Well, Naomi did. Naomi loves to lie and she loves to think of Ely the moment she wakes up in the morning. She even wanted him to touch her breast for lump examination. Both of them are hot which makes them a perfect couple the only problem is that Ely is fond of rainbows and hard abs, yes, he is gay. They have this list called No Kiss List which is an aftermath of a long ago spin the bottle party. The privileged of having a gay bff is having fun and laughter 24/7, almost. Ely had furtively and unintentionally stole Naomi’s boyfriend Bruce the 2nd which totally fucked up their friendship. The relationship now tousled, they need new persons to be involved with their life because it’s a big lie to say there’s only one person you’re going to be with for the rest of your life.
I love this book among the other 2 books that I have read from the same authors. Naomi and Ely were just impeccable characters for the YA community.
Thoughts to ponder: What’s up with the Bruce’s?
I love the correlation linking their 3 books. They have the similar club in it which makes me giddy wishing that all the characters from the 3 novels to accidentally meet inside it.
I was waiting for the list to make its grand drama but it didn’t maybe the authors doesn’t want the story to revolve around it since the majority of the plot revolves around the two protagonists.
The idea of reading the story from different POV is two thumbs up! I’m a sucker for sidekicks and minor roles so I just pee myself because all the minor roles have their own chapters weeeeee! ...more

Our main character is A, and every day he transfers from one body to another and it started ever since he was born. One day he woke up in the body of Justin who has a girlfriend who he just ignores most of the time.
A doesn’t really meddle with the life of his host so that the host won’t distinguish something that is unusual the other day. But A can’t help himself to fall for Rhiannon, Justin’s girlfriend. So every time he transfers to another vessel he makes sure to find a way to connect himself to her.
I feel sorry for A. He can’t stop and just have a normal life like the others but also it would be amazing to live your everyday life as another individual. Throughout the story there are some questions that I can’t really understand like why it happens or even if A was a he or a she though he calls himself Andrew.
It’s a must read and I recommend it to everyone. ...more

Harry has fervor for cooking which started as a simple indulgence, but unfortunately leads to his optimum growth that was not healthy anymore. The dilemma started with Harry winning a scale at their company’s Christmas party. He found out he was obese though they don’t need a machine to tell them that. Francie, the ever compassionate wife, put Harry on a strict diet, made him go to support group with the same situation, influences him to go to the gym and be more active in his life activities. Everything was going smoothly, Harry was shedding pounds and is gaining confidence back, but something was escaping. They’re marriage. Without the big pound of fat on Harry girls are now actually looking at him and with his added confidence and job promotion he was a perfect pseudo bachelor. Francie did her job to prolong her husband’s life but did not anticipate something like this to happen but making decisions can alter another and she just did what she has to do. She dealt with it.
I could relate to Harry I just couldn’t stop eating. It’s an easy way to reward yourself and also a stress reliever. And just like Harry I noticed that the pounds are already getting into me and I have to do something. I exercised and try to eat healthy once in a while. I know the feeling of being fat and big, and I have surpassed the problems with weight along the way it’s a matter of perspective how focus are you to pull yourself together and make yourself a better you.
I love the book it’s fast-faced and very cozy. I recommend it to everyone who loves to eat and eat and eat more and more.

Magaling magpaikot (in a good way), strong at independent.
Salamat! ...more

After the lost of Anna, Cas has been having this peculiar sightings of her everywhere and he concluded that she is in trouble after saving them months ago. With the help of Gideon and this so called “cult” the Order of the Biodag Dubh who apparently created the athame, is his only chance of saving her but with a price. Being untrue to his profession the Order decided that Cas needs a replacement, someone who will not break the rules and will follow everything they say and together they need to cross over to hell to fulfill both of their intentions.
The story was short and there wasn’t much of tension that I was expecting unlike in the first book. Also the creepiness subsides a little bit. But the ending was something to look forward to.
Fast-faced, less bloodcurdling and a good cliffhanger at the end. ...more

What do you get when abruptly out of nowhere strangers from a train crash invade your house in the middle of your birthday party? Chaos!
Elizabeth Torrington was celebrating her birthday even though their house is in jeopardy and they might need to live somewhere very soon. The whole thing was going fine when all of a sudden a mob of stranded passengers came for refuge from a train crash. There’s nothing they can do but to give asylum to the helpless. But with the party to be considered the events became chaotic. They have to tend the needs of the passengers while preparing the party needs. Charlie Traversham-Beechers, a very peculiar man of grace, was one of the stranded passengers. He excluded himself from the other passengers even from the chores of helping them or assisting the hosts of his refuge. After celebrating the party and tending the needs of the strangers, the next morning, everyone was stunned. It’s as if none of it was real. Like they weren’t any stranded passengers who came and look for help. To add to that obscurity, the father of the household announced good news. Someone left them wealth which can save them the house and be safe from anymore trouble.
The phasing of the story was very sluggish and the development of the plot and the characters were not that superb either. The only part of the story that caught my interest was when the time they were playing the game made-up by Charlie wherein they need to isolate one person and tell bad stuffs about them. The rest of the story was very dull and not that appealing for me I just wanted to get through with it. It did redeem itself in the ending. I had Goosebumps after finishing it. I didn’t anticipate that kind of closure especially since my expectation was very slow because of the transition of the story.
It’s a non-readable for me. It's the kind of book you only read because you don't have anything to read or to do anymore.

It’s about Cas Lowood who inherited his father’s work after being found dead and his body in chunks in search of a ghost. Together with his mom who is a witch and their cat that apparently can see ghost, they journey a lot in look for ghosts that needs to be disciplined. Their next stop is Thunder Bay, Ontario. His next target is Anna Korlov who lives inside their old boarding house with her blood stained dress and is having killings free in their neighborhood. Cas, who is by now an expert in slaying ghosts, had made a mistake of judging Anna. She wasn’t your ordinary ghost and for a reason she can’t seem to find the reason to kill Cas either. He found the real reason for her death and together they’ve found love even though it’s kind of creepy and unusual, and things don’t go easily for them. Things that might be a hindrance for them and is up to Cas and his co-ghost busters to help and save Anna.
There are a lot of interesting characters but I love Carmel the most. She breaks the wall between your fabulous teenage blonde bitch and audacious combating girl. Her character doesn’t do much in the story but I just love her presence in the book.
I love the book. It’s extraordinary. Blake, has this talent in writing wherein the readers won’t be able to stop reading her books because of its amazing fast phased style and the environment it builds that will keep you reading till dark. Least favorite part is how the protagonist, Cas, sort of remind me of Harry Potter. He is the “chosen one” but he’s stubborn and needs a lot of help from his friends. His character didn’t develop much either.
I recommend the book to everyone it’s a must read! ...more

Our main character was Ethan, he was abducted when he was 7, and he find his way back to his family when the one who abducted him left him and he strive to live on the street and ending on a home for the homeless youth. When he finally returned to his family he can’t remember even a single memory about them or about the young him. They started therapy as a family together to cope with the situation but nothing can help him to regain his memory. That’s where the story takes off.
I feel sorry for Ethan’s character because he thought that his world is finally taking its shape and everything’s going to be alright. He had started a foundation about his new life or supposedly his real life only to find out in the end the truth will only shatter him. The element of surprise was there in the ending and I can’t help feeling anxious for Ethan and what will happen to him. The open ending in the end was just frustrating but at the same time it was a great closure to a very surreal kind of story.

America Singer who is a Five (instead of factions/districts/groups they have caste), was selected to participate in The Selection to become the princess and future wife of Prince Maxon of Ilea who is a One. Before departing, America has to leave her former lover Aspen and her family and live together with other 34 girls in the palace with the royal family. Little by little she and the prince are having a special bond between them that the others didn’t know about and little by little the girls are going home one by one because for some reasons that the prince can’t connect with them (just like in the reality show) however others abscond mainly because of the threat being brought by the rebels attacking the palace. Due to the danger circulating and the tension of The Selection, Prince Maxon had decided to trim down the girls and make it just 6 or so called The Elites. He decided to keep America but what he doesn’t know is that America’s past might interfere with their present bliss.
I had fun reading The Selection and I absolutely love America. She is one of those strong female protagonists, someone who is firm and can handle tough situations and none of those damsels in distress type of ladies. I adore the writing of Kiera Cass it doesn’t get you bored even though her characters didn’t developed much, I hope they will on the second book though. I recommend the book to everyone and it’s a must read to all YA readers. ...more
