From beginning to end. Nick and Harper were completely adorable together. And while Harper had to practically trick Nick into letting go and trying I was quick to learn Nick wanted nothing else but her.
In externally grateful there wasn't too much played out drama (unnecessary in most books now a days)!
Also loved having two epilogues. And the friendship already. While they gave you a hard time they had your back.
I WANT MORE NICK AND HARPER!! <3
I'd give 10 out 5 stars if that were an option....more

"You're a dumb shit. ThFighting for everything made fighting for the things that actually mattered get lost in the noise and lose their significance.
"You're a dumb shit. There's a million first girls for a million different first things. There's the first girl you slow-dance with, and the first girl you go to bed with. There's the first girl to give you a kiss, and then the first one you take home to your mama." His amber eyes lit up with humor. "There's the first girl you fight with and the first girl you fight for. There's also the first girl you have to let go of. There's the first you love, obviously, and the first girl to break your heart. There's always a first girl, Rowdy, but there is also the girl that is going to come after her until you get to the last girl. The last girl is the one that really matters."
"I feel like you and the past have been chasing me down ever since you walked into the shop, Salem." She didn't answer me but I noticed a little pink work its way into her dusky cheeks. "What are you going to do if I decide to let you catch me?"
"I have plenty of friends, Salem. I don't want to get any of them naked or take any of them to bed. We don't need to try and be friends again- we always were. That never went away - you did. You started this game of chase, so when you figure your shit out let me know because I'm already caught."
I kissed her because I had to. I kissed her because I wanted to. I kissed her because kissing her was starting to make me feel like I had found something I wasn't really aware I had been looking for. Mostly I kissed her because every time she kissed me back I felt her settling a piece of herself even more deeply inside of me.
But I did know that no one had ever looked so at home in bed or under me ever before and that was a first that might just matter more than a first love ever could.
She might not be my first love but she would always be my last love and I understood what that meant now.
"It might have taken me a long-ass time to figure out the difference between first love and real love, but, Salem, there is nothing more real than what I feel for you."...more

I'm always hesitant with books that get such HIGH ratings and stars. But not for this read. I'll Meet You There deserves all the praise it is receiving.
I finished this book in one day, because I could barely bring myself to put it down. Even while I was at work. It drew me in and wouldn't let me go. I could clearly picture the life Skylar and Josh were living, and feel the love growing between them.
I'll Meet You There has some of the sweetest scenes between two characters that I've ever read about in a book and I just kept finding myself wanting more. The part where they get stuck dancing in the rain is my absolute favorite and I will forever have a picture of these two dancing together every time I hear "Hotel California" from now on.

It wasn't getting the best reviews and I could clearly see that it dealt with cheating, which can put a lot of people off.
However, a little bit after getting started with this read, I could clearly see that I was actually enjoying it.
This book hit closely to home for me, because besides dealing with cheating, it also deals with best friends falling in love. Which is something I've had personal experience with. Not to mention that the best friend in this book, shares the name with the best friend I fell for. ...more

On one hand I really enjoyed it. Allie seemed like an enjoyable enough heroine and with a few more books under her story (since I know this is a longer series) and the growth of her character some more she could be a contender for top ten fav females. That and I enjoyed Zayvion's character. That he, for the most part is still a big mystery to be figured out and so know little at all about him, his "real" job or past, keeps everything fresh. And they work together as a couple, even if they still have a lot of room for growth in my opinion.
What really bugged me about this book, was that Allie continued to be so straight laced about magic. She kept refusing to believe that there was still a lot that she didn't know and that maybe just maybe magic worked in other ways then just the ones that's she was always taught to believe in. Magic is a fickle thing, and if it comes from the Earth itself, who truly knows how many different forms it could come in. Especially since she kept getting slapped in the face with different things about magic that she had never heard of before. That should have been proof enough.
However, even with this slight annoyance I still enjoyed the book even to want to continue the series. I look forward to reading more about this world and seeing what Allie and Zayvion's have in store for them....more

I bought theThis is the second time I've read First Grave on the Right and let me just say it was just as good the second time around if not better!!
I bought the next few books in the series, but hadn't read this one (or the second one) sice 2012 and wanted to reacquaint myself with the world of Charley Davidson a.k.a. The Grim Reaper. It didn't take me long to remember why I loved this book so much the first time. Charley is one hell of a sarcastic, no blows bard, love able and caring woman. It's gotta take a lot out of a woman to have to go threw everyday life knowing you're the ghosts connection to the afterworld and she doesn't it with class all her own.
Every character introduced in this series I felt served a genuine purpose (the major characters) and I feel like there is still so much more to learn about all of them that I can't wait to figure out.
Charley and Reyes also have such steaming hot chemistry together! I can't wait to read about the progression of their story. Swopes however, I feel is better suited for Cookie! She can keep him in line while Charley is off doing the same to Reyes!
There is still so much more to learn about this world that Ms. Jones has created. But she has written it in such a way that I'm surprisingly not frustrated that I don't know everything yet. She gave me just enough to keep me satisfied and wanting to read more to find out the rest.
If you haven't read this series yet, I highly suggest that you do. You won't regret it. In fact you may be beating yourselves up that you didn't atart it sooner!...more
