CONDENSED REViEW: Wow this book is amazing. I read the first book of the VA series and I really didn't like it. I almost gave up on the series but I'm super glad I didn't! So far this is my favorite book of this series, and definitely one of my favorite books in general! Go buy this book now! You won't regret it.
REViEW: Wow. Read this book NOW! Like go out and buy it, it's amazing! Even if you read the first book and didn't care for it KEEP READING, it really, REALLY gets better! The plot was just amazing! It was straight forward and intriguing. I was interested the entire time and never got bored, even though it was a little slow at first. There were a ton of twists and action that made me want to keep reading.
The characters were so much more developed in this book. I really liked them a lot more and was able to relate with them. I think that the characters really made this book memorable. I started to respect Rose a lot more in this book. She's really tough and I really enjoyed that. Dimitri was amazing, as always, I really wish he existed... Lissa is still as sweet as ever. I really started to love Christian in this book, he wasn't as arrogant as usual. Same with Adrian, he gained some respect.
The ending proudly did this book justice. It was amazing just like the beginning and the middle. I really liked the ending but it did leave me a little sad. It really made me want to read the next book, which I have already started.
My Favorite Part: This was a hard one... I think it would have to be Dimitri and Rose's relationship. I just really enjoyed it.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? YES BUY IT RIGHT NOW Does this series get better from Vampire Academy? YES just please BUY IT NOW you will not regret it Will I be reading the next book? Yes, I already started it :)

REViEW: The plot was very fresh and unique. I enjoyed how much family played a role in this book. I felt that this book was well written and had a lot of depth to it. I'm not going to lie, this book is very long, but I can honestly say that I enjoyed every minute of it. Once you get into the plot and are absorbed by Ruby's world, you cannot stop reading. This is now my favorite book by Sarah Dessen because the entire book was beautifully written.
This book had a lot more of the amazing Dessen characters. Every character had a distinct personality and attitude towards family and life. The main character, Ruby, although faced with many difficult situations, was still very relatable. I love how her experiences are so different from mine yet I still have a connection to her. She had a difficult time adjusting to her new life and had to make some huge decisions. I loved how she started out hating her new environment and that I was able to see Ruby grow up and learn to love it. I also liked Nate. He's the perfect neighbor. I really enjoyed watching him grow through his struggles. Nate reminded me that everyone has struggles, even if they act like they don't. He was very realistic because through everything he went through he still put on a smile and acted as if everything was perfect.
The ending was very simple and beautiful. It really touched my heart. I was really sad when this book ended because I went on this amazing journey with Ruby and Nate and it made me sad to see it end.
My Favorite Part: The theme of this novel, family. It was fresh and very heartwarming. It made me think about my family and what family even means.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's super good. (less)

REViEW: Haha it's been 4 years since I have read Vampire Academy and still haven't finished the series. I know, I'm insane. It's not that I didn't want to, it's just that I have so many books to read and have trouble keeping up with series. That's why I'm trying my best to catch up on every series I like! I'm not going to lie this is a long series, but it is totally worth it. The writing is so perfect I literally laughed out loud at serveral parts. The plot is so crazy and exciting, it's kind of addicting in a way. This book is amazing, especially after that slowish plot in Blood Promise.
The characters in this book were spot on. Rose is so tough and I really wish I had her in my life. I kind of hope I'm like her in some ways. Her dialogue was so hilarious because she's powerful and she knows it. Lissa is the ultimate good-girl. I love her so much too! She really demonstrated her strength in this book, which was really great. I loved seeing her character evolve. Adrian was also awesome! I really love how different his character is and his family's status fits into the plot. And lastly, Dimitri... Ah how his story is so epic... That's about all I can say without spoiling all this epicness.
Did you not see the 100 in the ending criteria? The ending was fantastic! It had that extra special WOW factor that really knocked my socks off. I'm still in awe of how it ended. It's that kind of ending that makes you feel like you'd do anything to get the next book. I'm definitely going to have to start Last Sacrifice very soon! All in all, BUY THIS SERIES! You won't regret it. The action is priceless, the romance is steamy hot, and the plot twists and turns are jaw-dropping. My Favorite Part: The ending, I so can not wait to finish this series!
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Heck yeah! If you haven't already READ THIS SERIES!! Will I be reading the next book? DUH!!!

This is the fourth book in The Vampire Academy series, I will not post any intentional spoilers but please do not keep reading if you have not read Vampire Academy, Frostbite, and Shadow Kiss.
REViEW: I know probably every YA fan has already finished this series, but I just had to post my thought about this book. If you finished Shadow Kiss you probably ran out and got this book immediately. Honestly, this wasn't my favorite book in the series. It was slow and didn't have much action in it. This book was completely necessary to the plot though. I'm sure it will help more the plot into motion in Spirit Bound. Not much happened in this book but it set up great things to happen in Spirit Bound.
The characters in this book were a lot better than in the previous books. I understood why some characters did what they did and was able to relate to each character. Rose showed some weaknesses which made her more realistic. I didn't like Lissa as much in this book, but her story made sense. Dimitri... I didn't really like him in this book, but that was understandable. I also didn't like Adrian as much in this book. Christian was really realistic. I understood his feelings and agreed with them.
The ending was a little bit shocking. I was expecting a little bit more ,but it still made me anxious to start reading the next book. So if you haven't read the Vampire Academy series yet, go buy it now! It's nothing like Twilight and is a very unique and good vampire book.
My Favorite Part: Rose. It was the first time she felt real to me.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes because this series really is amazing!! Will I be reading the next book? Yes, I just bought it!(less)

REViEW: Ahh I loved this book. I was a little bit apprehensive to start this book. I tryed to read it awhile ago and thought it was so slow and boring. After reading a lot more YA, I realize how beautifully written this book was. The writing is lyrical and really amazing. Ms. Stiefvater's writing is slow, but not boring slow. Her style is just very slow. I did enjoy every minute of it, it's just not the kind of book that is easy to read in one day. The plot was well thought out. It wasn't the typical wolf plot. I liked how she incorporated the changing of wolves into man in warmth. I thought that played very well into this book.
The characters were really believable. I loved Sam. I just didn't think there was much depth about Sam and Grace falling in love. It was just like girl meets boy and automatically start kissing. There was no development of their relationship. I didn't really get to see them fall in love, which I would've liked. The alternate point of views were enjoyable, I liked being able to get inside Sam's head. Some times Sam said things that were the kind of things that Grace would've said. I like it when one author can bring together two distinct voices and make them completely different. At the beginning of the book, I thought that Grace was a sweet, innocent, loner girl, but later on her personality rapidly changed. I don't know if I missed something, but she seemed to be a little bit trampy when Sam came into the picture. It was unexpected. Other than those few things, I loved the characters.
The ending was so beautiful. It really touched my heart. I'm rooting for Sam and Grace's relationship, and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. The ending was pretty simple, but really cute. It actually surprised me a little bit.
My Favorite Part: Sam and Grace's relationship, no question about it. It was so romantic, and I can't help wishing that Sam was my boyfriend.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Absolutely. It's really really good!
Will I be reading the next book? Yes! I plan to buy it very soon!(less)

REViEW: The plot of That Summer was pretty unique. I liked the incorporation of two weddings and constant changes for Haven. It took on more of a family story than a romance. Some descriptions were very lengthy and I found myself thinking "Is this really necessary?" It took awhile to get to the whole point of the novel. The plot was really good but something was missing for me.
I really liked all of Ms. Dessen's characters. There were an array of different personalities and I really enjoyed that. I was able to relate with each in a special way. I loved Sumner's part of the story, he added fun and really surprised me. The characters were all very realistic and relatable.
I really liked the ending. It was simple but really warmed my heart. The sisterly love was enough to make this book great. I really enjoyed this book. It had some disadvantages, but overall it was great. The characters alone are a reason to read this book.
My Favorite Part: Sumner. He lightened the mood, gave Haven a friend, and sounds incredibly handsome.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's a relaxing summer read. This was the second book by Sarah Dessen that I read (the first was This Lullaby). I recommend checking out some other Dessen books because the others that I have read were amazing. I would have to say this is one of my least favorites by her.(less)

REViEW: The plot of this book was quite interesting. I love me a good bullying story and this one did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the journey of learning how to stand up in this book. It set it apart from other books about bullying. I loved the incorporation of writing and how Noelle slowly started to find herself because of it. It was a really great addition to this book. I loved the character growth in this book because I truly believe that that is what advanced this book's plot.
Noelle was a very intriguing protagonist. I loved reading from her perspective because it was very relatable. She started out a little shy and quiet about her rough home life and bullying, but I loved seeing her grow by the end of the book. Seeing her stand up at the end of the book really makes the reader feel the power of just speaking up for whats right. Her best friend, Sherae, was also a very interesting character that I really enjoyed to get to know. Her story of date rape was very honest and I could feel her pain. I only wish I could have read more about the repercussions it had on Sherae's thoughts. Speaking of guys, Noelle begins the book in a terrible relationship with Matt. I felt so bad for Noelle, but I wish she would stop thinking she was so unlovable. She let Matt love her so I didn't really understand why she couldn't be with Julian. It didn't make sense to me. Julian is an amazing guy and I sure as heck wish he went to my school. This world needs more caring gentlemen.
The ending was empowering. Noelle's strong attitude made me want to fight against bullying too. I loved how honest the last few pages were. Having been bullied my whole life, those words hit home and really made me feel less alone. This book is a perfect story of learning how to speak up and to feel your worth as a person. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is being bullied or has been bullied because the last couple of pages will really touch your heart, just as they touched mine.
My Favorite Part: The ending being so dang beautiful and perfect.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes it's really inspirational.(less)

REViEW: This was such a cute book! The fairy theme immediately drew me in. I started this book thinking I was just going to read the first two chapters to see how it is. The problem is, once I started reading, I was hooked! I couldn't stop reading this book. Every event moved so quickly, but not too fast. Pike's writing was so fluent, that it read like water; so simple, yet beautiful. I could see the entire world Pike created and battled the evil trolls alongside Laurel. The whole premise of this novel makes me want to go run out and buy the sequel.
Wing's characters were just plain great! Laurel was such a great character. Although this book was not from point of view, I still felt as if I got an inside look inside her thoughts. It was also very easy for me to relate to Laurel and to put myself in her shoes. I feel that if she was real, she would be one of my best friends. David, oh how I fell in love with him like Laurel. He was so kind and understanding of her whole situation. On the other hand, Tamani was also swoon-worthy. He was the other side of the spectrum; mysterious and dedicated. I sure wouldn't want to choose between him and David.
The ending was really intriguing. I really want to read the sequel now! I would hate to be put in Laurel's position. I can't wait to see how it all unravels throughout the rest of the story though. This book had a lot more to it than I initially expected. I definitely look forward to reading more of Laurel, David and Tamani. If you haven't already, pick this book up. It's such a nice, relaxing read.
My Favorite Part: Tamani's effect on the ending. It blew me away.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's a great book. Will I be reading the next book? Yes, I'm really looking forward to it!(less)
REViEW: This was a powerful, poignant novel. This was the first book by John Green that I have read, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I usually have difficulty reading books by a male author, but this book went beyond my expectations. Green nailed the female perspective and added some wit and humor. This book is definitely not your typical "cancer book". Instead of being completely sad and hopeless, the characters in this book brought life to this book and made light of a serious situation. The writing was an honest, realistic view of teens living with cancer.
The Fault in Our Star's characters were perfect. I know some people who have been living with cancer for their entire life and John Green nailed every little bit of these characters' attitudes. Hazel was such an inspiration. She was tough and strong and I really admired that. It's sometimes hard to find such a strong female protagonist in YA these days. I really loved how she didn't want to hurt anyone around her, it showed her soft side. Augustus was also so great. He was so compassionate and tough. I really loved seeing where their relationship would go. I really became close to all of the characters throughout the book. It killed me when one of them was hurt. They were more than just descriptions on a page.
The ending... ah it made me cry. I really didn't want this book to end. It was a beautiful novel from the first sentence to the last word. Honestly, I think that everyone should read this book just because it gave me a new meaning of life. The characters with cancer in this book were happy and normal, but they were thankful to be alive. I know that I appreciate life much more after reading this book, and I hope that it's the same way for you.
My Favorite Part: The powerful emotion. I laughed, I cried, I fell deeply in love with this book.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's super amazing!
Thank you all for reading! I really hope this book touched your heart as much as it did mine.(less)
