After, all what woman hasn't want a rich man with a huge cock to make all her exes jelly. Better yet, a faithful loving man with a big cock!
But Damn, I experienced some major whip lash. I was flung from the past to the present and back again with the flip of a page. I couldn't take the time to fully appreciate the story for having to keep up with what reality the characters were in (past/present), it was exhausting at times.
However, if you think for one minute that I didn't like the book or that I'm passing on book 2.... you would be wrong.
Furthermore, I'm more than elated to know that the second book is ready for me to devour with that freaking bitch of a cliff hanger! ...more

I shall not tell a lie, drum roll please.... . . . This is one of the few books I picked based off the synopsis alone. I know hard to believe, I was shocked myself. But I have enjoyed the nuances of this story so much that I opted to read three times over before penning a few thoughts.
This is my first book by Annie Arcane, but not my first hero/heroine choosing to live life with a disability. Because let's face it, not one person including myself woke up one day and decided well I want my body to place physical limitations on me from here on out. However, we do choose to live and not be told we can't, which is exactly what Cale chooses everyday. Now that has bothered him until... This girl. For this girl he would walk through the bowls of Hell to reach.
From the first page until the very last word I devoured Heart Broken and was led wanting more. My only complaint was it had the feel the story just abruptly ended and will hopefully pick back up in the next installment. ...more

I found Detective Moon to be very entertaining. The entire tale had a comical feel to it with some dramatic undertones of life tossed in. ...more

It was a fun and sexually charged read. My only complaint is really a question, what is up with all the ducking biting?? Sorry, but if some fucker, regardless if I'm in love with him or not, bites me. I'll be the last bitch he bites with his own teeth.
I'm looking forward to the second book because things will soon be on.......more
2 Star Read: Enlightenment is the first book in The Driel Trilogy. I was drawn to the book because I fell head over heels for every story I have read2 Star Read: Enlightenment is the first book in The Driel Trilogy. I was drawn to the book because I fell head over heels for every story I have read that involves elves. However, I didn’t find myself covered in the warm fuzzes while reading. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t dislike Enlightenment nor I didn’t love it.
I felt short changed in end. The characters had potential to become something more but they were flat. I think I would have loved to spend more time on developing Thea, Eli, Isaac, and the other elves. I would have enjoyed building a connection with the character instead of the rushed pace push to move from one scene to the next.
Overall It was okay but didn’t like the book all that much. However, the characters were borderline from unlikable to a few exceptions some were likable at best neutral at worst the plot was a bit poor. The writing was much better than expected with a few exceptions. I developed some interest in the book but not enough to sustain me but I withstood d to the end. Being part of a series, at least one thing peeked my interest to continue (the hope of character and plot development). Even though the plot was somewhat original or had its own unique flair, the romance was for lack of a better description flawed on more levels than one. The male/female leads had forced to very little chemistry, etc. Everything was too easily predictable. Overall, ok maybe some redeeming value!

4 Star Kindle Unlimited Read: Honestly, if you know me, even if through social media such as: Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Smashwords, or Blo4 Star Kindle Unlimited Read: Honestly, if you know me, even if through social media such as: Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Smashwords, or Blogger, you know my first reasons for being attracted to this book. Can I get a "hello, can I buy you a drink?" From Mr. Hottie abs on the cover. Second, goes the title. Well, since I'm after my own Prince, I thought, what the Hell and went for a trifecta, the synopsis. "Sold!" I even failed to check out the author or the blurbs from the lucky ARC reader's.
Kim Karr did not fail me, again. It appears that I have read Karr before and loved every minute of it! Holiday Prince was no exception. I admired the fact that the author stayed focused on the budding romance versus getting pulled in by the limelight that the male lead was a child star and the child of former stars.
So what does that leave with? Just man and a woman. The hot young man looking to find his success in life and tired of the meaninglessness panty dropping strings of pointless hook-ups. The woman, seeking her Prince in a world full of toads and frogs.
The question being is will she be able to look past his bad boy panty dropping reputation to the heart of a man who just wants to find a real love. And will he be able to put is untraditional family bonds aside and go for the woman who has truly taken his heart?
Will this frog become her Prince or will she lean towards the true life Prince she met before the world as she knew it was turned upside down when the web of lies and deceit came crashing down all around her?
This is definitely a must read for anyone who love a good lighthearted romance with njust a touch of angst. I absolutely loved the story and hope that one day, Silver's Playbook will find its way into my life and I wind up with a man to love me through thick and thin while dropping my panties in passion.
Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!! ...more
