I felt a little bogged down with all the Bible-talk....I believe actions speak louder than words. Also, I felt if a Christian author was going to write about second chances and forgiveness, it would be critical that she mention the Atonement. Still, I felt a little teary-eyed at the end (always a sign of a good story). (less)

Part of the problem is that I didn't agree with all of the theology, but more than that, I get bored with all of the mumbo jumbo philosophy talk...even the main character kept saying, "huh?" I did appreciate and value the main point of this story, forgiveness; however the way the Godhead was portrayed may be difficult to stomach and spoiled it. I also found it odd that everyone in this man's life found it so easy to just believe his miraculous story...idk.(less)
