of my favorite series with male lead, it definitely caught my interest. I'm not sure about it though when I started reading it but when Sam started using his smart-mouth, oh boy, I realized I gonna love it big time.
Sam's character is very appealing and admirable. I like how he talk about things and handle stuff, he knows who he is. Oh wait, no. He didn't know he's a necromancer before - more like he's honest about himself. He acts with no pretense and admits things he's capable of and what he's not. And most of all, he's smart-mouthed. His snide comments and witty comebacks had me all laughing out loud. His relationship with his friends - Ramon, Frank and Brooke - was also really adorable and funny. I love how much he cares for his love ones.
This is the book where you're gonna love almost all the characters in it. You'll definitely take notice with everyone even if they don't share much exposure. Ramon and Frank were loyal and very reliable friends. Brooke, I adore her so much! She's funny and definitely a strong character. Bridin, I thought when Sam met her she'll intimidate him but she didn't. She's actually sweet and very supportive but also a tough and brave character. Then Ashley too! I just really love that girl! Even the villain here, Douglas, is an interesting character.
The paranormal stuff is very entertaining and intriguing. I love the idea of hybrids, the were-hounds, the hybrid between werewolves and fey. I also think that what made Sam powerful is because he's also a hybrid between a witch and a necromancer. I'd love to discover more of these paranormal creatures and to see Sam's abilities develop on the next book. Oh yeah, and I'd like to see what's gonna happen between him and Brid! ^^
I highly recommend this book! This is a humorous and very enjoyable read with an interesting and amusing paranormal plot. I really had so much fun reading this! :))
