(view spoiler)[WHAT THE FREAK. I really, really wished that they BOTH made it over the fence. Actually, when the part of them planning to run away to the Wilds and when Alex said that he thinks Lena's mom was alive came up, I mentally formed the whole story in my head: They find out that her mom is indeed alive with her father in the wild, and they successfully run away and live happily-ever-after. Actually, a part of me WANTED to believe that, but then the story would be too predictable, right? (hide spoiler)] That was what made this story so interesting: It seemed predictable. SO predictable that you start to form that predictable story in your head and read the story with that version of the ending stuck with you. Yet when you read it, Oliver makes sure she (sure, she lets you fantasize over the made up part for a few chapters) leaves a startling change of course of that thought to a whole new level. Then, the PLOT and CONFLICT caught my eye. When I first started reading, I thought to myself, LOVE is a disease? The thing - emotion - we fantasize over is a disease in this story? The refreshing feeling of the main conflict and the uniqueness of it, drove me in. Of course, there are some flaws to the book too (as there are to a lot of books, novels, series...etc. out there) First and foremost, I felt like as if the details were TOO detailed. I don't know if it is just me, but I am not particularly fond of long... not as interesting paragraphs. A lot of the time, the little details did not bring me in to the story (and I felt like the details could do more.. explaining (wondering if that is the right word) - the plot, character conflicts, and story were the main contributors that attracted my attention. Anywho, WOW. Actually, I thought there wasn't a sequel (or in this case series) after Delirium. So you can imagine my confused, some-what annoyed, pissed, and what-the-fu....reak-just-happened-here face after the ending. Ms. Oliver, you have no idea how grateful I was when I found out that there was a SERIES to Delirium. THANK YOU. ANYWAYS, Guys, hope you didn't press the "show spoiler" sign if you didn't read it. Go check out this book~! ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more

Okay I am just going to put this out there. Peeps, this post contains spoilers. I mean, MAJOR spoilers. Like HUGE spoilers that I just might as well type the whole book down. So, if you haven't read the book, DO NOT read this post. (Can't say I didn't warn you)
I cried. I seriously cried. Ms. Houck, if you can get this kind of emotion out of me from a book (and series) You must be one heck of an author (Not that I didn't notice it when I first read, Tiger's Curse 1 year ago.)
Okay now, let's talk about the book. I seriously LOVE it when authors do that cool look-into-the-future-thing in books. Maybe they'll somehow connect what happened in the beginning with the end, or connect the first book of the series with the last. In Tiger's Destiny Ms. Houck did that SO many times. In the Prologue, "Space and Time" I now found out that the person who "scanned the centuries as if the were books in a library" was Mr. Kadam. And the person he saved was Nilima. And this all happened when they were being attacked by Lokesh. But you don't know that until 7 chapters later when Mr. Kadam DIES. He DIES. Mr. Kadam, the first person we actually met when all of this started DIED. Our guide, mentor, father, grandfather, family, and comrade dies. And Lokesh (My little brother calls him Loki (Thor's brother) LOL) Killed him. That was when I first cried in this book. On the voyage to obtain the Rope Of Fire, Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan all went through a defiantly rough period. But the journey was really nothing compared to what was going to happen to them when they are facing Lokesh.
When I read the part when Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan jumped into the portal to the past, I thought Houck could've left it there. I would HATE for the cliff-hanger but I thought that it was like adding a different plot line to an already made story. Since there was so many thing happening when they jumped into the past, I seriously forgot how they obtain the Rope of Fire. ._.
However, I got to read how Durga was made, and how Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan all got involved. Kishan was Damon, Durga's tiger, and I saw how all of that came to be. "Seek Durga's prize. Four gifts, five sacrifices. One transformation. Beast becomes mortal." Four gifts - The Fruit, The Scarf, The Pearl Necklace, and The Rope of Fire Five Sacrifices - Ren giving up his memory of Kelsey to save her, Mr. Kadam giving up his life to send Lokesh into the past, Kelsey giving herself up for the Phoenix as a Sati Wife, Kishan giving up a piece of his immortality to save Ren's life. I cried/teared up at every one of these sacrifices, but the last one really killed me (Although I KNOW that this is a work of fiction) "Durga needs a tiger" and Kishan is that tiger. One transformation - Ren Beast becomes mortal - Ren
All these things happened that touched my heart and more. But the end. Gosh, the end. Ren and Kelsey gets married. MARRIED. It was really sweet and cute, but I couldn't help but feel VERY sad that Mr. Kadam wasn't there to walk her down the aisle, and Kishan there to smile and clap for them.
Also, in one of the previous books when the three of them met the Ocean teacher, the teacher gave them a scroll and he said not to read it until the 5th sacrifice has been made. It was sad, yet very interesting to see that, that scroll was a letter from Kishan. Since Kishan was left behind in the past and Ren and Kelsey moved on in the future, Kishan (from the past) wrote a letter to them and the ocean teacher had had it for all these years. That was another example of one of those awesome look-into-the-future moments. I loved to sit there and think, "OHHH I get it!!"
I can't help but think that after 2 years of completing the 4 quests, Durga knew exactly who Kelsey was before and....... AH. It's hard to write down, but it makes perfect sense in my head.. xD Oh well, the person reading this SUPPOSED to read the book before they come to this review, so they know what I am talking about.
All in all, this book was AMAZING. Very emotional, and kept me on my toes all the time.
I can't help but wonder what Tiger's Dream will be about. They finished their quests and defeated Lokesh, what will happen next? Find out in 2013
Edited: I just read a review by Official Oceana, and I actually agree with her. The first 2-3 books were AMAZING. But I can defiantly see the changes in character. Kelsey became really... weak. I guess. Some parts of her became strong, but she is weak at the same time. I also thought that the plot was kinda.. Blah. It was everywhere. At times, emotional times, I would cry. But other times, I would be confused, or wondering what just happened.
Also, I really felt bad for Kishan. He stuck to Kelsey. However, no matter how many times he prove to her that he loves her, and will never stop, she still,... BlAHH I can't word it. At times she would be very selfless but other times (like with Kishan) she would be extreamly selffish...
Another point I would also like to make is that, Ren, and Kelsey gets engaged and married around a WEEK after leaving Kishan and Durga... Um... Isn't that kinda messed up? I kinda looked at that chapter and thought it was weird, Offical Oceana didn't have to help me see THAT... This book defiantly had its moments. But i guess Colleen Houck has to make some..... Adjustments?
After all this, I am curious on what the last book will be like. :) (hide spoiler)]
OHH, I also have an Indian friend (he goes on my bus to school) and his name is Kishan xD LOL But he's not really like Kishan from this book.. Actually, I think he is quite the opposite, but they do have similar quailites :D["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more

My gosh.... I really enjoyed the first one, Goddess Test, and Goddess Hunt. But this one.... It really got mINDESCRIBABLE...
***MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS***
My gosh.... I really enjoyed the first one, Goddess Test, and Goddess Hunt. But this one.... It really got me captivated and wanting for more. It was so detailed; i could see, touch, FEEL everything Kate, Henry, James, Diana, Ava, and Everyone was going through.
Whenever Kate felt like her world was shattered, mine was right after hers. Whenever she felt so happy, (which doesn't really happen that much in this book) I had a smile on my face.
However, sometimes Kate got me REALLY annoyed... She cried a little too much, and i guess she expected too much from Henry, but then again, i can't blame her... He's her HUSBAND for crying out loud.. I don't know. She just got me really annoyed and felt like i wanted to actually go up to her and punch her for doing what she did.. ._.;
But at other times, she was really brave. and when she was really sad, Especially when she saw (view spoiler)[Henry and Persephone kiss (hide spoiler)], i really wanted to go to her and hug her and comfort her...
Henry also got on my nerves.. I mean i cant blame him for being who he is, but can't he give a little bit more.. Affection for Kate? (view spoiler)[And especially with Persephone.. (hide spoiler)]
God, Persephone... At first, i thought she was a bitch.. (excuse me for my language... ^^;) Don't get me wrong. I STILL think she is a bitch, but some of my hatred kinda rubbed off after i heard her part of the story. (Haha. (view spoiler)[I groaned when James said that the only other person that knows how to get to the gate was Persephone... everything, from getting to the gate to the trouble between Henry and Kate, it all revolves around Persephone... (hide spoiler)])
Calliope was, still, and always will be, a efen bitch. No other words to it.
James. I feel sorry for him. That is all I am going to say. "I'm sorry James."
Now the end. God, the end. I. Still. Cannot. Stop. Thinking. About. The. END.
*** ANOTHER WARNING. THIS PART OFFICIALLY CONTAINS SPOILERS ***
(view spoiler)[REALLY? I mean, pregnant? REALLY? Why couldn't Calliope just, I DON'T KNOW, Turn Kate into a Cow or something? PREGNANT?!?! yet ANOTHER REASON that i officially DETEST Calliope. Can she get anymore... URGH.. FRUSTRATING...
I am serious.. I CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER YEAR TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN...
I was also heart-broken when Henry found out.. (Excerpt) He waited and waited for 3 seasons (9 months) and finally found out that during all that time, Kate was captured while having a baby in her stomach... AVA. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU BETRAYED HER. I can just imagine what Henry is going to do, but I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS! (hide spoiler)]
Overall, the book was AMAZING. The end left a GIANT cliffhanger. If i don't know what happens, like TODAY, then i probably would jump off that cliff to just know.. (of course i am just joking, but you get the point xD) URGH...........................................
CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER YEAR AT ALL...["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more
