The Plot - This is the second book, so the plot is better and has more to it. Is like this. This super-duper singer has like days to live and she sold her soul for fame and fortune. What’s the biggy? When she dies her soul will end up with this creepy alien or something and she will suffer for like eternity. Soooo, K&N are off to the rescue. That’s a cool and creepy plot. Me like it.
The Characters - We meet this uber ripper. She is really cool and is like a rock star of the rippers. Nash, K, Todd and the other are in there too. K is not yet what once she was, but I keep my hopes up for it.
The Writing - I really like the writing. She has a really good way of telling a story and is enjoyable to read her stuff. First peeps narrative and it follows the first book without any major lapse of time. Really cool.
The Audiobook Recording - Me like it.
Considerations- There’s a lot of longing and eye humping around K&N, and it gets a little tiresome to read about how Nash is hot and perfect and K is like the average and blablabla. I couth myself rolling my eyes around this parts. It was like, get a room already and get it over with. But there were very cool parts. We learn much more about the netherworld (I probably spell it wrong). We see creepier characters and the plot get a lot deeper than in the first one. Some things are a little too obvious, but maybe it’s because I’m too smart. LoL
Or maybe not. LoL
So, the story gets really exciting and our loving trio makes some really hard decisions. The best part was to find out that K is not the lovely girl and she actually has a dark side. She can be evil and I was not stuck in a parallel universe where everybody loves K and she loves everyone back. This was really relieving to know. I have hopes for the next books in this series cose this has a lot of potential.

How can something so beautiful be so lethal?
I love winter and cold, but I’m very susceptible to it. I feel cold all the freaking time. I have to sleep with a blanket even in the summer. Yep, pretty week of me. I was born in the first day of winter, but apparently, I didn’t get the props of extreme cold resistance LoL But I still get amazed of the beauty of it. Even tough it could kill me. I guess that’s why girls like vamps so much. Mesmerizing, cold and lethal
The Plot - Simple, but so, so, so romantic. But is also really scary and with a hint of comedy in it as well. Just like a fun read should be. Since I’m very cold all the freaking time and I tend to feel and see things as I read, yep, I get inside the story when the book is good, I felt pretty much like this in the beginning:
The Characters - Tristan is courageous and so sweet I could bite him. Really a good boy. Grace is this girl with a loving heart and really long legs LoL. She saves Sam from the cold and have no idea in what she got her self into. Ok, I wanted to say so much more, but I have to stop here so I don’t spoil the big ginormous surprise. I’ll just say,,, it’s pretty big LoL
The Writing - 1º person, best ever :D Tristan tell us the story and while reading I felt the cold and even shivered a little. Witch only made my friends from work give me weird looks LoL This have some tricky twists n the writing and can get your head mess up. You think you know what’s going on, but then you find your self slapping your forehead and saying “How foolish of me.”
Considerations - I really liked this story, but I think it could be a little bigger. I wanted to see more of them and stuff. I don’t know nearly enough about Tristan and Grace as I would like to know. They sound really great characters and it left me wanting more. MOOOOOORE!!!!! LoL

yep,, that's a recepie for hooking me up to a book LoL

The Plot - Since this is a prequel, there’s not much going on here. Is just a taste of what to come. Mysterious guy likes pretty and oblivious girl. Something bad happens. I’m left hanging from a cliff. Yep,, I like that plot. LoL
The Characters - Mysterious guy is,, well,, mysterious LoL, but we can see a glimpse of him and I like the way he thinks and how he is so bad ass in one part and as soon as he sees her he kind of melts inside, but has to hide. She is your friend that is beautiful, cool to hang out with and honest. Yep. I mean, who does its own paperwork now a day? Seriously! Well, apparently, Hev does. But, nerds apart, I like them already LoL
The Writing - First person narrative!!!! Can I have a high five? o/
Yep,, my fave. It’s actually split in to Sam’s and Hev’s point of view. So we can see what each of them are thinking and feeling, but the best part is, even though they are really different, the way they thinks is not that different so the jumping from one head to the other doesn’t give you a head each. Her writing is very fluid and she doesn’t over detail which I love. My attention span, as I said before, is of a 5yo and I can’t retain to much info at the same time, specially if is a visual one. I don’t particularly care if the wall paper have daises hand painted by a grand grandmother of the late step father of the neighbor’s cousin. I just want to know what went down in the room, LoL,,, So, yep, really great, down to the point writing ,, high five on that uhuuuu o/
Considerations - The start let my hopes up for the next book and one of the things I really liked was the name: Before. Its about before it all,, before the change, before the start, before the encounter,, simply before,,, luv it cose it has all this meaning linked to it,,, (less)
Review is yet to come, but I'll leave you with a visual aid. This is my face right now and for most part of the story,,
Yep,,I've lost my ability to think straight and the words just slip from my mind,,

You know when people say that appearances don’t matter? That a person’s interior is what it counts? Well, it’s a really sweet thought and wee feel so good about ourselves thinking that people are good and that the interior beauty is what’s important. Well, that’s great and all, but is a load of bull,,, appearances does matter and people, most of them anyway, are shallow and treat you as good as you look. I know that I sound cold and like I have no faith in people, but in some of them, I really don’t. And if you think I’m lying just go ask Heven and she will tell you. Ok, she really won’t cose she is not real, but if she was she totally would.
Ok,, I’m babbling again so lets get to the review so you can see what am I talking about,, LoL,,,
The Plot - A pretty and very pop girl is living her happy and shiny life like the world is all right ,, guys are all over her and she is as oblivious to the things around her as every other cheerleader….
But then, oh, something horrible happens and she becomes, well, not the belle of the ball anymore, so she started to kind of shield her self from people
She is like,, “Oh, I’m a monster, nobody will ever like me no more," Well, that was until ,, someone appears and makes her feel like no one else ever did Before and he is as hot as hell and with a smile that will melt your heart,, LoL
You can say that I like that plot,, I like it very much LoL
The Characters - They are alive, they are aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!!! LoL It’s a little Frankenstein of me, but this is sooooo true. I see them and I feel like I know them too. I love this feeling and the fact that When I’m talking to my friends I keep saying, Oh, is so like when Heven did that and so my friends look at me and say, Like who? And then I remember, Oh, she is not real. LoL, well, in my head she is, but you get the picture. LoL Lets talk about the ones I like the most shall we? Kim, when Heven talks about her I see a hurricane, strong, impulsive and that sometimes can damages in a big way, but she has her heart in the right place and she doesn’t mean to. It’s just her nature and she can’t help it. Cole, I still don’t know what’s up with him, maybe in the next book I’ll figure him out LoL. Heven is a little slow on me and seeing her going around the story was pretty much like watching a baby dear learning to stand on its own, adorable + scary and a little annoying some times but you can’t help the “ohhhhh,,,” that comes with it. Sam I love him. Yeah Heven, I’m not afraid of saying it. I love Sam. I can even sing it:
Loving you is easy Cause you're beautiful (and super duper hot) Making love with you (prrrrrr) Is all I wanna to do Loving you is more than Just a dream comes true Cause everything that I do (every single thing) Is out of loving you
The Writing - I’ve said this already. Cambria is the bomb and her writing is enchanting. First person perspective and I get to see trough Sam’s eyes,, Cambria, your writing got me in Sam’s POV. I love being inside his head and I really wanted to be inside his heart. Oh, crap. I just got all fangirl over this review and I really didn’t want to. Dam Cambria, look what you did to me!!!!!!!
Considerations - First I would like to say thank you Cambria for letting me read this beautiful story even before its release. Thank you!!!!!! Is really a great book and the only reason that it took me so long to read it is my lack of time and the reason that it took me sooooo long to do my review is that I had so many things to say and all of them were ginormous spoilers so I had to redo it like 20 times before I got it right LoL. Even though I really love this book, there’s still one thing that I didn’t care so much: high school and the blab bla bla about he said, she said. This is one of those occasions that I say: I’m too old for this shit. I get that it’s part of the story and all, but I can’t help drag myself trough that part of the story. But I can say how much I love everything after that hell was over: A LOT!!! As I said before, I’m too old for this shit, LoL
Aside from this slow part that it was just slow cose of me and my terrible memories of high school (hummpf) the story is worth the pain,, really. We see Heven evolve into a powerful girl and ,,sorry, I can’t say it cose this is the best part of the book, to read and learn and see things with Heven and just like her, to be in the dark until the magic moment when light hit you and take your breath away. I think my heart just gave a jump just thinking about it. LoL
I recommend this book to everyone that believes in love and how it can change you in the most deep and meaningful way. I tried to be profound and stuff, but I winded up babbling, as usual,, sorry LoL (less)
