All the emotions summed up to a beautiful HEA. Thank you Miss Mia for this beautiful, heartwarming story. I will hold it forever in my heart. Oh, Kyland.

Sad, haunting and mind-blowing. A Psychological Suspense book that I never thought I would be able to read and survived at all. If a friend of mine didn't tell me to read this book, I wouldn't dare buy it.
I'm glad I did.
I'm not sure if the purpose of this book is to drive a person mad with it's eerie and haunting atmosphere, but it sure felt like it. I was nervous the whole freaking time! The feeling that you were expecting something to happen... something bad, and you just don't know when it will hit. I tried hard to figure out eveything but I couldn't. A friend of mine said she listed a few of her guesses and all of them were wrong. It was different from any other books I've read before and it was refreshing to read a story that makes you completely clueless until the end. It was beautifully executed. Expect chills and shivers. Expect twists. Probably a maddening, open-mouthed-causing kind of twist. If the story felt like dragging in the beginning, don't stop. And with the unexpected, you've-got-to-be-kidding-me cliffhanger ending, you will surely knock your ass off (as what my friends told me). This book is definitely one of the best book I've read this year, probably ever. Despite all the typos, this book is utterly mind-wrecking. If you're up for a twisted, dark, sexy and haunting read, try this book. Don't list your guesses because I know you'd be wrong. Don't think too much about what is happening or what will happen because you won't be able to figure it out. Just read and let the author take you on a journey to Nocte. I know you can handle it.

I think I'm kinda numb to give any reaction right now. I'm cool. The book is cool. The characters are cool. The characters are lost. I am so lost. We're all cool and we're all lost. Awesome right? It's all mystery and no answers. Doesn't make any sense. All I know is that I read a book about two characters named Charlie and Silas, and that this guy Silas is so adorable I want to kiss him. Hahaha. Why am I even laughing? I was cheated and I was laughing. LOL.
So do not read this book. It's crazy. I didn't even know what was going on all throughout the book.
But if you come to think of it... it's not nice to know you aren't feeling what I'm feeling... how will you ever understand? Forget everything I said. Just read this book.Go and rush your ass off to get this book. I know you're curious and somehow you want to feel cheated too....more

You know, it’s not actually the “I-want-to-shout-and-jump-and-do-crazy-things” kind of feeling that indicates I enjoyed a beautiful book but actually, it was the slow, sudden smile that formed in my lips after reading it. It was the way I found myself hugging the book without realizing I’m doing it in the first place. The constant tug in my heart, the beautiful smile on my lips… This indicates I’ve read a beautiful book and Ugly Love is a beautiful book. THAT ENDING. Ahhhh. I loved the ending and the epilogue. I can’t remember the last time I really felt satisfied after an epilogue like that. It made the broken pieces whole again (if that’s even possible).
Well anyway, I don’t know how Colleen Hoover’s imagination works, but she’s definitely one of a kind. She did it and she’ll definitely not going stop, not when she has a lot more to offer. I am excited to see what her next book will be. I know that I’ll be one of the many readers who will immediately grab a copy when it comes out. I have no doubt that she will let me bend and break again… but that’s okay. Because I believe she will make it up with a beautiful ending. She always does....more

So good that it made me miss and appreciate my bestfriend so much and it made me wish that I could go back in time where we see each other almost everyday and eat canned goods during dinner because we just wanted too.
And then this feeling of being in love... and feeling confused and being afraid of getting hurt...
This book made me feel young and carefree and in love. I usually feel this way when I read Sarah Dessen's books and it's that kind of feeling where you just want to stop and lie down for a while and think about the good things and even the not so good things in the past. It is a good feeling. And this book just gave me that. Loved it. I definitely recommend it.
p.s. Matt Finch. Love. This. Guy.
p.s. To my bestfriend Tin, I'm missing you.
p.s. thanks Kim Mathwig (my super nice ninja friend) for the recommendation. You did it, again. thanks Amanda Pedulla for the super fast "favorite" response on twitter. You added some more smile on my already big smile. thanks you two! (great to have bookish friends around)...more

But I hate Sang. This is it. She really is stupid. After everything that the guys did for her, she still couldn't trust them. She don't listen, she's too stubborn and she's annoying me already. Too naive isn't the right word to describe Sang, stupid is more fitting. And what's with wanting to make out with seven boys??? Can't she even choose??? I understand that they are all hot and beautiful guys and not to mention smart and dependable to the highest power. But really, you cannot love seven guys equally. There has to be one who holds your heart the most, right? Ok, maybe two... But seven at the same time? And this is the fourth book. FOURTH BOOK and I still doesn't know what this freaking Academy is. It's frustrating. I will definitely read the next book because it's addicting despite of its flaws, and because I couldn't let go of these adorable boys yet. But I hope that the next book will finally give us answers to what this Academy really is, and also about the real identities of these boys. It's so frustrating and irritating already. But yes, it's still good. Looking forward to read the next....more

I didn't exactly liked Sang, but she's ok. She's broken, innocent, a little clumsy, but I can say that she's strong. I immediately liked all the guys. And I mean ALL. As in each and every one of them. They are adorable and it's sweet to see how these guys care SO MUCH about Sang even though they just met her. Each of the boys is sexy and hot in a different way. Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, North and Luke. I almost couldn't pick who I like the most because their personalities are different in a very good way. I guess these guys has the complete package, all exudes beauty and power and strength. Really, I can't pick! Maybe Kota, but I don't know!
Anyway, don't expect too much on this book because as the title itself, it truly is about introductions. Not much happened in this book but it was enjoyable to read since we all get to meet the sexy boys of the Academy--whatever it is. There was no big twist or climax here, but it built a good foundation for the series since it made me want to read the book 2 as soon as I finished it. It was good and I could have given this a much higher rating if only I got satisfied about the revelation in the end. All throughout the book I was waiting for something big to happen, or to finally know the big secret these guys were hiding. There's the air of mystery alright. I was so curious and I almost expecting for these guys to transform into vampires or werewolves or something... Then the revelation. And that's it. I need more. There's got to be more to these guys. And that's why I grab the next book immediately. All in all, I still recommend it. It was a fast and easy read, I finished it in less than a day. I'm sure there is so much more in this series and it's worth a try....more

I could have given this a perfect five if I fully understand Jared's reasons on why she bullied Tate THAT MUCH. And I mean MUCH. Tate was humiliated, tortured and abused to the point that I wanted to punch Jared and Madoc to the face and kick their asses. I questioned Tate why she still love and forgive such kind of a guy after all he'd done to her. BUT there is no question that this book is so good.
