Unlike some of the other books that didn’t really do as much to hold and capture my interest, the emotion in this story was palpable and I couldn’t make myself stop reading. How can your heart not melt a little when the hero of the story loves the heroine so much, that he admit he wants the best for her, even if it’s not him? It’s pure love at its best and I enjoyed it thoroughly."

Ms. Camp had added twists, interesting secondary characters, and wonderful dialogue to set this story apart. It is delicious at times and enjoyable and age doesn’t diminish that fact."

It is nice reading about a woman who knows a word with more than two syllables and doesn’t sound pretentious at the same time. The plot twists, while a tad predictable were well written. And while the PMT is a bit distracting, it’s Laura’s humor, heartbreak, and zeal for what’s right, that make this story a good one."

While Cinderella and Snow White had woodland creatures, fairy godmothers, dwarves, and spells, Olivia and Quin simply had hope and each other. The Duke Is Mine definitely gives a touching human side to a fairy tale but provides just as much magic."

You have a very rich and handsome businessman randomly meeting the poor but kindhearted teacher and falling head over heels in love with her. What woman doesn’t want that??? It’s simply a modern day fairy tale, something sweet and nice to dream and hope for."

It just focused so much on Jenny wanting to make a relationship between them work while Jason kept putting her off and not giving her a real reason why beyond that she deserved better. The truth, when it was revealed, made me think, “That’s it? That’s the reason you pushed the love of your life away?” And as nice as the premiss of the story was, with an alpha who thought he didn’t deserve the love of a good woman, it didn’t have much of a plot beyond that."

In fact some of the details in the story were actually quite interesting to read about and they were done subtly enough that people might not even realize they’re learning something new. So while it may not be the next great romance, for a first time writer, Ms. Lane is definitely on the right track."

This is an erotic novella so it is a shorter and quicker read. It does however give you a good taste of the writing style of the author and personally made me wish I had more to read about the two main characters. Now, while Jenna makes for a so-so heroine, David Bennett is what makes this story worth while. As I implied before, he not only mastered in the bedroom, he simply dominated the whole story. For it’s price on the Kindle, I’d say it’s worth it just to read about David."

I always appreciate strong, intelligent heroines, and Savannah most definitely surpass that... the dialogue is witty and hilarious. Savannah is a riot (pun intended). For sure, dear readers, you will find this novel entertaining too, and I do recommend it."

Even the various twists at the end added to the appeal of the whole tale. With Never Miss A Chance added to the table, I think it’s safe to say that Ms. Driscoll knows how to write as well as keep her readers interested in any future love stories that have yet to be told."

Ten Things I Love About You, however, is not one of those books. It’s a sweet and pleasing story and the characters are all likable enough. But if I was to compare this story to many of her others, or for that matter, many other romance novels, it’s like the difference between a made for TV romantic comedy with decent albeit not Oscar worthy performances, verses a hit released in theaters starring two A-list actors."

And truth be told, Ms. Driscoll did just that. Never A Mistress, No Longer A Maid was quite riveting and I found myself charmed by its story."

Which, of course, is great, because that makes Wicked Nights With A Lover stand out. There is no Duke who meets a young impoverish and plain spoken lady and then they fall in love. It’s a young nurse who meets a man who worked to get to where he is in life. Add the unfortunate fortune and you’ve probably got one of the more unique storylines for a historical romance novel."

I started Just Like Heaven thinking I would read a few pages before bed only to find that I couldn’t put the book down. It is funny and sweet in all the right places. Who knew mole holes and laudanum could be so amusing? The humor in this read was actually very clever as well as entertaining. It totally drew me into the story and I didn’t want to get out."

I found I actually enjoyed reading about the love between Gwendolyn and Alec more than I did about Neill and Kate or Hugh and Georgie. But one story without the other two would simply be incomplete. I know I mentioned it once, but it is worth repeating -the stories in this book flow so well that The Lady Most Likely definitely should be recognized as a title worth reading."

Not to say that the writing wasn’t well done, I just couldn’t find a way to immerse myself in the story. Many times I felt the urge to just skip to the end. And that’s not how a book should be read. A reader should look forward to each and every word and I just didn’t find that with Scandal of the Year."

This story has proven to me that while spies may need love and romance too, it can be done well, and not in a cheesy highly predictable manner, but a classy one. I enjoyed reading Distracting the Duchess and have no doubt others will too."

After Dark With A Scoundrel has made me want to look up the other books in the Lords of Vice series as well so I can read them to tide me over while I anxiously await the next book in the series. Consider it officially on the must keep shelf."

Teresa Morgan has a way of drawing you into the story and making you feel like you are actually a part of it. Indeed, this courtesan looks forward to seeing what the author has in store for her next book."

There were times I really liked it and times where I said, 'Hold up, really?' The book is made of quick chapters that are written from each sister’s perspective, the most of them being through Cadence’s point of view as she is the main and normal one of the three. Now while Ms. Davidson does well articulating and differentiating between each characters’ point of view, it can still get a little confusing as the chapters seem to hop quickly from one to the next."

As this is just the beginning of the Impossible Bachelor series, this courtesan has to recommend When Harry Met Molly as a must read since the romance is utterly enchanting and there are parts which made her laugh out loud."

It doesn’t have a bunch of detractors to distract you from the tale of two people who met and fell in love. Indeed, this book will remind you of the crazy things people will do when they feel the first flutters of attraction. It is a funny, simple and sweet love story and it deserves a place on the 'for keeps' shelf."

It was probably the highlight of the whole story -for this courtesan anyway. Their quick responses to each other was, while obvious, still humorous and sweet, as I am sure many passionate love interests in real life started with a love/hate relationship such as theirs. We all know it only takes a spark to light a fire and it was nice to see the sparks and eventual blaze in Leo and Catherine."

Does that mean that I am not looking forward to the next story in the series? Not at all... I am still keeping my eye on Ms. MacLean’s future titles. I have no doubt she is still an author to pay attention to."
