He knew she calmed me. She quoted me. She made the anger go away, most of the time.
"Yeah, but that was before I fell in love with you." He stood up, grabbing his shirt. Then he walked out, pulling it on.
Sadly me and this book had some issues. I liked a lot of it, there were really sweet moments between Caden and Summer and them falling for each other was a slow, sweet ride. I especially loved the scene at the beginning of their friendship when she fell asleep in his arms in his house while they were watching a movie. And Caden was very gentle, loving and protective of Summer. But their "love" scenes felt like one giant tease to me. There were hints from the very beginning of their friendship that they were both sexually attracted to each other, and the build up to their eventual first night together was a gradual built up and it happened at the right moment, but then all the heavy "sexy" moments ended up being glossed over. I'm the first to admit I'm on a bender of "dirty-talking, heavy breathing, naughty books" right now, but unfortunately this book just teased me the entire time and felt extremely like a YA even though the main characters were all adults and in college. Just wish there had been "more..."...more
"Let me sum this up, just to be sure I understand. You agree not to notify the sheriff if I promise to be your sex tutor?" He glances up at her.
Taking"Let me sum this up, just to be sure I understand. You agree not to notify the sheriff if I promise to be your sex tutor?" He glances up at her.
Taking in her big eyes, soft, sleep-tousled hair, and extremely kissable mouth, he realized he now had a hard spot for her as well. The soft spot was easier to accept.
He had an uncomfortable suspicion that his eager student intended to use what she learned to blow the pants off someone else.
"Simmer down, Doc. I'm about to show you why." With that, he placed her foot in the V between his legs, so there was no way she could miss the highly compelling evidence supporting his argument. "You do this to me just the way you are. No fancy underwear or how-to book needed."
"Before in the bedroom, you said you trusted me. Trust me now and let go. I want to watch your eyes go dark and dreamy, I want to hear that little cry you make right before you come. I want to feel your body tremble for me."
This was a sweet book. And I liked Tyler. However, Ellie's utter naivety about seeing what was right in front of her eyes and everyone's hints towards what she wasn't seeing drove me bonkers at times and kind of took away some of the charm of the book for me. Besides that, it was a cute, sweet, quick read....more

"It's going to happen again. You might as well admit it." With a huff, she pushes a hand through her hair and glares. "No. It. Won't." "Yes. It. Will." I don't want to be an asshole, but I'm not deluded. "I want you. You want me." A wry laugh escapes me. "Though I think 'want' is too weak a word here. 'Crave,' maybe. 'Am insane for,' definitely."
The gentle exploration of my neck doesn't stop, and his voice drops low and tender. "Some people never understand the gift they have." A light pressure on the back of my neck eases me closer to his warmth. "And some people wait a lifetime to have someone to love."
"And who doesn't love Queen?" I give him a little nudge, just the barest move of my elbow against his arm. "I mean, isn't We Will Rock You like every Jock's anthem?"
"Your voice isn't noise. It's a song I want to hear over and over."
"I thought I told you, Jones. I always notice when you're around."
"I think you're beautiful," he says softly. "Beauty fades," I choke out. "Not when it comes from inside."
"But you won't let me kiss you," he says to me in the dark. "Why won't you let me kiss you, Anna?" I can't breathe. "Why, Anna?" "It's too much," I rasp. "Not when I want everything." He says it so deep and strong, a staking of a claim. "And I want everything with you, Anna."
"Shit! I'm stuck on the stick." Drew laughs harder. "Don't you dare make stick jokes," I warn through a laugh. "I'm too busy trying to get my ass out of the steering wheel."
It's so quiet that when he whispers in my ear, my whole body shivers from the sound. "You've destroyed me, Anna Jones." I know exactly what he means, because he's destroyed me too.
"I was afraid. Shit." I take an unsteady breath, feeling sick. "You shine so brightly, Drew. And it's beautiful to me, but I didn't know how to live under your light." He frowns, his expression growing fierce. But his words are low, strong. "What people see? That is only gloss. But, Anna, you light me up. Drew. Not the player. You didn't know how to live under my light? I don't have a light anymore unless you're there."
I shake my head. "I used to think that if I figured out what I wanted to do with my life, everything would fall into place. Now," I shrug, "now I'm thinking that happiness is never going to be having the perfect job, house, life. It isn't a destination, you know? It's a series of moments. I mean, isn't that what life is? Moments? The here and now?"
"We are, all of us, fucked up in some way," she says. "The only difference is a matter of how deep out crazy goes and how we handle our shit. Frankly, I think the crazy comes and goes in cycles."
"You are the best man I've ever known. You helped me become the person I've always wanted to be. You're everything, Drew." My breath leaves in a shudder of frustration. "I don't even know how to tell you how much you mean to me."
This book broke my heart and put it back together so many times. I absolutely loved it, despite all the tears it had me shedding. A perfect HEA after a hard struggling of finding each other. can't wait to read Grey's story next....more

He could share anything with her. Wren might tease him playfully - like she had about his ringtone - but she didn't want to change him. With her, he could be himself. She freed him and bound him to her all at once.
He was open; she was closed. He was fearless; she was terrified. He was flawless; she was ruined. He had peace; she had pain. In the throes of their lovemaking that first time, she's told him the truth. She wanted to be just like him. To be open and fearless and flawless and peaceful.
Leave a Mark by Stephanie Fournet was an enjoyable read. I liked the dynamic between Wren and Lee, seemingly opposite people, but when you looked deeper you could see how perfectly they truly complimented each other. Lee only had people around him that wanted to change who he was to fit the picture of who they thought he should be. Wren was hiding from a childhood of horrors by covering her skin in her artwork and not letting someone in to deeply in a romantic sense. When these too finally found each other, it was electric, but they both had big hurdles to overcome in order to keep each other.
If you haven't read this one yet, I really suggest it. You won't regret it. ...more

"Never, baby. I already told you all the things I can't give you but I can give you me." "Good," she nodded, "because you're all I want, Orion."
Stories never ended, not really. One chapter just piled on top of the next and shit just kept going that way for all time. It always would.

I really enjoyed this read. Saylo"Go to sleep now, my beautiful girl. You've found my heart. This is real. It'll still be here in the morning." - Cord
I really enjoyed this read. Saylor and Cord were perfect together and that they found each other despite their past together as children in a small town, was perfect. Enjoyed how it was always just Cord, Creed and Chase trying to over come their family history together and that they got out together and survived together. They were rough kids and teenagers, that turned into rough adults but who still had a sweet center to those they cared about.
Cord wasn't always the best to Saylor when he was younger (a large part due to Chase, who thankfully mans up and admits his part), but that Cord tries his hardest to show Saylor how regretful he is about what happened and that he wants to be her man now, was beautifully written.
Can't wait to see how Creed and Chase find their happily ever after. Loved these triplets.

Only for a Night was a hit for me. Rion was yummy as all get out and Harper had just the right amount of innocence despite her HUGE desire to explore the sexual arts and desires.
And don't even get me started on Sasha!! OMG I swooned for him almost more then I did for Rion. Really hope there's a story coming out for him soon. Like tomorrow!! Or yesterday!!
I enjoyed this short read though I wish there would have been an epilogue at the end cause it really cuts off to bluntly for me.
(view spoiler)[Firsr book I've ever read with two guys and one girl before. Rion was probably a lot more sharing because he saw Harper's curiosity for it and the fact that Sasha is one of his closest of friends and allies. More like a brother to him. Needless to say, the sex scenes with these three... HOT!! (hide spoiler)]["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>...more

From beginning to end. Nick and Harper were completely adorable together. And while Harper had to practically trick Nick into letting go and trying I was quick to learn Nick wanted nothing else but her.
In externally grateful there wasn't too much played out drama (unnecessary in most books now a days)!
Also loved having two epilogues. And the friendship already. While they gave you a hard time they had your back.
I WANT MORE NICK AND HARPER!! <3
I'd give 10 out 5 stars if that were an option....more
