It is mainly about Noah, a guy who has been through a lot. He was abused and then kicked out by his parents as a teen, became a single dad not much later and is now raising his daughter and doing okay. Unfortunately, his daughter has an illness that will require a very expensive surgery.
Pierce is the brother of Francis, the owner of the BDSM club. Pierce meets Noah at the club while Noah is subbing for one of the more sadistic Doms, Richard. Richard convinces Pierce to participate in a “scene” with them. Pierce is not completely comfortable at various times with the way things are going but he goes through with it anyway. It isn’t until the two meet by chance outside the club that Pierce finds out who the real Noah is which is far from the sub he was at the club. The two become friends and eventually more, though it takes some doing to convince Noah he can let someone else in.
The one thing that didn’t feel quite right here was that obviously Noah had some pretty deep issues. Pierce is convinced by his brother, Francis, that Pierce needs to help Noah by using dom/sub tactics, which doesn’t go very well at all. Francis ends up helping more in the end, but these two are never really dom/sub.
As I said earlier, this ended up being rather sweet. Pierce is there for Noah, even after things happen that separate them, and it was nice to see their little family come together. While this story was a bit choppy in parts, it moves along at a pretty good pace, leaving me eager to jump into the next one to see where things would go for them all. It’s a nice start to the series though, and I’m looking forward to the next installment....more

Malcolm is still feeling guilty over the loss of his sub whom he feels he pushed toward the dom who actually was a serial killer that murdered him. He best friend finally gets him to see how misplaced his guilt is and convinces him to go back to the club scene. It just so happens to fall on the night of a charity sub auction.
This is where Malcolm meets Kyle, a sweet sub that calls to him immediately. Kyle doesn’t have a ton of experience, and what he has isn’t the best. But he quickly sees Malcolm isn’t like his previous Doms and longs for more than just one night. These guys are really sweet together and exactly what each other needs. Kyle has a lot of things to overcome, such as his general feeling of unworth that has been growing for some time. His parents care more about status and image than anything else and are cold to say the least. Unfortunately, they own his condo and the car he drives, so he is somewhat forced to remain closeted where they are concerned for fear of losing it all.
Malcolm works hard to gain Kyle’s trust in the bedroom and out. Their relationship grows and does well until outside issues set them back. They share more of a total D/S relationship, meaning more 24/7 than just playing, although it is made clear Malcolm wants to know Kyle as much, if not more, than the sub. I really enjoyed these guys together and the story moved along at an easy and enjoyable pace. If you like sweet BDSM stories, this one definitely fits that bill. The story focuses on building their relationship and trust with lovely “vanilla” scenes intermingled with the interesting and sometimes intense BDSM scenes.
This was a lovely story about submission and finding compatible love and I definitely recommend it. ...more

So, the blurb pretty much tells this story in a nutshell. When Milo passes the interview, he is introduced to veteran Sullivan and they end up doing a scene together to break Milo in. The scene is intense with no sex involved, but instead, Sullivan brings Milo to the edge and back again numerous times. The two share a great chemistry, and Milo wants more. Sullivan is hesitant given their age difference and realities of their jobs, but he eventually gives in and offers to help take Milo the rest of the way.
I honestly really liked where this story was going. What is there is really good, but unfortunately, it ends before it really gets started. I wanted so much more of these two and really wanted to see how they worked out. This felt like the first chapter in a serial story, and I was left wanting but with no relief in sight. Makes it easy to imagine how Milo felt at the end of his scene. :D
I’m really hoping there will be more to this story, and if there is, I’ll be ready to jump right back in. ...more
What a delightful little visit with Ori and Reynard! Everything I loved about these two is brought right back to life in A review by The Blogger Girls.
What a delightful little visit with Ori and Reynard! Everything I loved about these two is brought right back to life in this short glimpse into life in the nest as Ori adjusts to his new status. He is just as sweet and eager to please though he harbors many doubts about Reynard actually wanting a swan.
Raynard steps up to the plate making Oli’s birthday a special event and quashing any doubts he may have now or in the future. He’s ever protective and dominant over Ori whether in human or avian form and I loved seeing them in both.
This was a really short but super sweet little update on how these guys are making out since Duck! I’m definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series to see where things go from here. ...more
This story is about Brian, a guy who seemed to have it all and his life happy where he wants it. Then, Morgan, th 3.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.
This story is about Brian, a guy who seemed to have it all and his life happy where he wants it. Then, Morgan, the guy he loved but who up and left him without so much as a word two years prior, shows up asking for a second chance.
When the story begins, Brian is in a sort of relationship with Pez. It seems they share a mostly D/S relationship, but there are obviously feelings there on both sides that neither have shared for different reasons. Knowing Brian was in love with Morgan at one time, and most likely still is, Pez pushes Brian to give Morgan a second chance and he walks away.
The positive thing here is that Brian doesn’t just take Morgan right back, he makes him work for it and really earn his way back in. While this is going on, we see a lot of Brian at work, which was quite interesting, as he is a counselor at a women’s prison, and there were quite a few characters and things going on there that I’d have liked to see more of.
I never really warmed up to Brian and Morgan together. Maybe that is due to not really getting to see much of them in an actual relationship. We see a lot of Brian being dominant and controlling Morgan through his penance. Morgan seems a bit whiny and self-centered. He knows he screwed up and is willing to do anything to make it up to Brian. Neither really grabbed a hold of me.
Pez, on the other hand… I adored what little we saw of him. I found myself turning pages just in the hopes of seeing more of him. He took the high road and let Brian go, hurting himself in the process. He seems to be the opposite of Morgan in many ways. He goes on a bit of a bender and really doesn’t seem to be in a very good place at the moment. Brian still has feelings for him and realizes he loves both men. I really hope Brian can catch up to him in time to make things better.
This is the start of a series, and I’m really looking forward to the next one to see how things pan out. I’m hoping to see a little more in the way of actual relationships between these guys, and if Brian can bring Pez into his and Morgan’s relationship, how he will manage two subs at once, how the two subs will handle competing for the attention of Brian, etc.
The story moves along at a good pace in some aspects, but in others, not so much. There are a lot of reminders of what happened two years ago, which seemed a little repetitive, but with this being the first book, I’m thinking of this as the background/build up and am expecting the next one to really take hold. ...more
It doesn’t take long to be reminded of the things I loved from the previous book. Day is still recovering, and i 4.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.
It doesn’t take long to be reminded of the things I loved from the previous book. Day is still recovering, and it seems Knight has kept his distance since they returned from the mission. It doesn’t last too long though when they are paired up once again on another mission. If nothing else, they both agree they make good partners.
It also doesn’t take long for their chemistry to bring their feelings right back to the level they were on the cruise. This time, they are trying to track down some stolen art that they need to find before the Russians find it. Going on the written confession of an old salt miner who claimed he hid important pieces of art rather than destroy them when Hitler gave the order. So, they are on an adventure of sorts, tracking down clues to the possible location of the missing art. Unfortunately, the Russians are on the same mission, hoping to use it as a tool in their relations with Poland.
At first, this mission seemed a little far fetched and hard to believe it garnered enough importance to require these guys to be involved. But, it doesn’t take long for it to become more clear, exciting and quite interesting and something I ended up really enjoying about this story. Back to the guys though. They really do make quite a good pair. Knight is still wishy washy over his feelings for Day, mostly due to his continued guilt over the loss of his family. He pulls Day in, then pushes him away. But, Day continues to all him out on things and doesn’t let him get away with anything, forcing him to be clear about his feelings. Again, I loved the way Day handled Knight through his various moods and issues. Through it all, they had each other’s backs when it mattered.
This story moved along at a consistent pace throughout, whether the guys were holed up somewhere or on the run. They have great dialog, are funny and sexy, and I really enjoy watching them together. I’m definitely a fan and look forward to seeing the next phase of their relationship and what the next mission brings....more
This starts out rather interesting with Cabe sent on one last mission before he’s finally done with the business. 3.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.
This starts out rather interesting with Cabe sent on one last mission before he’s finally done with the business. Unfortunately, the mission involves the man he worked with previously and with whom he had a previous relationship. This same man ended that relationship when he tried to kill Cabe leaving him stunned to say the least.
Anyhoo, they meet back up where the two dance around truths and lies both past and present, but the undeniable attraction between them is still strong. Brax tries to use this to buy him time to convince Cabe of what really happened. There were so many details involving this that didn’t totally add up here that it was just really hard to believe most of it. There is a ton of mystery and miscommunication going on here both with what happened to their relationship previously and who is after them now. It all ties in, and we are given clues little by little about both.
This was a really quick read, and these two alpha guys are definitely hot together and even rather funny at times. If you can set aside the unbelievables, you’ll find this sexy story rather exciting. This is my first read by Ms. Dimon, and I’ll definitely be looking for her in the future. ...more
Leo Gale has been an agent for about 10 years, deeply undercover for a year and a half. He is just about convinced his cA review by The Blogger Girls.
Leo Gale has been an agent for about 10 years, deeply undercover for a year and a half. He is just about convinced his cover is blown when, in fact, he is actually being promoted to the position of procurement and processing of the sex trafficking ring. Still believing he is close to being in trouble, he calls his handlers for some help.
This is where Julian comes in. He’s barely out of school, interning for the FBI hoping it will be a step in the right direction to becoming an agent. He is on the path to be an analyst, but he has the exact look they need for the operation and hope his inexperience will actually help him play the part as well. He is sent in as bait to be picked up as merchandise.
These guys face a lot of struggles keeping up the charade. Julian must endure beatings and forced sexual situations the likes of which he hadn’t fully contemplated. After it became apparent Leo needed him there for more than the few days he thought it would take, Julian’s contact with the other victims and hatred for those in charge, made his decision to stick it out pretty easy.
These guys had an attraction right away – was it just the excitement, fear and adrenalin rush of the job which forced them together, or was there something more? Is their age gap an issue? Will Julian eventually run off with someone younger, as Leo believes? They carry out the job the best they can and are then faced with those questions and a few more, in addition to dealing with the aftermath of the operation.
A majority of this story takes place during the operation where they continue to try and obtain enough evidence to take it all down. Once it is over, the story jumps 2 years, of which the guys are apart and not speaking. I really would have liked to know more about what happened with Julian during this time, his recovery, etc. At the end, I was still not convinced it wasn’t the job that sparked their mutual desire, but was happy to see they were both willing to give it a go and see how things went. Julian is off for six months of training, so it will be a while before they can actually put this plan into action. I’d say they are happy for now.
I found this to be a quick read. There are POV changes that took me a second to realize who was speaking, but all in all, I had no trouble following along. There are beatings, and medical scenes along with the forced sexual situations, and while the first two were pretty well detailed, the last not so much. I found I wanted more details of what Julian went through, but that might make it easier for some to handle. I’m looking forward to seeing where these guys go from here and eagerly await the next installment. ...more
This is the much anticipated continuation and final installment of Kage and Jamie’s story. Wow, what a ride. Not only did Review by The Blogger Girls.
This is the much anticipated continuation and final installment of Kage and Jamie’s story. Wow, what a ride. Not only did this not disappoint, but it was my favorite of the three. I have to say that the smoking hot covers on these stories perfectly depict the image of Kage in my mind.
This picks up where the last one left us hanging with the guys reuniting despite Evil Uncle Santori’s attempts to break them apart. They realize just to what lengths he has gone to do so, blocking their phone numbers from each other, planting incriminating evidence of cheating, etc. Once they get past these realizations, they find themselves in the midst of Jamie’s friends/roommates where they still have the same issue of Jamie believing they need to keep their relationship a secret. Lessons are learned though, especially after what went down previously at Jamie’s parents with trying to hide.
While their feelings/relationship seems to be on the mend, there are still Kage’s dark secrets/dreams that are laying just below the surface. My heart broke for Kage as we finally learned the truth behind his issues and trama. This was finally brought to a head when a kinky sex activity triggered Kage’s PTSD.
There was a lot of resolution in this installment. Some good, some sad, yet necessary for a future to be possible. I loved this rollercoaster ride of a story. Kage is a hardened man, trained from a child to fight and win, with an even more difficult childhood and little in the way of people actually caring about him. It was amazing to watch Jamie break through Kage’s barriers seemingly without even trying. Their relationship was explosive both in bed and out but it was just perfect. They were so right for each other and it showed in so many ways.
Knowing this was the final installment, I wanted to take my time, but it was so difficult, as it had me on the edge of my seat, first with the super hot sex, then with the mystery and excitement of what would happen and how they would make it through to the end. When I got there, I was completely sated, yet still wanted more. This is a fast-paced read, but it is so very well written. The dialog and story just flows. I was definitely not ready to say goodbye to these guys, and the feelings I had when I was finished left no doubt in my mind that this easily deserves 5 stars. This is not a fluffy love story – these guys have some major issues to overcome, but if that type of story interests you, I highly recommend you sit down and gobble this trilogy up. ...more

Ruben is a recovering alcoholic, recently divorced who moved to NYC from Miami to restart his life. He works for his brother’s security company as a bodyguard. He takes a job as security for rich guy, Andy, in what appears to be a made up job. He’s essentially hired to be Andy’s muscle, yet there doesn’t actually seem to be a real threat, until there is. But there is so much fishy going on here that you can almost smell it. Regardless, Ruben goes along with the job continuing to search for clues to the truth.
Unfortunately, I struggled to get into this story. I had trouble warming up to Ruben for most of this story. He’s a recovering alcoholic with not a whole lot of positives in his life at the moment. He also continuously plays up the big mean looking Cuban aspect which got a little tiresome. Then there is Andy. I never really got a feel for him either, though in a different way. He almost seemed like he had multiple personalities. He was ruthless when it comes to work, rich sophisticated guy when it comes to being in public, but acts like a teenager in private. He is shady as all get out. Add to that the wishy washy business about what was going on, and I was pretty frustrated.
Then there is the straight but curious aspect which I actually enjoyed. It took a while for them to finally make moves, but once they did, their explorations were really good. There was some great dirty talk, although it sometimes seemed to be a little too much.
There was some mystery/suspense involving what was really going on with Andy which finally did play out at the end. In the end, I was turning pages just to finally get some answers. I felt like I knew how Ruben felt with not being able to figure things out and being confused about what was going on, who were the actual bad guys, etc. While I didn’t love all aspects of this story, it did pick up the pace and lure me in giving me the extra push I needed to make it across the finish line. ...more
The story of Jimmy McSwain continues in this book, which picks up not long after Hidden Identity ended. The hunt 4.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.
The story of Jimmy McSwain continues in this book, which picks up not long after Hidden Identity ended. The hunt for his father’s killer is always present, but he works to solve some other cases in the meantime. This time around, he is sort of thrown into a case when on a stakeout for his sister who believes her boyfriend is cheating, he ends up at the scene of a crime where nothing is cut and dry. The cops have their suspect, but Jimmy believes he is innocent, having been there at the time of the incident. He must now find a way to prove them wrong and free a seemingly innocent man. At the same time, there are other shootings going on that Jimmy believes mirror his own father’s and he tries desperately to connect the dots.
Jimmy has totally grown on me. I really love his quick wit and snappy comebacks, his total sexiness and even his vulnerability. All of this shines through in his work and his play, which, as was alluded to in the first book, involves the uber sexy Capt. Frisano. Unfortunately, it seems these two have no chance at anything beyond their hot hookups, which is a shame, but totally believable. This is a story that seems more about Jimmy and his mystery solving and not so much into his finding love and romance. With that being said, there is still some hot sex that never left me feeling like something was missing. Yes, I’d like to see Jimmy find someone to be happy with, but the way this story reads, I was content to wait it out and see what comes next. With things cooling down with Capt. Frisano, and the upcoming return of Jimmy’s ex (the only other guy besides Capt. Frisano to really get to Jimmy), the next installment should be quite interesting.
This story takes place in NYC, where Jimmy lives. If you are at all familiar with the area, you’ll find it fun to follow Jimmy’s footsteps as he makes his way around the City looking for clues, etc. It will difficult not to be on the lookout for the Dress-Up Club and Paddy’s Pub the next time I’m there and wishing I could run into Jimmy McSwain.
If you want a really enjoyable gripping whodunit mystery, be sure to give this series a try. It’s a fast-reading tale that moves along at a great pace, with colorful characters and interesting twists. I’m definitely a fan and am really looking forward to the next one. ...more

This is the story about a centuries old powerful vampire who believes in a legend (Iunctiō Cōpula) that finding his true mate will bring him to life, so to speak; that his heart will beat again, he will feel warmth, taste, etc. He believes his mate is Cisco, but keeps his distance watching over Cisco until he is of age.
Cisco remembers seeing Max all those years ago, knows there is a powerful pull to him and waits until he is old enough before seeking him out at Max’s club, Wicked Grounds. He has no clue what he is getting into, just that he knows he needs to be with Max and will do anything to make that happen.
I had a difficult time with this story. I think the hardest for me was believing such an old and experienced vampire would have anything in common with a naïve teenager. This was apparent to me throughout the story and made Cisco appear as nothing more than Max’s pet. Cisco tries so hard to be the perfect sub, but he has little to no guidance and is thrown into things very quickly. I loved poor Cisco, but wish he had some stronger more positive adult influence in his life.
Max, on the other hand, drove me nuts. He was so concerned with the legend and his need to find out more before taking action in case he did something wrong or out of order that he refused to even so much as feed from Cisco, thus leaving him basically unclaimed and more open to attack.
There are some really great side characters here, and I’d love to see more of them in the future. Angelo was very intriguing, and I think a story with him and possibly Cisco’s bestie, Benny could be quite interesting. This is definitely an interesting world that Ms. Peterson has created with many possibilities. While this one didn’t wow me, I am still looking forward to the next one to see where things go from here. ...more
