FroHello to Heather Gray, where has this book been all my life?!? I loved this story so much! It had a life of its own and the story was so engaging. From one page to the next, I could never be sure what was going to happen or what new secret or tidbit would be revealed. Queen and Owen were jump off the page characters with intriguing personalities! This book consumed my thoughts and I stayed up until the wee hours to finish it. Gray weaves a regency tale like no other! Romance, cloak and dagger, secret agents, and mystery....I couldn't get enough of it! Pick this book up, read it, you will not be sorry!
Side note: I have not read the first two books in the series and I found this completely fine as a stand alone novel.
Rating: Clean romance

This is a shorter book (120 something pages) with a fun storyline that drew my interest right away! Vivi and Bass are the main characters; I loved Vivi's vibrant personality and Bass was such a sweet and caring guy! The story is so fun and the scenes with Vivi's family are one of a kind (not necessarily the good kind either)! I loved Wulf and the role he played too! Okay so just go get the book and read it for yourself! It is a fun yet emotional story you won't want to miss out on!
Rating: A few cuss words, a few references to sex and one mention of the male anatomically correct part. Overall a clean romance with no sexual scenes....more

My eyes were burning by the time I read The End. I love the characters that Lewter has created. They were real and relatable, well except for the gifted part! Blending reality with fantasy, the gifted race of Valens is one I cannot stop thinking about. I need more of Nicholas, Miles and Abby! A bonus for this reader is that the supporting characters were just as interesting as the main characters, especially Navi and Damien. When all is said and done I am itching to get my hands on the next book! Seriously this girl needs the rest of the story! A YA novel you won't soon forget, Gifted will grab your attention and hold it until the very last word! I received a copy of this book for free, all thoughts and opinions are my own....more

It is full of so many different emotions, from laughter to tears, from fear to love! This book covers it all and I couldn't put it down! It is so different with the zombie/ghost craziness and the story has this pull that I could not resist! The dynamic between all of the characters was realistic and I laughed so hard at parts there were tears in my eyes. Then in turn there were parts where I had tears from sadness. There is plenty of action in it too and the story played out nothing like I imagined! It was pure awesomeness and I cannot wait for a second book like this one! See Me is one YA paranormal book that any teenager or one at heart will not want to miss! Hatler continues to amaze me with her ability to write any genre that pulls me in hook, line and sinker! Lord Lofton shows how much he has changed and for the better and we get a chance to really know Cecilia and her sweet personality. I loved the mix of old and new characters! Uncle Percy was my favorite and I would love to see him in a future book. He is wise, eccentric and honest; what a great character! Once again Hartman has written a fun and charming book that would appeal to the majority of readers! If you want romance, fun, and a little bit of crazy all set in England, this is the book to read! I really loved the first book in this series and the second was just as good! In book two we get to learn and understand all about Noah, EmmMy Review:
I really loved the first book in this series and the second was just as good! In book two we get to learn and understand all about Noah, Emma's brother and father of her two adorable nieces! Anderson does a spot on job of intertwining the two siblings' worlds and moving from Emma's story to Noah's. While Cassie was a wild card, an unknown to me as the reader, getting to know her and understand the depth of her emotions was a wonderful journey. I loved this story for so many reasons! Because it is about second chances, learning to trust again, trying to figure out who you are and that trying to do all of those things isn't easy. In fact, it is much easier said than done. The story is so close to how I imagine it would be if these characters actually existed!!! Anderson is an amazing storyteller who captivates my attention and holds until the very last word!...more

She gets a lucky break and makes it as the new co-host on the home improvement show, Home Matters. Olivia finds herself torn between her dreams of dating a famous celebrity and these sparks that are flying with the head contractor on the show. Will Olivia learn to trust her heart or will she follow what she has always dreamed of? What would you do if what you had always dreamed of and what you end up wanting are two completely different things? I enjoyed the setting for the show, it reminded me of one of my favorite shows on TV. Olivia and the two leading men in her life are quite entertaining yet gave me pause to consider what is really important. A fun and fast read, Home Matters will leave you with a smile on your face!
Silver Linings is about Drew Westfall who we briefly met in the first met in Home Matters, book one of the Ripple Effect series. Drew decided that money isn't as important as people so he gave away his $20 million dollar trust fund and goes to live with his friend Jace in Bridger, Colorado. I love how Drew first meets Eden and then I was so bummed to realize she was Jace's girlfriend! The mutual friendship and respect between Eden and Drew is great, but the chemistry between them is amazing and they hadn't even kissed! Wow I just wanted them to kiss already! There is more to Silver Linings than meets the eye! I loved the residents of the assisted living home and their antics! Each one of them made me smile and laugh! Drew makes an amazing change in his lifestyle and I love how he learned to help and take care of others. His transformation is wonderful to watch and the end result of the book left me with a big smile on my face! Rating: Clean/Sweet
This is the third novella in a series of six. This time we get to read about Jace's story from Silver Linings. Jace is a mystery and so is Cambri. Why did they break up all of those years ago? Why did she never get back in touch with Jace? Now he seems to run into her everywhere and the pain of the past keeps getting thrust in his face. The emotional turmoil of her past and the relationship with Cambri's father all seems to be more than Cambri can handle. Will Cambri and Jace ever talk and work things out? Is there a happy ending for either of them? I loved even the minor characters in this book like Grandpa Cal and Cambri's Dad. The small town setting and and the sense of family and friends will leave you with a satisfied feeling!
I really enjoyed Lydia's story and as a character, she is the kind of friend everyone would want to have! She is sweet, kind, and down-to-earth. Her story was endearing how she went away for the summer for an adventure and ended up reading all summer! I could totally relate to her! Wanting to be adventurous and actually doing it are two completely different things! So she chose the safe side and read; reading usually never lets you down! Anyway, she runs into Blake at the airport for her flight home. Lydia's adventure begins there! I enjoyed the development of their relationship and their adventure together! If you love sweet romance with great writing, you will love Lost and Found!
I am really loving the Ripple Effect Romance Series! If you don't have a lot of time and need a quick pick-me-up, any of these books will do the trick! Second Chances 101 is well-written and has a beautiful story! Francie finds herself a widow at 37 and her only son leaves for college. So she enrolls in college and takes a position as an administrative assistant for a history professor to help pay her way. What she doesn't expect is his rudeness upon their first meeting! She also doesn't expect to find a friend in a young college girl who is lonely and looking for some direction. I absolutely loved this book! Francie is strong, capable, and has such a positive outlook for the circumstances she finds herself in! She is a great person and I loved reading about her and cheering for her throughout the book. This one left a smile on my face and in my heart and I recommend it to any romance fan and anyone who needs a pick-me-up!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this final installment in the Ripple Effect Series. What I didn't expect was that this would be my favorite book of the series by far! Lisette is amazing, hard-working and cursed with beauty. I say cursed because men seem to think they can man-handle her because she is gorgeous! No one should be treated that way, especially in a professional setting like her job as a language teacher! So Lisette gets a make-under which includes a mousy wig, a uni-brow and a wart to boot! Under these circumstances she meets a potential client, Erik. Can you say handsome, gorgeous, greek god with an accent? Yeah he is that good looking but super sweet and he doesn't seem to care that Lisette is less than stellar looking. The story that unfolds next is simply wonderful. I don't have words to describe the journey these two go on together, I just know that I was so glad I got to read it! Not everything is always what is appears to be and sometimes people get what they deserve! A well written novel, Griffith is one that I will definitely be reading more from!...more

White grabbed my attention and held it the entire way through the book. I stayed up last night until my eyes were aching for relief and I literally couldn't read anymore and was forced to put it down to give my weary eyes some rest! Charlotte was a character that I loved, she was so sweet, kind, open and honest with the best attitude of around! She seemed like a friend, someone I could know personally! How she continually dated all of these men who dumped her and then married the next girl they dated, I will never know! Maybe it was bad luck! All I do know is that her story is one that I loved reading! My one and only complaint is the ending! Too abrupt for this reader who wants the next book in my hands now! Whenever the next book is released, it will be too long for me! If you want a clean romance with real depth and emotion, then The Husband Maker is the book for you!...more

This book is about a girl named Kira and her struggle to survive in a harsh world where her mother has just passed away. Lowry has a talent with her writing; she draws you into the person's life, their dystopian town and haunting life. Most of all she doesn't let you lose interest for one moment. I was rooting for Kira and her little friend Matt the entire way through. Kira amazed me with her kindness and compassion for others in a time and a world where people didn't act that way at all. What a gift that Lowry shares with her readers! She writes hope, she emotes hope, her characters are hope! People will relate to this book because they will see themselves in Kira. I am told in book three I will find out about Jonas and I am anxious to see how this all ties together! ...more

I had heard the title, knew it had been turned into a movie and that was it. I didn't have a clue as to what it was even about. My Mom lent me the book and I read it in one sitting! No joke, I started in the evening and finished around midnight. What is it about The Giver? It drew me in, but a lot of books have done that. There is something else, something I cannot put my finger on; something indescribable. Jonas was who we all want to be! Deep down we all want to share joy and love with others, we all want to share happiness. We all want to be brave, courageous and a hero. I cannot wait to finish the journey with Jonas. ...more
