It was abruptly pulled well before it was finished, and eventually I found out that it was plagiarized. Just a few weeks ago, I found out that this was the book they plagiarized. After all this time, I'm still curious about how it would play out, so I'm reading it.(less)

Perfect Fifths felt like something that was thrown together just to give the happy ending that Fourth Comings didn't. I'm glad I read the series, and I like happy endings, I just think the execution was off.(less)

Sure the Big Question that started the book was answered at the end, but it wasn't exactly a big surprise, and since there's a fifth book, I imagine it'll be nullified anyway. That being said, I plan to read the fifth one post haste, if for no other reason than to be done with it so I can move on to something else. (less)

I should pace myself and read something else for a week or two so I can stretch this out, but I probably won't.(less)

Pissed of ghost chucks heavy things at everyone, they burn sage, pissed off ghost leaves for a little while, then returns and chucks heavy things at everyone, they burn sage.... you get the picture. I do love these characters, and this Madigan twat sets up intriguing possibilities for the next installment. Looking forward to what comes next. (less)

Superfluous scenes, conflict for the sake of conflict, blah blah blah blah blah. The story wasn't bad. It just needs some serious editing. The sequel? Unless the author learned to shave a lot of pages, I'll pass.
I skimmed so much, this probably shouldn't count towards my book goal for the year.(less)

This one took me forever to get through, because I kept avoiding it. Too many battle scenes, predictable, nothing to keep me wanting more.(less)

The main character was completely clueless and annoying. She changed her mind from one sentence to the next with no real reason. The premise was intriguing, but it didn't go anywhere. The Big Reveal was anything but. Most characters were barely two-dimensional. Overall the story was pointless. The only reason it gets an extra star is for Doug Fox. Even though I kept thinking about the airport parking place when I read his name, he was still the only good thing about the book.(less)

It ends just when the good part is about to happen, but that's not what this book is about. It's about getting to the good part, and really, the whole book is the good part, just in a different way. Or something. This might make more sense if you read it.(less)

Mencheres, even in his own book, is a little boring, as was the antagonist. Not a bad book, but slightly disappointing.(less)
