Thats the reason why I had picked up the books to read thinking I would love the books. And if I had read this book earlier then I would have actually related to it. But unfortunately the book slump plus bratty teenage characters didn't give this book any chance to be liked at all. I just wanted to get it over with. Though I still liked the end of this book. My most favorite character in movies was Lena but in the books I liked Bridget more. Her character had more depth than Carmen who was real Evil, Lena (depressed), Tibby was ok. Plus I really liked the way she dealt with her issues. So this book was not all bad just not my type for the moment. Any other time I might actually have liked it. I wont be reading any other books in this series but I might read books by Ann because I loved her writing style. The letters were awesome which were throughout the book written by all four. The friendship bond was total noteworthy in this book because I could absolutely relate to that. ...more

Its been a long time coming. I mean not that I don't love this series but after the 12th book I just wanted to see it come to an end. I wanted to see finally who Sookie ended up with. No I am not gonna reveal who did. But I would have been happier to not read this installment at all because I knew what was gonna happen. The story was confusing and writing was completely rushed. I could feel that the author just wanted to end the series. Tie all the loose ends and blow all the rest to heaven. I am quiet disappointed that it all had to end in such a disastrous way. I wouldn't recommend reading this to even my enemy.

The cover sizzling hot and the blurb at the back of the book made the book sound so very interesting plus I had heard rave reviews about this book. But, I just couldn't get myself to like this book. Initially I thought Ashton was an okay-ish character. So yes she is attracted to her boyfriend's cousin. so, what? This could happen. Plus they had history. since they all were childhood friends. I could understand but then the plot seemed to thicken and for me it just made the book worse. Maybe Ashton just wasn't a gal I could relate to. She is bold but she doesn't stand up for herself when all hell breaks loose. Just didn't gel with the character's mould she was set in. And Beau....I hated Beau from the start. His bad boy vibes (I do love bad boys..) didn't appeal to me at all. Sawyer on the other hand. I like him....Which was the only reason I wanted to finish this book so I could move on to his story...I felt for him...Poor Guy ...Betrayed by the two most trusted people. There were quite a few grammatical errors but they didn't bother me much. I loved the cover...Its is so yum....!!...more
