I really love this book and I must say I love the characters so much especially Annabel and Owen! Owen... OMG! He is so dreamy! I wish to marry him! Really! This has been one of the best books I have read so far! My first Sarah Dessen book was Along for the Ride and it's pretty good too. I can't wait to read The Truth About Forever since I've been dreading to read that book for almost 3 months and I finally got it. Wohoo, the joy of awesome bookstores! :)...more

ToI can't believe I just finished reading the last installment of the Perfect Chemistry Series :( This sure is one heck of an emotional ride to read. Too many things to discover and secrets to be reveled. This is so not what I have expected for this one, but turns out to be in a very good way.
Chain Reaction is so very different from its two previous books, that I can tell. Perfect Chemistry tells the story about Alex and Brittany and their building and developing love to each other after they got paired up at chemistry class. Their story is somewhat cheesy that you get to swoon over and over ones you read it over and over. It doesn't have too many cusses in their dialogue which Ms.Elkeles kept to be more PG. And it leaves you totally breathless and in love after reading it. Totally a great book. While in Rules of Attraction, it still has the same cheesiness and the progress of Carlos and Kiara's love attraction to one another. I know it's not that much swoon-worthy and is obviously much less "dirty"(yes, because the Fuentes brothers want to get down and dirty with their chicas) compared to the first book.
But with Chain Reaction it was very different. Well, at first you could see the theme that Simone put from the first two books are still there. The meet-a-new-heroine-and-fall-in-love-in-the-end and all. But there.was.this.huge.turn.of.events that I didn't realize and I pretty much know that some of you were surprised as well. The twist was a shock, really! I never thought that was gonna happen. And as much as I want to tell you and gush too much about it, i prefer for the readers to find it out for them selves! ☺ But all I can say is that this is such a very good ending in the Perfect Chemistry trilogy. And ohh my, I even cried at the part that one of my admired character DIED! I know! I was suddenly into tears when I read he died. He was so good and I even saw a potential in him. :( But enough of that, it was still a good story that I really hate to let go let alone be over with. The Fuentes really left a soft spot for me and I instantly fell in love with them. They are truly a good example of a bad-boy with a happy ending. And the epilogue, well I also didn't expect that to happen. This book also shows the importance of family sticking together till the end no matter what happens.
In the end, I was sad this was coming to an end. That I what I was dying to read during the summer was finally done. THIS SERIES IS TOTALLY ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I EVER READ OF ALL TIME! Thank you Simone Elkeles for sharing such wonderful stories to relieve a lifetime. For opening our hearts and making me realize that no matter what happened, family is always there even if you didn't expect them too. And goodbye to the best bad boys in town, ALEX, CARLOS, and LUIS! ♥♥♥...more

The story was very strong and the characters are at its best! I have to say, KUDOS to Mr. John Green for this amazing novel.
At first, I had second thoughts whether to get this book or not but based on the rave reviews I read, it doesn't hurt me to try. Thank goodness I was finally able to finish this book. It was really nice!

**HERE IS A SMALL FACT** You are going to die.
Honestly, I find myself having difficulty in giving this book a review. So before I start anything else, let me run through the most significant happenings that had grabbed and stirred me through this whole reading process: (view spoiler)[
What's so cool is that this was narrated by Death. I love his voice, he's sarcastic, and the way he describes the world and the humans are very vivid. Liesel Meminger-- The Book Thief The Gravedigger's Handbook, where it all started. Hans Hubermann & Rosa Hubermann-- Liesel's foster parents. They are the best foster parents that I would love to meet. Hans is an amazing father, great teacher, and a good accordion player. Rosa, the woman had a heart. She had a bigger one than people would think. Year 1939. Nazi's vs. Jewish Rudy Steiner-- with his asked kisses, he is Liesel's best fried. He is such a cutie and I swear to God he makes this book a little romantic for an 11 year old boy. ☺ Max Vanderburg-- the fistfighter, the Jew, and the believer The secret ground below 33 Himmel Street Ilsa Hermann
The Book Thief is not that exciting at first, I get a vague picture about Germany and the war and the people but I know for sure that I would love this book till the end. Often I keep flipping and turning the pages because I can't seem to stop. Death's voice accumulates my whole mind that kept me wanting and knowing more. I was figuratively drawn to the story that I think of myself being actually there with Liesel, Papa Hans, Mama Rosa, Rudy and the others. They made the book so alive that you think like it is really happening in your backyard. The whole event is so exhilarating that this is one roller coaster ride that when I read, at first I'm freakishly nervous on what would happen then be glad that a life hasn't ended yet. Whew!
Favorite phrases used by the characters:
Saukerl Saumensch Jesus, Mary, and Joseph
All my life I've been engrossed with history and past events that left a great impact in the world. And the WW1 is one of it. But never in my learning have I seen that event told a story in a particular civilian with the normal family, the normal friends, and the normal circumstances. Not only does this focuses on the Führer but to the whole Deutsche, Nazi, and Jewish people. It's great the Markus Zusak made a very significant and important historical event told as a Young Adult Fiction. Some may have done it a little bit boring but with him, he has a way of words. And I cannot think of any who would have done it much better.
Gosh, there is a lot to talk about but I am certainly lost for words. This is just magnificent. Very well-written just fits to everybody. The pacing and the characterization is highly admirable. I could read this over and over, and fall in love with it over and over. The Best!
I just reread this today so I'll be able to start on the second book, Queen of the Dead since it's been a long time I've read The Ghost and the Goth.I just reread this today so I'll be able to start on the second book, Queen of the Dead since it's been a long time I've read The Ghost and the Goth. And as usual, I love this book so much. It makes every body happy just reading this over and over. ☺
Regina George... How do I begin to explain Regina George? Emma Gerber: Regina George is flawless. Mathlete Tim Pak: I hear her hair's insured for $10,000. Amber D'Alessio: I hear she does car commercials... in Japan. Kristen Hadley: Her favorite movie is Varsity Blues. Short Girl: One time she met John Stamos on a plane... Jessica Lopez: - And he told her she was pretty. Bethany Byrd: One time she punched me in the face... it was awesome.
I just love this movie :D
This book is told in both perspective so might as well tell my thoughts about the characters :)
Alona Dare, she is your typical popular girl in school, 3-years running prom queen, cheerleader co captain, and the jock girlfriend. Yep, pretty much sum up a cliché on the whole high school world. But despite all that title on her, it so not hard to love her! ♥ She had this attitude that doesn't even get on your nerves even if you want it to. She's fiery, classy and yeah you guessed it, beautiful. No wonder Will liked her since 6th grade. Haha. Along the story you may judge her as a perfect brat but once you go along it, you'll realize that she'd worked hard for who she "was"(before she died). And she has this best friend who ended up with her boyfriend just days after she died. Cool huh?
Will Killian, Will is your typical loser, geek, and just weird. But people got that wrong though because for me, he is just so *swoon*, 'nuff said. Okay, so he is weird but people(alive, I mean) didn't understand why he's acting out that way. He has this gift, course, or whatever he wanted it to be, thing in him. Well, basically he can see and talk to the dead and it is very hard for him because they keep on bugging him to do their unfinished stuffs when they died. And that was hard for him to deal with the Principal ready to strike him anytime. And he has this totally goth of a friend who is really twisted. And Will is not a goth, FYI, he just like dark clothes that's all. Anyway, Will is hot, yeah! :D (currently grinning while thinking about Will). I adore him. And now I can't wait to read the second book and to know what's in store for me. I love Will. They have this good chemistry together with Alona without even trying. ♥♥♥
This book, 5 out of 5. I love how light and sweet this is and how you got to love both characters. :) Everyone should read this.

She's always done it in her very own way to capture every bit of emotion and present a very deep and likable story. And that's what makes her an amazing author. She brings out the cliche and interpret it in the most vast of explanation.
THE TRUTH ABOUT FOREVER is one of the very cute story with the crushes, first loves, struggling to fit and be perfect, and mourning and grieving over the passing of a loved one. No one could have put all those scenarios in one fitting novel but Sarah most definitely can.
I love every story she wrote and always looking forward to acquiring copies of her books. Every time I read her books, it really is something you looks forward to. She has this themes in hers that I really love to know and admire so much. And every time I finished reading her book, I don't find myself picking up another book next but just sit there and think and contemplate on how amazing the book was. I'm not gonna lie to you, but each time I read her books, I wish I was the character and at times I've finished it I find myself cry at how incredible each one was. That's how Sarah Dessen captures my heart! She is truly a great Young Adults author....more
