الكتاب ممتع في قراءته للغاية، الكاتب يختار الأدب طريقا للنفاذ إلى ذهن الشعوب، و لا يعتمد على ذلك فقط بل يتجول بنفسه في الدول العربية و يقارن و يقرأ و يحلل، ما أعجبني أكثر أنه لا يدعى المعرفة الكاملة و لا يستطرد في التنظير لموضوع هو غير ملم به، و مؤمن بأن كل ثقافة لابد أن يتم الحكم عليها من خلالها هي و ليس من خلال رؤية الناقد لها، لذا فقد قدم رؤية محايدة غير مفرطة في تمجيد العرب أو تمجيد الغرب.(less)
