Once again Claudy has me on the edge of my seat and irritated at the same time. Edge of the seat just when something exciting was happening I was wow and the tension between Chance and Royce I was like oh come on already do it! Lol but then you also had that person in the book where you loved and hated them. I loved and hated prince Pestale. He was charming, lovable but so frustrating at the same time. I can't wait to read the next book in this series and see what happens next with all the characters. I would love to give Claudy more stars, I haven't found a book that she wrote I didn't like! Amazing!(less)

I started reading it on the way home (which I live in ohio so long way home) I finished it before we even got out of the state of South Carolina. I just couldn't put it down fr the very beginning i was hooked! Ford Aston is one of those stuck up rich assholes well that's what it looks (sounds) like but deep down he's not. He is in loves with his best friends girlfriend, she knows it his best friend knows it so what choice does he have to do but get away from everything. He gets into his car and just starts driving and doesn't stop and doesn't look back. When his truck breaks down in a small town that he he use to grow up in he checks into a hotel while going to his room he hears a baby cry and that one moment his entire life is changed. Ashleigh the mother of the crying baby is down on her luck with a newborn baby girl and Ford is way out of her league and she knows it but doesn't care. They start playing this game between them then Ford drives her to see the baby's father but only learns the truth that breaks everyone's heart. I cried at the ending of this book and was so happy that it ended the way it did hell I was beyond happy how the whole book was written and the plot. J.A Huss is beyond talented and deserves a metal for this book, I haven't read any or her books and let me tell you what I will read every book she has written and will write. I am so honored to have met this author and got a sign copy of this book I will cherish it. Thank you so much J. A for writing this book and giving me the chance to read it and meeting you! Whoever hasn't read this book please do you will not regret it!(less)

I think that's why I actually like this book and I don't like reading werewolves because they basically the same someone gets bite n blah blah but this one goes into detail and the main character Mackenzie you could say is the perfect person to get bitten. Why do you ask because she is a freshman in college and is actually studying mythology & folklore which is kinda awesome. After a football game she is attached by a "big dog" and after that moment everything changes but doesn't it always? After this point I start to feel sorry for Mackenzie because she drops out of college, looses her job basically saves her old life behind and tries to figure out what's going on with herself because she is healing quickly, and getting stronger. You have the same story plot about a love triangle between Mackenzie, Liam and Geoff you never know who you hope wins because they all sound yummy. The only problem I had with the book was that there were some grammar issues which should've been caught by proof reading and the editor. I would recommend this book to friends and family.(less)

You could say her that her grandmother is all she has because she doesn't talk to her mother and has never met her dad. Just like any love story is all starts with a party one without any parents. Amanda meets Mitch which is a demon, Mitch knows there is something wrong with Amanda by the look in her eyes. Then the story really takes off, I won't talk about what happens in the book because I'm afraid if I do then I would reveal a lot and spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it. I thought this book started kind of slow and I was at some point kind of confused at the same point. It was like when Amanda had to a of questions and she turned to Mitch but when he didn't know the answers or when his answers where cryptic I was lost. But when there was finally some action and answers I was so excited I couldn't put the book down. The author did a great job with having an amazing plot but needs to work on keeping the reading involved or hooked you could say. (less)

Once I was told this book was a paranormal romance, I couldn't wait to read it I mean its one of my favorite genres, not to mention the author is one of my favorites authors shes really talented. But it had no vampires, no werewolves or magic I know you are probably thinking what no vampires or magic why would you read this book I say because you should!! Chessa, Charlie, Ryan and Mickey are all the main characters could be compared to anyone I know, I felt like they are so real I could be talking to them at any time and point. Within this story there are twist and turns you wouldn't expect. I don't believe in giving away any good parts of the book or the main parts in the book I for one hate spoilers so therefore I won't be a part of it. Lets just say I was biting my nails alot. Chessa and Charlie I feel this book were mostly about them because they didn't know what all they had in common and the book didn't let you know the bad guys. I would say through this book shouldn't be classified as paranormal romance it should be given the genre of science romance.
If you love science, romance, and suspense then read this book! Not to mention the author is talented with bringing out real life characters and plots.
5 stars out of 5 stars I would give this book more stars if allowed!(less)
