Okay, I really don't know how to start with my review because I still can't get over with all the kilig I felt after finishing the book. Perhaps, I should start with this warning:Never use your company email for telling personal stuff (specially your office crush) to your friends at work!(view spoiler)[because some cute IT guy (who also happens to be your crush)might be prying on your email (hide spoiler)].
Attachments is really a very lovable story. I love everything about it specially the way the author used the(email)epistolary style for presenting the female characters and a third person perspective for the guy character. To be more specific, I love the email exchanges between Beth and Jennifer because yes, I also happen to do that often in our office. I mean, we usually maximize this internal messaging feature in our company email to chat with each other about personal stuffs like, in my case, crush sightings, LOL. I think, that is the reason why I find the story so realistic.
I must confess I don't really like hard rock music. I never did but this book has really achieved something in giving me a better image of rock music.I must confess I don't really like hard rock music. Honestly, i dont find Five Flavors of dumb a catchy title but thanks to the high ratings given to this book here in goodreads, i got curious enough to give it a try. Indeed, this book is really great! I love every part of it--the characters, the plot, the theme. Who would have thought that a deaf girl can be a manager of a rock band and Piper is perhaps one of the str0ngest character i've ever met. She never let her disability keep her from getting what she want. ...more

I love Anne Hathaway and I always find the role of a Princess or a royal personality so fit for her that's why I've been meaning to watch Ella Enchanted ever since I first learned about it.Unfortunately, I was not able to watch it on the big screen so it was only last year that I was able to watch it.
Then I was surprised when I learned here in goodreads that Ella Enchanted is a children's book, a retelling of our most beloved fairy tale, Cinderella, that is. And so I decided to read this the other night and was able to finish it shortly. It is actually a bit different from the movie, but I love this just the same because of the twist that the author has made on the protagonist character. I also love how the characters were developed, especially the Prince. He's not the usual knight-in-the-shining-armor kind of prince but a dear friend to Ella.
Though the plot is very familiar to us, I love the author's creativity for making Ella' character as a princess with a very unlikely gift. A gift that was intentionally a good gift but we later find out that it's not. ...more
