I like the story well enough but thought the plot moved a bit slow for the majority of the novel then sped up at the very end, giving it an abrupt ending. I love the ending though. The characters are great. Love Sebastian (I always love to read books where the hero's name is Sebastian. Don't know why because I don't know anyone personally who has that name.) and Clara. (less)

I love this book! The story is great, reminding me why I love Rachel Gibson. I adore the hero and heroine and wish I know them in person. I kept thinking throughout the novel that I would kill to have Delaney as my hairdresser. But what I want the most is to be on the receiving end of Nick's affection. God, that man is the best hero there is with a combination of confidence and insecurity...Delaney is the luckiest girl alive.
The plot is amazing. Unlike many contemporary romances I read these days where everything moves slow, this story had me flipping page after page and skipping sleep because I couldn't bear to part with the characters. Even the subplot of the threat, which in other novels I would find unnecessary and anticlimactic, works with the overall story. When I started this book, I had no idea what a jewel it is. How I wish I had read this sooner!(less)

I had started reading it awhile ago but had put it aside to read something else--I read books spontaneously and if I try to read one book when my mind is on another, then I can't enjoy it. Anyways, when I finally came back to finish this one, I enjoyed very much. I couldn't imagine why I had decided that I wasn't interested and put it down all those weeks ago.
I especially like Gabrielle; she is is eccentric and unlike any other heroine I've read. All her talks about auras and karma had me laughing so hard. I so love a good novel that can make me laugh. I like Joe too but mostly because he loves Gabrielle even though he thinks she's crazy. (less)

I admire Rachel for her unselfishness and I adore Gabe for opening up his heart after all the pain he went through. I love reading about the transformations Gabe went through because of Rachel. Those two are two pieces of a whole.
I also enjoyed the side story about Ethan and Kristy. Their love story started out ordinary enough but I find Ethan's confession to be a bit too "out of the blue". Nevertheless, I am glad they ended up together.
The ending of the novel where the whole Bonner family come together is heartwarming. As always, I feel a little sad to part ways with the characters. (less)

Not much excitement though. Maybe it's because I just came back from a month-long paranormal romance marathon or maybe contemporary romance is just not my cup of tea. Anyways, I thought this book is very cliche and normally, I love reading cliches but this time I just couldn't get into it. I do love Nate, I like Marty well enough, and there romance was okay but I just didn't love it. Then again, I have high standards when it comes to romance novels. I'll stop rambling now. :)(less)

I love Jack! He is absolutely my ideal kind of hero. I have mix feelings about Daisy though; half the times I like her and the other half I felt like yelling at her. What irritated me the most is that she waited 15 year (!!) to tell Jack that he had a son. Unlike Jack, I don't think I can ever get over that and I think it was totally unreasonable for her to expect Jack to forgive her in such a short time--15 years of anger cannot be resolved in a few short months. But Jack did forgive her and I guess that just proves how amazing he is. (less)
