It's not really 4 stars but if It s the end of the series which I think it should be, it is deserved. Tavia n Chase were great characters. The Lucan dwellings as well as Jenna's dreams/memories were a bore. I adored the two main characters so went up from just 3 stars. I liked the ending too. Tavia is fierce!!!

The world building was excellent with the current state of shaky peace between humans and Breed. Lucan and the Order are still there and strong as ever along with their children. Now, the naughty girl I am dosent really know who to drool over; the fathers or the sons?!
As the story unfolds it starts to gain layers with a lively plot full of action and stunning reveals through out the book. However, all I really want to write about is the heroine.
Edge of Dawn should have been called "Mira the Fierce", so 5 stars for writing this character. Mira is a girl that sees light even if all the lights are out. She completely swept me in this book as a fierce, determined, fearless, stubborn, loyal, dedicated, beautiful and so very sweet, 29 year old blond warrior Breedmate who loves the way she does everything else; with absolute determination and no hold backs. She is a tortured character because of her gift, the way her life left her without parents and the way Kellan treated her 8 years ago. I found myself immersed in her desperation and I admire her courage to persevere. She has to be one of the finest characters I've read about in PNR. Bravo Ms. Adrian!
1 star for Kellan. I am not going to give much away for spoilers and because it's an ARC but I did not symphatize with him, did not like him, did not understand his reasoning whatsoever. In order words, I wanted him dead and gone from the first 25% but for Mira and her attachment to him I sort of bent and accepted this male for her.
In the bedroom this author doesn't fail and, as always, delivers hot and bloody coupling. XX/XXX bedroom heat!
Overall, this was one of my favorite books in this series packed with darkness, blood and backstabbing, just the way I like my PNR. The new kids on the block (aka. The warior's children and their comrades) are promising and new villans are completely unexpected. I think fans of Midnight Breed will love it.
Note I was recently disappointed with another series in which a heroine remained a child but was told to be an adult read. Note of thanks to the author for making Mira a grown up and allowing me to read a book from a perspective of a women and not a child.

Crave the Night was well on its way to 5 stars. I wrote a review once I read this book but put it off to post near thParanormal Romance with mild kink
Crave the Night was well on its way to 5 stars. I wrote a review once I read this book but put it off to post near the publication date. However, after my old PC crashed, it got lost in the ether, so I will do my best from what I remember now.
The chemistry between Nathan and Jordana was palpable. Both characters are very likable, the romantic tension was excellent, but the plot and the bedroom scenery lost me in the last 30% of the book.
We meet Nathan and Jordana in the previous books, so it was no surprise who the lady would be in Crave the Night. I was looking forward to getting to know Jordana and got a whole story which is great. However, I felt her story was very important and I would have liked to be dropped few clues along the way, so that the greatness of her situation, once revealed, would hit me harder. I guess I was missing a stronger foreshadowing element.
Nathan was introduced as a hottie who enjoys control and visits the “BDSM dens”. Once the four letter magic (BDSM) goes into a book, my inner deviant perks up and expects to read the bedroom scenery with at least sugar kink. I checked my highlights and the only thing there was light bondage and an Alpha male taking control in the bedroom, although, his not so gentle needs were mentioned several times. I thought he was gentle, caring and I failed to see his dark side. Bummer. Little bit of bondage does not make for a BDSM novel to me and I’d rather the Author did not mention BDSM. Getting a little kinky in the bedroom without saying all the big letter words works better.
Several, previously unknown, sups were introduced and it looks like the conflict will unfold as we progress with the series. I like!
Overall, although this installment was average for me (unlike Mira’s story which I thought was amazing), I enjoyed this book and I am so excited this series is ongoing. Its a fine PNR series for me and I look forward to reading more.
