I do so enjoy Sharon's books. Back with all of our favorite characters (yay!) and a couple of new, but brief, ones. Again, I had a hard time putting this down. I really only did to leave the house or charge my nook.
In Beautiful Tears we are catching up with Beth and her boys five years down the road. Court is in progress again and Beth has to keep an eye on things in her area while the boys are away. The major pain in her backside for the week would be Michael, a representative for the house of Frimbia. He proves to be a pain in Beth's ass and will only stop when he finally gets a date with her. Did we forget the boys won't share her with anyone else? Nope. Poor Michael =)
In Malachi's region there seems to be a sudden disappearance of fairies. Which may have something to do with a certain spa, also in his region. He asks Beth to go into the establishment and scope things out, It's clientele are only humans and Beth can pass as one. She checks in for a two week stay and gets more then she, or the boys bargained for.
Beth names her heir, Sasha wants her to sign his mate contract, Katie wants to get on Sasha and Sig shares some interesting data with Beth. The question remains, will everybody get what they want? All will be revealed...and then some.
Definitely a must read if you've already read A Lady of the Realm and if you haven't, why in the hell not? I'm loving this series!(less)

All of this wrapped up in one delicious bundle! From the moment I started reading this I couldn't put it down.
Our heroine Bethany Boudreaux, is on of the few remaining full blooded witches left in the world. Last in New Orleans. Her mother renounced her heritage as a witch when Bethany was born and after years of scraping just to get by, Beth wants what should be hers. How do you get it? All she has to do is bargain with the dark elf in control of her estate.
Lord Aleksander is that dark elf. Along with Malachi, Aleksander appears at the bar she works at one night and she takes the opportunity to enlist his help to gain her legacy. They enter into an agreement of sorts and the fun begins! This is a must read for anyone into PNR. Lord Alek and Malachi are HOT! The plot never gets boring and will leave you panting for the next book. Hell, I'm gonna start it right now....(less)

She moves in with a friend in Charleston that she is going to be co-teaching a course with. Unbeknownst to her, her aunt is bequeathing the Matchmaker job to her. She sends her body guard Dare, who was an Elite Guard of the elves, to deliver a letter to her and starts the event of Amy's induction to Matchmaker. While out walking her greyhound she steps into a floral shop and meets the owner Lily, daughter from a union between human and wood elf. With Dare following to deliver the letter, Amy, sets in motion a destined romance between Dare and Lily. With some interference from a werewolf and Lily's brother Cade. Also discovering how Amy takes to being the new Matchmaker. The book is well written and easy to read. If flows right along, never getting choppy. Her Characters are fully developed and don't leave you wondering why they are behaving the way they do. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more written by Regan Black.(less)
