The Iron Knight is the final installment of the Iron Fey series. A series that I had a pleasure to read a couple of month before the release of Iron Knight. Truth be told, I was rather reluctant to start reading the Iron Fey Series as it’s written in the character’s point of view, a style of writing that I always have difficulties to grasps. I am not usually comfortable reading that sort point of view, but the Iron Fey series is so amazing and incredible that I can easily overlook the issue.
I’ve been anxiously anticipating the release of The Iron Knight for quite some time now, and so when I saw it’s available as an ARC in Netgalley, I couldn’t help but request it despite the fact that I still have a lot of pending reviews.
The Iron Knight does not disappoint. It’s all I can ask for in a fantasy. It’s romantic, unpredictable and not to mention, rather bittersweet. Unlike it’s predecessors, The Iron Knight have a wonderful ending, and provides a closure for the main character, Megan and Ash. I was really satisfied, though I wish that the author indulges us more with the ending.
Reading Iron Knight makes me think alot. It makes me wonder how far we should go to keep a promise that we made to our loved ones? And I wonder how far we should go in sacrificing ourselves for the love of our lives? This book makes me feel that sometimes, things can change so much that we fail to recognize the fact that even friends can be the most dangerous enemy.
Nevertheless, the Iron Knight is a wonderful read. Definitely a keeper for fantasy lovers. I feel rather melancholic by the time I finished reading. I feel as if I’m saying goodbye to my best friends. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars, and while this book can be read as a standalone, I suggest the readers to read the other books in this series to gain more understanding on the characters’ decisions and whatnot.
I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin publisher via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book, and I was not compensated in any ways for writing this review.
I you ask me to describe this book, I’d say it’s slow and steady, but concrete. I like how the author put this story together. It’s rather inspiring, though at some point of the story, I wish the main characters just will get down to business and get intimate with each other without further ado.
Very inspiring, dramatic and memorable. i enjoyed reading this book very much and I don’t think I would mind reading this book anothtime in the future.
I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin publisher via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.
This is a nice story, but I feel that there’s quite a lot of unnecessary things in this book. First of all, the story was not exactly realistic, but considering that this is a Harlequin book, I can forgive that, cuz Harlequin books are supposed to be unbelievable and seductive, but then again, this story fell too far away from reality. I was very disappointed with the female character. Despite of her strong will, she succumbed to culture way too easily in the beginning of the story. I couldn’t actually grasps that, considering that she’s only half Arabic and she grew up in the Western world before discovering that she’s a princess in a small Arabian country.
At some point, i got rather annoyed with the Arabic that has been used in the story. I find that rather unnecessary, but overall, this book is still a good read nevertheless.

This is quite an unforgettable story. I love the character's dynamics, love the pace, and definitely love the blazing passion portrayed in this story. Truth be told, I am not a Cowboy story fan. I don't usually read cowboy stories, even if it's a romance or an adult fiction, but I feel that I could definitely read this book over and over again without feeling bored.
Passionate, witty and very descriptive setting. Quite a keeper. I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book....more
Somehow, this book does not really work well with me even though I fell in love with the settings where the hero and heroine got trapped together in the snow and whatnot.
It's a wonderful book, don't get me wrong. This book provides everything a hopeless romantic could ask for. A wonderful form of escapism where one... or a few nights in the sheets turns pure hatred to lust, then love.
I just find it hard to believe... and the pace was rather slow for me. Wonderful book, but not for me.

Reading Lynne Graham books is like eating a box of sinful, dark chocolate pralines, and this one is no different. ‘The Marriage Betrayal’ by Lynne Graham is sinfully delicious to read and makes you feel that you could moan out of pleasure. I love the intensity of this book, and I regret the fact that the book actually had to end at some point.
This book is wonderfully written and I can’t wait for the sequel to this book in the future.

The Mogul’s Maybe Marriage is a rather slow story. It did not really work well with me because I feel that the male character is rather weak for a Harlequin hero. He was perfect, sure… rich, handsome and all, but I did not really like the way he handle things as well as the way he let his fear dictates his life and his future.
Nevertheless, this book is still an enjoyable read, and I find it tolerable enough to read til the end.

This book came highly recommended by another fellow reviewer, and I decided that i should give it a go, and I definitely did not regret that i picked this up even though the cover does not exactly seems appealing to me.
I love the emotional drama in this story, I love the angst, and most of all, I the passionate seduction between the hero and herione during their reconciliation period.
A wonderful but emotional read. Do spare a Kleenex or two if you’re an emotional reader. Not quite for crybabies. I was not required to write a positive review for it and I was not compensated in any ways for reviewing this book....more
This world is corrupted and tainted with so many distrust that sometimes, people stopped believing in true love. Reading the journey of Prince William and his wife, Kate (Duchess Kate) made me feel that despite the corrupted world, true love still exists. Reading this book makes my heart melt and knees buckle… in a good way that is.
‘Prince William and Kate’ is a wonderful biography about the royal couple, and I daresay it will make a wonderful memorabilia if you’re a fan of the royal couple. It’s wonderfully illustrated and the biography followed the journey of Prince William and Kate’s courtship to marriage in a way that will make the readers swoon.
This book is a keeper and makes a wonderful gift or a permanent library collection.

The Final Hour by Andrew Klavan is a very fast-paced adventure cum thriller that will surely make your adrenaline pump faster than it usually does.
This book is probably aimed to younger adults… boys, particularly and I found that it is enjoyable despite of the confusing plot. At some point I feel as if I was Alice, wandering around in Wonderland without a clear purpose, but it is a good read nevertheless.
I suppose if you’re a fan of adventure fiction, or a thriller, you would want to give this one a go. Highly recommended to boys age 12 years up.

I’ve always love reading Christian fiction. Especially if the theme is loosely tied around romance. They’re much more satisfying than normal romance fiction. ‘Vision of Lucy’ is another one of my favourite Christian fiction. Somehow, I could almost see myself in the protagonist of this story, Lucy. She’s such a determined young thing, and would do anything to achieve her goals, and never did succumbs to people’s expectations of her as well as peer pressure. She did what she thinks is right, even though it was wrong in the eyes of the society. I liked how adventurous Lucy was portrayed. She’s such a memorable character and I definitely would read this book again some time in the future.
I highly recommends this book to those who enjoy a light hearted read with a hint of humour, romance and adventure. I rate this book 3 stars.

My husband was positively flabbergasted when he saw this inside one of my ‘pornography’ reading list. Gosh, what wouldn’t I give to see him blush and flustered like that again? I’d give anything just to see that again. I love it when he’s surprised like that and looked at me as if he’s discovered something new and absolutely wicked about me.
Anyway… enough with my amusement… LOL. I can assure you it won’t be my last. Now, without further ado, allow me to proceed with the review of this book.
Again…this book is not pornography book where Playboy bunnies prance around in their skimpy outfit. No. This is not that sort of book. This, ladies and gentleman, is a self-help book that teaches you the art of pleasuring yourself, and your other half. It teaches you to slow down a little bit where bedroom matters are concern and teaches you how to prolong pleasure and connect yourself not only physically, but emotionally with your partner.
This book is a very good self-help book. Every couple who wishes for a much more satisfying sex life should read this book. I assure you you’d learn a few things to put your sheets on fire a little bit.
I rate this book 5 stars. Intensely pleasurable and educational read. :D I received an ARC of this book from Grand Central Publishing via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book and I was not compensated in any ways for this. ...more
Now, my husband caught me reading this book the other day and he was rather flustered. *GRINZ* At first glance, it seems that I’ve been reading a book that teaches me the art of cheating and infidelity, but truthfully, it is not. This book does not teach me how to cheat on my husband. Quite contrary, I must say.
This is a motivational book that teaches you how to reinvent passion between you and your spouse. Admit it, most of us feel as if things has indeed become mundane after being in a marriage for quite some time, and more often than not, we took our other half for granted.
This is a very good motivational/self-help book. Though the content is not anything new, and I’m mostly familiar with most of the case study, I find that I could learn a few tricks to make my relationship with my husband much more exciting than it is now.
My only complain about this book is that it is rather repetitive. I get alot of points that it’s trying to convey, considering that I’ve been married for almost a decade… I wish the author does not try to emphasize too much on how things gets mundane and we need to fix that. I know that.
Overall, a very educational read, and I highly recommend this to all married couple who feels that they need to do something to renew the passion and love in their marriage.
Despite of it’s flaw and repetitiveness where case studies are concerned, I rate this book 5 stars, simply because it helps me understand more about my relationship with my husband, and it helps me appreciate him more and see him as my lover instead of just the father to my child.

You’d definitely enjoy this book if you’re into fantasy and gothic-like setting. One book you would not want to miss if you enjoy falling down the rabbit hole and go to Wonderland like Alice or walk through the wardrobe into another world like the Pevensies siblings in the Chronicles of Narnia.
In Midwinter Fantasy, wonderful couples and heroes emerge to tell tales that you will never forget.
This book, is definitely not an ordinary book to me, but a key to another world where fantasy and romance comes alive. Kudos to the authors for writing up such wonderful and memorable stories.

Soul Survivor by Misty Evans is a wonderfully written adult fantasy with paranormal element in it. I find myself enjoying it immensely though the beginning really did get on my nerves.
The pace was rather fast and gets my head spinning, but it is a good thing. I was rather intrigue with the story and I couldn’t put down the book.
Very good read, and I couldn’t get enough of the thrills, the sexiness and the adrenaline from this book.

Ohhhhh! Wow! This is a very, very hot and sexy read. Sure, there’s a lot of bumps along the way in ‘Learning Curves’, but boy, this book is intriguing and absolutely fascinating as it moves along. This is my kind of book. Lesson learned, indefinitely.
Storyline was fast, original, and sexy to boot apart from being very emotional and educational. I was looking for something different than those betrayal and horrifying backstabber friends, and so I must say that this one’s a very refreshing piece for me.

‘The First Victim’ is a horrifying but satisfying read. It starts off with a horrendous, unbelievable event change changes people’s lives forever. Rather dramatic, but frankly speaking, it is believable, cuz things… unwanted, horrible things happens when you least expected it. This book makes me think that horrible things really can happen, just that you don’t know when. And when those horrible, terrifying thing actually did happen and affect your life tremendously, you’d find yourself wondering how the hell it can actually happen to you or the people around you.
This book may be a fiction, but it serves as an eye opener to me. Thumbs up for the author for her splendid writing skill that could easily provoke so many emotions all at once as I read it.

‘Yours To Keep’ is a beautifully written story and one could easily relate it to real life.Well, at least, I could. It reminds me that sometimes, when you want something and yet the thing does not exactly belong to you, no matter what you do to pursue it, it will not be yours. Quite pointless to pursue something that you know that it will not be yours, is it not meant to be, isn’t it? if it’s yours, then it is yours, no matter what. If it is not, then it is not. But then again, that doesn’t mean you can keep what actually belongs to other people. You cannot keep what is not yours, for retribution will come without failed.
I learn alot from this contemporary novel. It shows you the meaning of belonging among many other themes in the story. It teaches you to do the best, and let Fate do the rest.
It’s a very sweet story despite of the slow, leisurely pace. I like this story very much, and I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Carina Press via Netgalley. This book teaches me one thing: Sometimes, friends can be your enemy, and your enemies can actually be your friends. Confusing? Well, I suppose it is. Things can get really confusing, but don’t worry, things usually gets better as truth is slowly revealed.
As I read this book though, I wondered if one could be evil enough to make their enemy’s enemy their friend? Or should one keep your enemy at arm’s length instead of avoiding them? Hmm, curious thought, and it gets curiouser and curiouser to me as I read along.
Don’t get me wrong. This is a wonderfully written story. There’s structure, there’s dynamics, and one got to love a heroin that can hold her own despite of her flaws.
Love this book to bits, and it’s definitely a keeper. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I thought the cover could be improvised a little bit to make the book looks more attractive to readers.

‘Cat’s Tale: A Fairy Tale Retold’ by Bettie Sharpe is a really good story. This is the kind of fairy tale where the main character is not exactly a perfect, kind, faultless being but a human who is learning to be a better person along the way.
This book teaches me alot on retribution and second chances. The plot of the story is highly original and I feel as if I couldn’t get enough of the story.

I'm pleased to say that I am completely satisfied with the content of this book, SatisFaction: Erotic Fantasies for the Advanced & Adventurous Couple by Karrine Steffans. Frankly speaking, I learned more about improving my sex life with this book than any other self help books.
It is interesting to note that the book encourage couples trying out new things with each other and give in to the inner desire on wanting a much more fantasy-like sex life.
The book teaches me about sexuality and how to explore and act it out without feeling ashamed of my own wanton desire.
I liked this book very much and I definitely would recommend this book for all married couples out there. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Lessons in Indiscretion by Karen Erickson is a highly entertaining and sensual story. Despite the fact that it is a historical romance, it is not boring. No, it is far from boring. In fact it was told in such a bold way that I have no doubt that the people who lives in the regency era would have toss and turn in their graves if they knew that their era has been fictionalized in such a way.
Lesson in Indiscretion is highly arousing and I highly recommend it to those who have not much time to read. The book is not particularly lengthy and rather short for a historical romance. Perfect for a lazy afternoon read.

How well do we know the Biblical King, Solomon who was featured in and the Book of Chronicles and the Book of Kings?
When I was a little girl, I see King Solomon as a wise man who knew everything in life because God bestowed him such wisdom. When I grew up a little bit and was a dreamy, hopelessly romantic teenager, I see him as a seductive man who easily seduced the Queen of Sheba with his endless wits. And when I’m an adult, I see him as a man whose downfall was caused by lust and disobedience toward God’s will.
How do you see King Solomon from the Old Testament, I wonder? This book, King Solomon: The Temptations of Money, Sex, and Power written by Philip Graham Ryken is an in depth study of the Biblical king’s life, from cradle to his grave.
It was very well written and researched, and I definitely enjoyed being enlightened by this book. Inspiring read.
A forewarning to those who wants to read this book: You’ll spend a lot of time thinking, so be prepared to think alot if you’re to pick up this book.

I was expecting an ordinary, typical Texan style romance in ‘Chantilly’s Cowboy’ by Debra Kayn, but I was highly amused when the story surpassed my expectations. I was not only entertained by the languorous, budding romance between the main characters, but I learned quite a little bit about sewing in this story.
Chantilly (the main character) is named after a type of lace. Gosh, and I thought that’s just a fancy name.
Anyway, this book is a wonderful, comfortable read. It’s something that i would want to get my hands off whenever I need some comforting romance. It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings. My only complain is that the book is too short. I practically devoured this book within an hour. It was not enough for me.

'Goddess With A Blade' is a book with a soul. It's very alive, and seems to have a mind of it's own that I could not predict where it's actually heading to. It was beautifully written and I was locked down with suspense and anticipation of what's going to happen next.

It starts off very emotional, making me sympathize with the main character for the injustice that he’s suffering, but as the story moves along, it gets much more interesting and instead of pity, I enjoyed how the characters and the environment developed.
If you’re not into paranormal stories, then you might find this story a tad strange and hard to imagine.
I enjoyed it despite of the queer environment in the story. It has it’s own allure, and I’ve always fancies heroes who starts off weak and emerge strong and highly dominant in the end.

This book ought to be praised for the creativity and imagination, and I devoured this book within an hour. Highly engaging, seductive and delicious fiction to read.

I am not quite sure if it works that way with everyone else who has been fortunate enough to read this book, but it is a very, very wonderful read for those who loved history.
'Theodora: Actress, Empress, Whore' is very enlightening, and it magnifies Theodora, once a great empress of the Roman Empire like it has never been done before.
This is a definitely 5 star read, and the book will make a wonderful keepsake for those who loved a wonderful blend of history, memoirs and fiction.
A word of warning: Never ever read this book while drinking or snacking. You’d choke on your drinks or food. Why? The book is too funny that I’m sure you’d find it hard to resist the urge to laugh.
The mythologist will be going around tsk-ing at the twist, though. ‘Say Cheese, Medusa’ is not exactly the story where Perseus chopped off Medusa’s head and emerge a hero. It’s quite the other way around. A very refreshing and humourous touch to the age old serious story of heroism.
I definitely can get used to reading the books in Myth o Maniac series. It tickles my funny bones and I enjoyed it very much.
