Poison Princess is a Supernatural Romance adventure that grows to show this post apocalyptic world while exploring the tarot cards mythology. The world building was fantastic, and the plot was very impressive as well.
There is an incredible development already in this first book, and loved the funny lines here and there. They made all the difference since it’s one of the author’s most specific characteristics. The tone was very dark, which fit this story well and make us understand where these characters were coming from, see through their eyes. I can’t wait for the next installment!

The love scenes were very entertaining and funny, they were surprisingly good! The geeks won me over, they stole Deena's spotlight .Eve Langlais penned a highly enjoyable and different story, with two geeks that will win your heart and a tough heroine ready to succumb to love!

On the other hand, it had a couple too many sex scenes that didn't exactly fit the story due to the fact that I felt they were out of context. I have absolutely no other complaints about this title, it was believable, organic, with a great pacing and a lovely ending. I had an amazing experience since it overcame my expectations- a highly enjoyable and comic read (oh, and sexy too)!...more

I had an amazing time reading this book. Rebecca Royce’s writing is so fluid and natural that I every time I read her books, I can’t take my eyes off of the pages. They’re incredibly captivating and grab my attention to every step like no other.
We followed the new character’s developments as well as the main arc, with an immense turn of events. I believe this was The Outsiders’ saddest novel till now, but I thoroughly enjoyed the concept for this title.
Love Beyond Loyalty isn't as hot and sexually charged as the previous books, but it's a page turner that will grab your attention like no other! ThisLove Beyond Loyalty isn't as hot and sexually charged as the previous books, but it's a page turner that will grab your attention like no other! This book has a high similarity with the first book, Love Beyond Time, which is still my favorite so far. Love Beyond Sanity, the second title didn't please me as much so I was unsure about what to hope for next.
(...) I believe that due to the tools and knowledge acquired thanks to this title, the story will present a turning point during the next. I'm so happy with how The Outsiders series is developing and growing - I can't wait to read Love Beyond Sight!

Emily and Francis mHow Miss Rutherford Got Her Groove Back is the first published title by Sophie Barnes and I absolutely adored it! So so so gooood! Emily and Francis make such a sweet couple! The interactions between them were intense and the dialogue was clever. I especially liked the scene where Francis ask her for a dance ans she denies it in the beginning of the book! The secondary cast of characters were amazing, I wish they could have their own novellas! However, I though some of them were going to have a bigger and active part in the story and be more involved in it overall. Can I just say that I give extra credit to the author awhen the couple do NOT get married in the end of the book? I rather see them getting married in the middle of it or starting it as a couple. I don’t see a marriage as a solution, and that’s one of these books that continue to develop the story after it happens. The main couple learns to love again and see each other under a new light, discovering new truths about them even though there were friends once. Towards the end the pacing slowed down and I expected a somewhat different ending. I liked the action but I believe it had potential to be more, while I thought it an inteligent approach. I’ll certainly read Sophie Barnes’ next book without a doubt, and I recommend this title to all Julia Quinn’s fans out there like me!...more

Waltz of seduction is the sweetest erotic romance I’ve ever read! The love between the couple is so pure, genuine and full or respect, that you completely surrender to the story being told. Love, love, love!
It’s one of those books you think about and make you smile. It has became dear to me. And all bow to Natasha Blackthorne!
(I have given this book The Golden Award – This is a very rare award! This one is given only to the best of the best. The quality and emotion are perfectly balanced. It’s a work of art.

I love a good sci-fi with hot scenes and this is a must read! The amount of hotness and emotion can be compared to Em Petrova’s books, one of my favorite authors! . I loved how this tale was told and it didn’t have hardcore BSDM that made me stop reading, it had a sweet and very touching side to it. I’m not a fan of BDSM and m/m, but absolutely loved everything about it.
One thing could be better, how it ended. I hoped we could see more about the future, but we’ll have more books about them so I’ll simply have to wait. The world building was terrific and I’ll definitely read other works by this writer and I can’t wait for Bolin and Ikel’s story next! An impressing ans promising sci-fi erotic romance series you can’t possibly miss! Buy it now!...more

Once a Rogue, tells the story of Lucasta, a young lady that refuses to enter her arranged marriage being a virgin. But when she decides to spend the night with an escort she didn't imagine he would deny to follow her orders in the bedroom. John, a former rogue, becomes fascinated with the woman in front of him. She's bossy, spoiled and apparently always gets her way - not this time.
As their story progressed their struggle for power receives more and more attention. I loved the tension between them and all the twists Fresina had for this story. The plot was really tight and the characters amazing. I loved the secondary cast of characters too. I would have liked the end better if the last chapter wasn't there, and instead using this material for The Savage and the Stiff Upper Lip (the next book). Jayne has improved immensely since her first published novella, Engraved, that I had the pleasure to review previously and give it 4 stars!
I'll definitely read all the books of this series and the other incredible stories Jayne Fresina will come up with next! She has captivated me and now she has a new fan!

Beth and Grey are the perfect couple, both with a stubborn attitude and fighting for control. They have their disagreements, like every couple, except we don’t know if they are a couple, and not even the characters do. This discussion is brought up since their first encounter and we see fireworks every time they decide not to agree. The sexual tension is in the air from start to finish.
I was unsure about how the plot would unravel after the first few pages. I have to admit I was worried at first, but then I couldn’t put it down and the story kept me interested till the last page. Still, something wasn’t quite right. Details on Beth’s jobs and the continuous mention about her brother could be better edited, or even cut out, and the void filled with fresh information, it wouldn’t have overwhelm the reader. The story lacked some background regarding the heroine’s previous lovers and more about the connection between Grey and the people he was dealing with. All in all, I enjoyed the character development immensely.
I recommend Grey’s if you’re looking for a hot historical book to read in a short time – but be aware that you’ll have time to read the full title, cause you won’t be able to stop! What I can certainly say is: Natasha Blackthorne is definitely an author to watch....more

I read about romance and I love sci-fi, I'm a big fan of Star Trek, Battlestar Gallactica and other series. Nova Sparks has a very interesting approach to romance when writing sci-fi.
This book is told from the perspective of Sam and his teenager daughter Emma. Sounds weird, doesn't it? Well, it's not! They complete each other's POVs and nowhere in the book you'll get lost or feel like skipping pages. I have to tell you I read this book in about 4 hours, I could stop reading it! The DOME, I dare to say, is one of the best sci-fi books around this year.
Now of course I have to critique the romance side of this novel. This book has a deep romance line that is very important to the development of the characters and the plot, therefore it has to describe love. I wouldn't take the love scenes out of this book (not because I love romances) because it connects the story in so many levels! I won't write any spoilers, but I believe we'll be watching the results of those actions SOON. I have to agree though that they could've been better worked on. Think about it!
There's nothing that caught my attention to the negative side, apart from a few errors that can be fixed with a better editing. The DOME is a rich and compelling story with very strong elements from movies, and an amazing plot. I could picture it all in my head like a tv series or a movie while reading it. Amazing, I was hung up! It's sci-fi, romance and fantasy all in one - I can barely wait to read the next two books! My dear reader, you can't miss this one!

He finds himself surrounded by a nineteenth century alternate reality with a... Princess. Princess Lenchen is tired of her boring life and when this strange boy appears out of nowhere, she has the chance of a lifetime to taste freedom. But then he wants to go back to Tacoma and she has to help him... not wanting him to go. I was so captivated by this beautiful couple. Lenchen is a touching character, a sweet and full of hope eighteen years old, while Ollie is a chemistry undergraduate, who loves skateboarding and physics. They're on a mission to get him back home and while at it, feelings start to show.
The mechanics of time travel are very well explained, and it didn't leave us with questions on how it works, everything is well tighten and written. It's a very interesting plot and the development is great, I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
Heather Hiestand wrote a lovely, delicious story. I was immersed into this world, a fairy tale place no one would want to leave. I fell in love with this book. Beautiful, gracious, a delight to read.

I always find myself laughing when I read a Julia Quinn novel, and I can’t seem to control it! Although the author could’ve done a better job, I had a great time reading Just Like Heaven! We are delighted to meet again some of our favorite characters from the Bridgerton series. I won’t spoil it for you, but Lady Danbury is always such a joy to see! She has one of her best scenes ever in this book, quite hilarious! The main couple was excellent together, I loved how relaxed they felt around each other and they had several natural and flowing dialogues. And of course I was enchanted by our not so typical hero, a shy and loyal aristocrat Marcus was ill for the most part of the book, it could’ve been shorter – I felt like there wasn’t much more the author could’ve explored from that scene. What I really missed was more romance scenes, when comparing it to the “previous” Bridgerton books. In my opinion, the novel lacked more romance and sexual tension between Honoria and Marcus. Maybe that’s why I thought their sex scene odd, a forced scene had to be there, didn’t feel very natural to the story. Despite it’s rushed ending and some lacking points here and there, I was charmed -again- by the humorous and light romance Julia Quinn has presented. A fast paced page turner you’ll fell in love with. I won’t miss A Night Like This for anything in the world!...more
