You walked right into my trap, now I'll take you to my torture chamber and you'll tell me the location of the Gold Griffin Gemstone, by the time I'm through with you,” he said in a deep throaty voice followed by a menacing laugh. I felt Brian start to walk away when one of the ladies shouted, “Where the hell do you think you’re going? We wanna watch.”
Oh, yeah, me too, but at least I could read about it. Fun, sweet, role-playing kinkiness with Molten Man and Dark Fist.

Striker asked if I was ready, I absently nodded my head. I was expecting us to circle around each other, waiting for an opening to make a move but as soon as I nodded Striker was on me. "You're gonna have to be faster than that if you want to win, baby, and trust me you want to win. Winner gets a very special prize," he whispered in my ear.

“I’ll buy you a new squeaky toy. That’s a sweet deal. You would be a fool not to take this.” It definitely got her attention, as she rolled back over and sat up, her little tail going back and forth. She was so adorable, you’d never suspect that beneath all of that cuteness there was a manipulative mastermind preparing for galactic domination.
The sex scene was kinky and surprising.
“You can’t be in here without a warrant.” I said weakly. His hands went to the wall on both sides of my shoulders, caging me. “I’m off duty.” “You’re still in uniform.” I nervously licked my bottom lip and watched as his eyes tracked my tongue’s movement. “I can change that.”

“I’ve seen him looking at you too, the same way you look at him,” Mark said, as we jumped back on the truck heading to the next house. “What look is that?” “You know, the I-want-you-so-so-bad-but-I’m-too-chicken-shit-to-even-say-hi look.”
“I think I have a better idea. It involves at least one of us getting naked.” “That” —I swallowed— “sounds like an amazing idea.”

Mason is a librarian who loves his job (since he loves to read), wears cardigans and actually thinks they are sexy. He lives with his dirty-mouthed lesbian grandmother, and has a similarly outspoken best friend, Twyla.
“Cardigans can be very sexy.” “Really? Go into the bathroom, stare into the mirror, then come back out here and tell me if you’d fuck yourself.”
Shane is not only beautiful, but he is a complete sport and fitness junkie with a health-food obsession and a rocking body. Mason never thinks he has a chance with such a hot guy, but despite their differences, or maybe because of them, Shane finds everything sexy about Mason. Insomuch that he even develops a bookworm related kink…
The romance is uncomplicated and lovely, the erotica is fine, the main and the secondary characters are well-drawn. But the best about this story is the humor. The dialogues and the situations are hilarious and amusing.
“What’s your poison?” “Rum and coke.” Mona Lisa frowned. “You know we don’t serve alcohol.” She said alcohol the way sane people say shit right after they’ve stepped in it. “Okay,” I said with defeat, “what do you suggest?” “I can whip you up a wheatgrass-pineapple smoothie.” Sounds revolting. “Okay.” “You’ll love it. It’ll really improve the taste of your semen.” “Make it a double.”
A highly recommended, sweet and fun romance! (less)

Lucas Hensley and Cameron Fletcher longed for each other secretly for months, and now they have to work together. They have sixty-five hours to come up with a shining new advertisement campaign for a lifestyle product company.
Both Lucas and Cameron are awesome characters. Lucas is amazing with his humor, openness, irresistible hat tip gesture on his invisible hat, and his foot fetish.
"Care to explain the hat tipping thing, Mr. Hensley?" "When I was little, there used to be an old man who sat outside the general store, and every time I'd walk in there with my Mom, he'd tip an invisible hat. He wouldn't say a word, just do this hat-tipping thing. My Mom would smile for a full five minutes. It made all the ladies smile." I smiled myself as I recalled. "When I was about six, I did it to Mrs. Barnett at the grocery store, and she gave me a lollipop for being a gentleman."
And the beautiful, “almighty”, immaculate and distant Cameron Fletcher, with his sweetness and sock fetish.
Evidently, they are made for each other.
I loved the situation (forced together to create a campaign for a condom and sex aids company - hilarity ensues!), loved the main characters, loved their parents – they are perfect.
Yes, the story is perfection and full of sweetness, but the author somehow manages to serve it all that you never get cheesed off.
The erotica is the best: kinky, scorching hot and laugh-out-loud funny at the same time.
"Oh, holy shit!" Cameron cried. "They really do glow in the dark!" I returned to the bed after flipping the light switch and knelt back on the bed. "I told you!" I shuffled up to him, both of us on our knees, our illuminated cocks protruding between us.
I felt the conflict a little bit forced, but that is my only complaint.

Reading the blurb I was worried a little, but there is no threat that would make them apart.
Yes, they have problems but there is nothing they can’t solve. The problems are external, and not within them. Their love is unwavering, and their trust and certainty in each other is unquestionable.
I love to see couples after their happy ending. Of course, I love novels ending with HEA (actually, I hate books with no HEA) but it is much better. It is so great to get more of a wonderful couple, to witness them to settling into their relationship.
Tom is the perfect partner for Cooper: he is supportive and comprehending. Everything he does for Cooper and for their relationship comes natural to him. Maybe not always for the first time, but eventually he knows how to make special moments beautiful and memorable.
Both Tom and Cooper are awesome, and together they are gorgeous!
The title is perfect, just as the titles of the two previous books are, oh, and the architectural references to their relationship – so fitting.
This series was an absolute delight to read. Highly recommended! (less)

Tom and Cooper’s relationship has to withstand the first real difficulties. Coming out as a couple with that much age difference is not easy.
I wanted them to know about the person who challenged me, who drove me crazy, who made me laugh. Who loved me.
Facing with their family members’ reaction is sometimes tough, sometimes annoying, but they manage to overcome it. And it is still better than losing the chance to tell them. Tom’s loss is sad, yes, but it is so much a Hollywood-like scene that I didn’t feel it real.
Cooper and Tom are sweet and hot together, their relationship is strong and develops wonderfully. I enjoyed Cooper’s banter, and seeing Tom to lighten up a bit was lovely.

Thomas Elkin is an icon in the architecture world. He is successful, uptight and very lonely. He is “expensive, polished and predictable.” But life is not predictable at all, and now it brings a delicious, mesmerizing surprise. It’s Cooper.
Cooper Jones is a young, dedicated and very talented architect. And he is seriously and irresistibly hitting on Tom.
Jesus. I wasn’t imagining things. This kid was seriously flirting with me. Fuck. I should have stopped it. But I couldn’t. While the logical, sensible side of my brain was telling me to put an end right now to this nonsense, the selfish, infatuated, stupid part of my brain wanted it. My body wanted it. I looked back at him, at his smug little smile, then snatched the jar of peanut butter from his hand. “Flattery in a jar, huh?”
Their interactions are lovely and sparkling, told from Tom’s viewpoint. His insecurities about his age are slowly thinning by Cooper’s persistency and charm.
Cooper’s enthusiasm and flattery sometimes was too much, but it was smartly balanced with his old man jokes.
"No jokes about the elderly?" I asked. "Yesterday you were full of cheek about my age." "Can you remember yesterday?" he asked, wide-eyed. "Your Alzheimer medication must really work." "You're such a little shit."
Elements of Retrofit is an engaging and sweet story with humor and steamy sex scenes. Highly recommended!
