Mythologies collide and the fab writing duo have created a believable world filled with supernatural occurrences and citizens, not to mention their own town where those supernaturals can live alongside one another.
With humour, action, and a lot of sizzling chemistry between our leading ladies and the mysterious and yummy men in their lives, Inescapable; Book 1 in the Eternelles Series is a fab read.
Sera and Adri have a very typical mother/daughter relationship, which is actually rather refreshing within this genre as I, personally, haven’t read many family orientated paranormal/urban fantasy books, but that is what makes this book stand out. Not only do we have romance, action, and an impending threat to mankind – with a fab spin on how that is going to go down in this world – we have angst between parent and child. Not that these two are ordinary; immortal, powerful, and in a heap load of trouble, but definitely not ordinary.
Book 1 is the perfect introduction to the series; well written, informative, creative, and with enough laughs, and action. It does end on a cliff-hanger, but I really can’t wait to find out more.
All in all, it's a brilliant book. The duo have twisted mythology and the supernatural and created this fab story, which I have to say reminds me a lot of Charmed. It's very family orientated, but with a huge hit of paranormal, a splash of chemistry and humour and my god, a handful of delicious men. It's definitely a must read for anyone who likes paranormal fiction.

Well, everything has gotten three times more interesting in Cry of the Wolf which is the next instalment of The Eye of the Storm Series.
Where do I begin? Well, if you loved the first book in the series then you're gonna love this book. Lydia is in the throes of finding her place in her new life, pack, and her role in her new three-way relationship/bond. Mmm. The boys are as hot as ever, but we now have the huge splash of dominance and submission going on. The tension between all three is like a delicious tug or war where they are all try/fighting to be fair in regards to the situation.
Ryan . . . *fans self* was the focal point in links to Lydia in book one, but the limelight is now turned to Lawrence and Taylor in book two, but for very different reasons. Darling, gorgeous Taylor is trying to say goodbye to his past, where as Lawrence’s has decided to rear its ugly head. I’m not going in to details because I dare not spoil anything, but my heart really went out to Lawrence in this book and I have developed a deep respect for him.
We also have another couple who make regular appearances throughout the story. Remember Sarah, Taylors ex-wife? Yeah, she has gone and got the attention of something tall, dark, and fury; Amil . . . well, you will find out the deal with him, but he is the character you know you should hate, but you end up loving him; finding yourself hoping for him.
This book runs a lot deeper. We see a mixture of pain from a lot of characters, for a lot of reasons, but we also see their strength; how they survived and how the experiences they have lived through have made them who they are.
Last, but definitely not least, the threads in regards to Lydia’s family and heritage are starting to weave together. Her life and family are still a mystery, and one that is slowly being revealed to the reader, but you just know something interesting is lurking round the corner.
All in all, Cry of the Wolf is a must read. We find out more about the structure of the pack, and how the trident came to be. We learn more about our three sexy alpha wolves. Tension and chemistry still runs high, and the sex scenes are toe tingling good. Action, humour, science . . . The story has it all.
Dianna Hardy sure knows how to pen a good tail tale. (Bad pun, but I couldn't help myself. ;-P) The threads of the series are beginning to weave together and I can’t wait for the third and fourth book.

It's sexy and intriguing, and for a 30k + story you get a great amount of action, lots of detail, and *fans self* plenty of hot scenes that will get your pulse racing.
I adore Dianna's writing style and her voice. She doesn't miss a beat when it comes to detail, and she knows how to start a story so that you are pulled in to the characters and their world immediately.
I think her new take on werewolves, their pack dynamic, and their rules on mating is fascinating. I won't go in to too much detail for the sake of spoilers, but if you are a fan of werewolf romance/erotica then you will understand the overall idea of how such things work with these species. There is a universal idea of how things work for them, and well, Dianna has shook it up, and reworked the stereotype . . . And it works brilliantly.
Lydia is a spunky young woman who I automatically liked, and envied her from page one. (Lucky girl, you.) And the guys . . . oh, good luck trying not to want any of them, that's all I can say.
Releasing the Wolf is a brilliant book for anyone who loves werewolf romances. The book also introduced a back story; there is some pack politics going on; some problems with outsiders which I am looking forward to hearing more about.
All in all, I will be reading this one again, and possibly another dozen times after that. I am totally ready for book 2 and will be waiting impatiently until it is complete.

So, when I first heard she had wrote a little something for Decadent Publishings 1 Night Stand Series, well, I knew I was going to want to read it.
Turning the tables on the professor fantasy I know most of us ladies have One Night of Need proves to be a sexy little story about the handsome professor, Dominick Alvarez giving in to his long standing urges to spend the night with a younger woman. And what a lucky woman Alexandria Petron is, but then after her last relationship I don't blame her for wanting a little fun with someone maturer.
As with most short stories - and the fact that I am greedy - I would have loved this book to be a little longer, but I think Mrs Jade has penned a great story for this series, and I enjoyed every minute of it.(less)

It introduces a new plot with new supernatural characters, a new romance, and lots of weddings. The reader is able to continue enjoying the banter and relationship between Elora and Ram, while enjoying the introduction of a new love interest for the broken hearted Storm.
In the second instalment of the series we see the world opening up a little more as three more "supernatural" beings are introduced; a witch, incubus, and werewolf.
Yet again, Danann has written an interesting world - other dimensions included - that support a cast of interesting and believable characters who fit perfectly together. It was nice to see the continuation of the romance between book ones main characters Elora and Ram, and wonderful to follow the growing attraction between both Storm and Litha.
There was less action in this book and yet again I found myself distracted by information that was used to explain characters history, but the story lives up to the previous book and remains sweet and heartfelt. There is plenty of humour in this book along with romance, magic and heat.
I enjoyed reading the book just like I did My Familiar Stranger, and will definitely be reading the third book in the series, The Summoner's Tale.(less)

I understand the time and effort that is put into a book; how hard it can be. I respect everyone who has been able to write a book, and want you to know that I understand how nerve-racking reading people’s opinions on your work can be.
"The Book of Death" isn't really the type of story I would usually be interested in reading, and I believe there are two other stories in the series before this book, both of which I haven’t read. So I kinda dived into the world with this book, but I have to say that the concept is interesting in the sense that it is a different twist on the Dracula legend and well, vampires in general.
It's descriptive and well written, but I did find myself a little confused for the first couple of chapters, but once the action kicked in and I realized how the vampire side linked in everything became a lot clearer.
The story is plot heavy with a sprinkle of light romance on the side, and the characters were interesting, but I didn’t feel any particular connection to them. I believe that is mainly because I don’t really read books that lean toward mysteries/police/government/politics and anything else that falls under those issues.
In saying that, if you are a person who likes such stories, or likes paranormal tales with a different twist – and I did enjoy the twist and the fact the story was set in the 60’s - then you may want to consider reading “The Book of Death” and the stories that come before it.

Being a fan of mythology and history I was intrigued by the blurb for this book. I personally adore reading about the way the world once was and what different civilisations believed and how they lived. I also very much enjoy seeing what writers do with such knowledge.
For me, The Strix had it all; the gritty truth and violence of the Roman era, magic, sex, the supernatural, reincarnation, and love. From page one you are sucked into the old world, learning right away the origin and the beliefs of the heroine, Arcona. It's wonderful to see the difference between the past and the present and how much has changed over the centuries. How magic and superstition was once integrated - and through religion most of the time - in the world and yet it has been lost.
I immediately sympathized with past Arcona and the path that she decided to walk down. Times were hard, and any person had to do what they must for survival in those days. I enjoyed how present Arcona was awakened to her past life, and reunited with the man she had wronged, Tyr. Or should I say vampire? I thought the magical creation of these creatures we hear so much about was a very refreshing and interesting approach, and added just that extra does of supernatural flavour to the story.
It was wonderful to see how a soul can change through time and reincarnation - something I believe strongly in - and how two souls can share a connection that can last through the ages. How a second chance and the strength to forgive can change a person and their life.
Wonderfully descriptive, intriguing, and with a does of magic and the paranormal, The Strix is definitely a book to be read; especially for anyone who loves some history.
Great first book in the series and I am totally looking forward to reading the next.(less)

From page one you are thrown in to the story by the characters getting straight down to business; and I'm not just talking about the fact that Gracie's mission is clear from the moment she steps off that elevator. Heck no, Make Me Stay is sexy from the get go. From the moment Cade and Gracie are reunited their attraction sizzles off the page and straight away you find yourself routing for their HEA.
Fans of Mrs Jade must give this book a read. It's totally worth it! :-) (less)

Gabby and Lorenzo's chemistry jumps off the page, and the build-up to their first night together is perfectly teasing and yummy.
