But because of the long thick lengths, somehow, i suffered the boredom of reading through all these extended parts. But the actions, thrill and really good suspence made me toralte these, plus Lars Kepler also had perfect characters like Joona Linna with blond hair, The disgraced hypnotist Erik maria Bark and his family and suprisingly Josef Ek.
This novel does end on a good note, as celebrations start post christmas Day, but overall, great job done to catch my attention and looking forward to read another book with Joona Linna in it as well.... ...more

This is a story, which is set in Winterford , which follows the lives of Ferelith, a resident and mysterious person, who gets surprised by the unknown arrival of a girl called Rebecca.
This book is based on two people, one being the mad rector of Winterford and a regular resident, Ferelith. Both these people lived in the same house and had the same question. But they lived two centuries apart and the discovery of this dangerous secret, leads into a trap, they were uncertain about and the sudden death of one girl, will change everyone's life in Winterford tonight. The question they ask everyday: is there life after death? Does Heaven or Hell even exist? If there is a God, there is also the Devil.
These were parts which i did like a lot, like the arrival of Rebecca in Winterford as the new girl who becomes friends with Ferelith ,also the ideas of the Mad rector and Ferelith expressed in diary entries every day. The expressive words that the author used for their diary entries were mostly adjectives and described the feelings of the character, as they were writing it in from their own view.
I would recommend this book to the Marcus Sedgewick fans and the reads of Gothic horror, because this book is very interesting and displayed its views on the old issue of the existence of God....more

This book is one, I haven't come across in my whole lifetime of reading books. This is a bit of the book: This book is based on the idea of Veritas (The truth in Italian) It is about mysterious events happening at Baker's High, then a Christian family group called the Veritas Project of the Springfield Family , are secretly a family who works on supernatural cases and tries to find the real Veritas (Truth) behind these occurrences. The myth of a person called Abel Frye who committed suicide in the basement of the school. Rumours of Abel's ghost fills in the ears of the student and the hallucinations seen by some students or supposedly picked on to see. The Springfield Family go undercover as students and teachers, discover hangmen drawn on the specific student lockers who had the hallucinations. This turns from a tale of Spirits, ghost, and supernatural beings to peer pressure, bullying and other school issues.
Especially of the horror genre, i found this book an eerie gold charm, specially recommended to those who like a full thrilling read to satisfy and feel scared and spooked even after reading this book.

It is a great book on the life of vampires, and Amelia is the best writer of the Genre that i have ever read.
This book features four different stories, but some of these characters are also featured within these other stories. The first of this collection is called: In the Forest of the Night This story is about Risika, a three-hundred year old vampire, fighting a conflict for the same time as her age. Her father and brother were killed and she is stronger than ever, but her past is come back to torment her.. The next book in line is called : Demon in my View which is a classic sequel to, In the Forest of the Night.
The only thing i didn't like about this book, was that sometimes the story turns very complicated and the characters change very quickly and they turned into completely different characters.
I would like to recommend this book to all ages, who love reading paranormal romance, because of the writers style and individuality in her writing sense. Overall, this book knows how to please lovers of Paranormal Romance, and their addiction to Vampires.
