I couldn't ever really decide who was trust-worthy! I thought I did, but man Roger's kept me on my toes! Why is this book so great? The story is unique and compelling and the storytelling was so well done that I was flipping pages like a madwoman! The secrets, the heartache, the unknown, this book just kept me on my toes! These six stories are allFirst I have to say that I love these anthologies, they are what I turn to when I need something to read I know I will like! These six stories are all different and fun! They all take place in New York City and made me want to go to the Big Apple and see all the sights and sounds for myself! Rallison's Job Hazards had me laughing, cringing and hoping for a happily ever after! Moore's A Taste of Sun had me rooting for the underdog! Perkin's Dulce De Leche was fun while having a serious undertone, I appreciated the juxtaposition. Ah and then there is Eden's Take A Chance; it was just what I needed!Miguel was so sweet and I loved the Broadway bit! Lyon's Firsts and Lasts was poignant and had me thinking about dreams and how important they can be in life. And last there is & by Mangum. I think this one has to be my overall favorite! I just felt a connection to the out of the way printing shop, the art of words and books. My inner book loving soul connected to this story and I truly enjoyed it. Altogether this is a wonderful collection of short stories that I zipped right through! I received a copy of this book for free, all thoughts and opinions are my own....more

I keep wanting to pinch myself to make sure that this series is real! Dickerson has done it again! Every time she releases a new book I am beside myself from anxiousness to get it in my hands, and once I have it, it never fails that I cannot put it down until I am finished! Dickerson has an amazing storytelling ability where she is able to weave together historical elements, romance, conflict and strength through faith all into one breathtaking story! The Princess Spy is just such an example of her artistry as a writer. I found myself watching the entire story unfold in my mind from the details she provided and the emotional connection I felt to each character was surreal. I became lost in The Princess Spy and Margaretha and Colin's story. At times I wanted to cry, laugh, and at other times I was afraid and my heart was pumping in fear for the characters' lives! This is how real this story became to me! I cannot find the words to give it enough praise!

She is my go-to for a fast-read full of romance, flirting and kissing! True to Hatler form, Ginger has an amazing set of friends who truly care! I laughed at the Gilligan Island references and sighed at the cute kittens! If you want a read you won't be able to put down full of friendship, romance and feeling, then this is the series for you! Start at book one and don't stop until you are done! Hopefully Ginger's story is not the end and there will be a book nine in the future! In fact, I find myself turning to her books when I need a read I know I will love and not be able to put down! I loved To Tempt an Earl! Bethanny's personality was so genuine and authentic, I appreciated that in a regency novel where most characters mask their true selves! Bethanny was the exact opposite! True to herself, she wasn't just another pretty face. She was bold, intelligent and full of good humor! She knew whom she wanted and wasn't afraid to let him know. Vayden tells a captivating regency tale full of love, laughter and deceit...all for good reason! If you are a fan of regency novels, you do NOT want to miss this one!

ThisI am a new reader to Rallison and if all of her books are as unique and engaging as Son of War, Daughter of Chaos, then I will be a fan for life! This book is so different what most of what is out there right now. It is contemporary but has Egyptian myths and legends that Aislynn (the main character), finds out are real and she is now in the middle of it! Why can't her teenage life be normal? It is far from normal but definitely exciting and full of adventure and love, or what she thought was love. She has to learn who she can trust, who she is and where she belongs. I loved this book more than any other than I have read in a long time! There were so many different details that went into the story and so many emotions that Aislynn experienced. She had tough choices to make and it endeared her to me even more. If you want a great book full of adventure, myths and legends come to life, and family and love then this is the book for you! A page-turner to the very end, I am hoping beyond all hope that Rallison will write another after this one! AMAZING! I loved that series and now we get to learn the story of the young pairs team that Emily and Sergei were coaching. Courtney's story has sparks flying in the romance department but still clean which this reader appreciates! I found myself pulled into Courtney's story immediately and there was no turning back! Comeaux has a way of keeping the reader's attention throughout the entire book by her great storytelling skills! I couldn't put the book down, I had to know what happened with Courtney and her partner's dreams of the Olympics. Also high on the list was having to know about Courtney's love life! Would everything work out for them or would it be doomed from the beginning? There is magic in the air in Crossing the Ice! Comeaux made me fall in love with figure skating all over again! I am crossing my fingers and hoping there is another book in the future! I received a free copy, this is my honest review....more

I am not sure what I was expecting when I grabbed a copy of this book from Amazon when it was free, but I definitely didn't expect to devour it in one sitting!!! Sara is handicapped, from birth her legs have been fused together, yet she is gorgeous and doesn't even realize it because she dwells on her legs. She is strong-willed and determined to make it on her own. Thank goodness she has her friend Gretchen to look out for her! Xanthus is one hot Dagonian! I had no clue what a Dagonian was (a creature similar looking to a mermaid but not a mermaid) but now I do! Man I loved this book; clean romance, hot guy, insecure gorgeous girl, mermaids? Dagnoians? Greek gods? AMAZING!!! There was action, drama, romance, family issues, oh and the whole different species thing going on! I love this world that Kelly has created! If you want to read a book that is compelling and unpredictable then Rising is just the book for you!...more

I was so ecstatic when I found out she had and it was about the same royal family! This story is about Lylin, Ella's youngest sister. Right away I was taken in by Lylin's stubborn nature and her openness. I loved Rhys as a character and how strong, capable and yet mysterious he was. There is plenty of intrigue in this book which I adore and also plenty of romance! The chemistry between characters is sizzling while staying within appropriate bounds for a sweet romance. There are toe-curling kisses and love that will have you sighing and squeezing your own loved one tight. I loved the ups and downs, the unsurety of the future for Lylin, I loved it all! Princesses, dashing Lords, a King and Queen, a villain and intrigue...what more can this reader want? However, every now and again an author will turn the tables on the reader and have you begin to have an inkling of sympathy for the character until before you know it, you are rooting for them! I couldn't believe the magic Hartman wove by swaying by opinion of Conrad! The incidents with Conrad and his distaste for the outdoors and all animals brings a smile to my face just thinking about it! I laughed and laughed about each mishap that seemed to always befall him. Poor Conrad! I loved the changes that he began to make for himself and how he went from terrible villain (in my opinion) to a good guy. This is a fun and light read with a few serious notes in it, which are what I have come to love and cherish about Hartman's work! It was fun, flirty, and full of witty banter. Sabrina decides to patiently wait for her ex-fiance who just needs some 'time' to make sure he is ready for marriage. Now me, I would run the other direction if my fiance had already proposed and then decided he needed more time to be ready! Really? Anyway, Sabrina is convinced they are so right for each other but she continues to see him with this other woman. Enter the annoyingly-drop-dead-gorgeous and conveniently single Jack. Convenience and a pay-off for both brings the two into a fake relationship. This is where the fireworks begin! Bring on the swoon worthy kisses and the heart pounding love connection! If only the two can wake up and realize what they have together! I loved the run-ins with Sabrina's ex, the over protectiveness of Jack and the chemistry was sizzling hot! If you enjoy a light-hearted romance with laughter, this is the book for you! It kept me page-turning to the very end! A wonderfully well written book that I will read again and again!

Then when sheImperfect Love really grabs the reader's emotions and I was completely attuned to how Lauren felt in her relationship with her husband. Then when she finds out the news about her pregnancy, Talley does a wonderful job of capturing every emotion that Lauren goes through. When she finds out that the baby may have problems, I wanted to cry with her. Talley really packs strong emotions and feelings into this book! I could feel the pain, the heartache, and the indecision that Lauren was feeling. I could feel her frustration with her husband working long hours and their disagreements over the baby. And when Lauren made the ultimate decision about her baby, I cheered for her yet wanted to cry about it at the same time for what she would lose over it..her marriage. Imperfect Love is not a fluffy love story, it isn't a typical romance novel at all. In fact, the romance is such a minuscule part of the book. It is a book about choices, courage and love. This book is a journey. I found it to be a wonderfully emotional journey that I was glad to be able to read. I recommend this to anyone who likes substance to their books! Bravo to Rebecca Talley!
