Meant for Her begins in a lovely spin-off scene with the For Everly characters. Sierra and Evan have an instant connection but it isn't there time. The next chapter starts a few months later when Evan joins the Atlanta team.
Meant for Her is now one of my favorite New Adult novels. It has a beautifully written love story but it's a little different from the typical. Sierra is a very strong female character. Once she feels that instant connection with Evan, she knows what she wants. And she makes sure she gets what she wants. This is what made Meant for Her fresh but still kept with the New Adult trend.
In the story Evan isn't ready to let go of his hurt to love Sierra, but with a little bit of help from her relatives and some patience, she's able to continue to try for him. The push and pull from Evan throughout the book made me keep flipping the page. I enjoyed seeing him come around to the idea of Sierra.
Overall this book gets 5 Stars from me. I enjoyed the characters and the fluctuations in the story line kept it interesting throughout! Also Go Braves! :)...more

Kihanna's mom finally reveals who her real dad is after all these years and he happens to be a billionaire. She is forced into this new lifestyle that is idealized on the outside but she slowly finds out how screwed up it is on the inside. I feel like all the characters in the book have their own story and throughout the series we will learn what all their stories are.
Kihanna is just a real teenager. She wants to fit in but on the other hand this life isn't the life she is used to so she stands out. She's confident in who she is and her style. I love the parts where her stepmom tries to tell her what to wear but she does her own thing anyway. Being introduced into this new life as a high school student is hard but she makes some pretty cool friends and meets a lot of guys interested in the fresh meat. It seems like throughout the series she will go through quite a few of them! I especially like the pool boy :)
Ty is her boyfriend in this book. He is a very interesting first to say the least. I've gotta say I'm team Gabe but there are so many potentials.
The book really ends in a bang and becomes a mystery! I can't figure out who the bad guy is so I can't wait to keep reading this series to find out!
The way I would describe it is What A Girl Wants meets 90210! Its a very interesting mix of drama! Check out The Fab Life! I would recommend it to any mature YA fans out there!...more

I can't believe this series is over! When you follow a series from beginning to end there is almost this sadness when you read the final 'the end'. Thankfully it was a great end that did not disappoint whatsoever. I'm sad to see The Guardians of Vesturon series come to a close, but I got to say I was completely satisfied.
Poor Xarrid. You can't help feel bad for him. His mate was kidnapped in Determinant and they can't find her. Luckily it didn't take to long to locate her, but once they did she didn't remember anything. Xarrid and Saylan have to work really hard to get back what they once had, and her trauma from being kidnapped threatens them ever having that relationship back.
It was great getting a glimpse into the characters lives that I had fallen for in the previous books in the series. Rykerion and January have a cute little toddler and Rykerion is still giving Jurek the death stare. Rayn and Maddie get a nice little surprise. Maddie is still as strong as ever when she insists to join the mission on Earth.
When I started the book I was like but A.M. what about Sharra? She still doesn't have a mate and thats just wrong. Little did I know she definitely did not forget about the only girl of the royal family. Sharra and Zander have a great bond. I love that the series has soulmates and Sharra finally ran into hers. They are both powerful Guardians and a great match.
I love Jurek in this book. Man I did not like him in Determinant he was a jerk most of the time and then I warmed up to him when I read the Dark Waltz. In reEmergent he plays such a big role in helping the Yarristers. I love that we get to see this soft side to him even though he still holds up his authority and domineering side too. You get to see that his hardened heart still cares for others! <3 Jurek.
The ending ends with many happily ever afters but does leave some room. I can't wait to see where Hargrove goes with the Praestani Series (starting with Dark Waltz). I still think Tesslar should end up with me! I mean how perfect would it be? Tess <3 Tesslar ;) ...more

The whole 54 pages I was hooked and I can't wait until the mystery of Wendy's nightmares is unveiled. It set up the suspense and mystery perfectly for book 1 in the series. So far I really like Wendy's character and her best friends are really cool too. They seem like they will be very important in the books to come. Definitely excited to jump right into Dancing With Death and the best part it is FREE right now so you can get a taste of the series!...more

For Everyly is an exciting NA Contemporary Romance full of twists and SWOON worthy moments. I had heard a lot of great things about Raine Thomas' writing so when I heard she was writing a book in my favorite genre, I got super excited! People weren't lying Raine is amazing. I loved her writing and didn't put For Everly down at all.
Everly and Cole have quite a unique relationship. Cole is a pro baseball player and Everly is a poor college student with a hard past. As you can read from the synopsis, they come together because Cole needs some off the record physical therapy and Everly, a physical therapy student, really needs the money. Their deal seems perfect as long as they can keep it a secret.
I loved the connection between Cole and Everly. They come from such different life styles but they work together so well. The sexual tension is just awesome. Everly never backs down and even though she is completely star-struck by Cole, she always gives him a run for his money. Everly is a challenge and I'm pretty sure Cole loves that about her. They are so sweet together and really bring out the best in each other. Cole is definitely book boyfriend material!
The plot was great and at some points unexpected. They run into some problems with the past. Cole with his ex and Everly with her father not to mention they are keeping a secret that could ruin both of their careers. All these factors kept me turing the pages.
Overall I really loved For Everly and would recommend it to the NA lovers out there. It's a great addition to the genre! A solid 5 Stars for me....more

You have to know going into this book that it is the same story as Slammed so there is no surprises (thankfully Colleen Hoover didn't throw in a whole "and then Will and Lake woke up from their fantasy dreams and kept living their buterflying lives"). I read it about a year after I finished Slammed and I highly recommend waiting if you can! It was awesome for me to get to rediscover the characters in a new way (since it was from a different POV). I thought how Colleen chose to tell the story was an art. It wasn't like reading slammed again which even though Slammed was AMAZING would've gotten kind of boring. She brings the story to life AGAIN and in some ways it feels like Lake and Will are falling in love all over again. You also get a taste of all your favorite parts of Slammed again. I just loved reliving those scenes. I loved the new content you got from This Girl. You get a taste of their honeymoon *wiggles eyebrows* and the epilogue is pretty epic! If you are like me and can't get enough of these characters and rich story, I suggest you finish off the series and read This Girl! It's worth it!...more

I loved it from beginning to end and literally did not put it down. Jaded ended with such a shocker. I really didn't know where Faded was going to beginning, but Mercy did an amazing job continuing the story that keeps me on my toes. I know for sure this trilogy always will.
The relationship between Scarlett and Stephan obviously have their bumps (I'm sure you know why if you know how Jaded ended!) BUT they ended up staying strong and sweet. Stephan was a great support for Scarlett. She has to make a lot of important decisions for herself in Faded and she couldn't have done it without him. I also really love the character that Stephan has become. For a lot of the book he really was just a guy (a little horny at times and it was hilarious)! Mercy does a great job of staying true to them being young adults even though they are having to make adult-ish decisions!
I'm also really excited for what's to come with Alec and Bridgett. I could just see the tension coming off the page between them but because Scarlett is so preoccupied the reason why that is isn't revealed!
Overall I thought Faded was a great 2nd book. Even though I'm pretty sure this ending was almost as a killer as the ending of Jaded (but in a good way!) For some reason while I was reading it I felt that Faded's writing style was a mix between Jillian Dodd and Michelle Mankin. I don't know if any one has read any of their books but I would be curious to know if someone else felt the same way. It's a great mix to have!
I would recommend Faded to any Young Adult lover! Just don't forget to read Jaded first! <3...more
I love me a country romance! This is my favorite type of story so when I got the chance to get an ARC of a contemporary country romance that happenedI love me a country romance! This is my favorite type of story so when I got the chance to get an ARC of a contemporary country romance that happened to be written by one of my favorite authors I jumped at the chance and I definitely wasn't disappointed.
When I first got into the book, it seemed a little predictable to me. The city girl was falling for the country boy. Luckily the rich, complex characters kept me reading because in the end predictable it was not. Don't get me wrong some parts still are but the little twists in the end make it all worth it!
Rowan is the girl that doesn't fit in the country lifestyle at all. She shouldn't be touching that place with a ten foot pole but her mother basically makes her got there for the summer so she doesn't have a choice. Little does she know this lifestyle might be exactly what she needs. The way that Rowen views herself is very sad and the reason that she sees herself that way is even sadder. I loved discovering that part of her and seeing her grow from it.
Jesse is country HOTNESS! All I have to say about that is the tight jeans!!!! mmm mmm mmm I could definitely picture them! He is also a great character that has a little bit of a past of his own. Despite that he is such a great guy and exactly what Rowan needs!
I loved the other characters almost just as much! The mother, Rose, was great fun. She had great words of wisdom and also great humor when it was needed. The sisters played a small role in the book but I thought they were just precious in it. I even liked the ex-girlfriend (you don't hear that one often!)
Overall this book was another great read from Nicole Williams that I would recommend for those who love the NA contemporary romances! Especially if you're a country girl like me! ...more

With characters that you fall in love with and a page turning plot lineFantasy books normally aren't my cup of tea, but I couldn't put this one down. With characters that you fall in love with and a page turning plot line, Never Let You Fall has easily become one of my favorites.
I loved the fact that I didn't have to wait for the action. It wasn't one of those books that just gave loads of backstory for many chapters before something exciting happens. This book pushes you into the story and captures you until you reach 'the end'. It keeps you guessing and gives bits and pieces of the story to keep your interest along the way.
One of my favorite things about this book was the heroine, Skye. In a way, she is thrown into this new world right before she reaches 18 and her life changes, again. She has a terrible past and now has to deal with this new future. I like that she is skeptical of it at first. It makes her relatable and real. She is a little nervous and fearful but on the other hand she is extremely brave and kick-butt. She embraces her new destiny and I loved reading her take on this new life!
Xander...sigh... is my new book boyfriend. He is protective, supportive, and loving toward Skye. He reassures her through all these new life changes and is by her side the whole way. Seriously you can't help but fall for him! I really loved the connection between Skye and Xander throughout the book. The romance was SWOOOOON worthy and kept it YA.
It's hard to say too much without giving away spoilers so I will just leave it at there. What more can you ask for from a book than great characters, a great story, and a great new world to get lost in. If Fantasy/Paranormal Romance is your thing then I definitely recommend that you get Never Let You Fall!
Okay and just because I had to add a little bit of fan-girling here is a teaser pic I made for Never Let You Fall! ...more

It had me at the end of my seat waiting for what was going to happen next. Things just kept coming out of left field and it just all fit together. The first book in the Rock Star Trilogy ROCKED! < A brief summary of the book, Tess style: Scarlett is a rock star that is ready to get out of the spotlight for a little while so that she can live a normal life. She also needs a break so she can remember why she loves music and wanted to do this rock star thing in the first place. Enter the hotness with green eyes, dimples, a sexy smile, and snarky attitude. Life throws LOTS of curveballs!
i LOVE all the characters in this book! Scarlett, Stephan, Ethan, Mona, Bridgett, Stacey, Alec, and Bob. They are all so dynamic (well maybe not Bob) and well developed. They all have a very distinct personality and it makes for very interesting situations in the book! All of them are like puzzle pieces that have to be put together to make the book complete. They make the book so much more than a famous artist trying to live a normal life.
I think THE MORE SHE TRIES TO BE NORMAL THE CRAZIER HER LIFE GETS! Seriously I can't tell you enough how much this book had me guessing and let me tell you I didn't guess one thing RIGHT! You have to read it to understand all of this because there is no way I'm spoiling any surprises!
Stephan is my new book boyfriend. I couldn't help but SWOOOOON at some of the stuff he says! By the way the guy I described ^up^there^ is HIM! YUMMY SEXINESS!
THE ENDING GAH! It's torturous! I wanted to reach in the book and slap Scarlett! Ugh Come on *bangs head against wall until the release of Faded*!
If you like contemporary romance YA/NA, I think you'll love this! It's something different, fun and definitely leaves you needing more!...more
