It took some effort to get through the first 75 pages, with my simple mind, but OMGoodness... I had a migrane by the time I finished from reading so earnestly for so long. Could not stop reading until I finished. I totally love Hadassah. And Marcus??? ( picture Brad Pitt in Troy) I just want to scoop him up and eat him on a cracker!! This book spoke volumes into my life. I relate in so many ways to F.R.'s foreword. You will not regret picking this book up..but be warned!! You will not be able to wait one minute before picking up the sequal, which you get a peek of at the end of this book. Thank God! (less)

MY NEW FAVORITE BOOK!!!! You guys have got to read this book. So good. I didn't think I would like it as much as I liked Pearl in the Sand, but I did. Amazing. So glad I stuck out the first fifty disturbing pages of child abuse (which I cant usually even bear to read) and most of those pages were epilogue which I totally encourage you NOT to skip! Talk about, "He Restoreth my soul". (less)

A moving story, well told. Sometimes hard to read stories like this (even ones just based on true events) but its the painful reality of some. I feel blessed beyond words to have thus far, escaped the horror and evil that lurks in the shadows of life. It is my homage to those who have suffered at the hands of evil to read these stories with a tender heart and allow myself to feel raw emotions and love for those innocent lives shattered and scarred by acts of hateful, wicked human beings..Sometimes it is the fallen tears that speak loudest. "Always remember. Never Forget". A very small role to play, just to read their stories and "remember" them. Allow yourself to have an uncomfortable moment in honor of someone else's tragic events. Then pray for them. And for you.(less)
