One thing I did like was that in this one we do see a bit of the Reyes' past and a bit of the future with her. Were the other one is more of Charley tormenting Reyes he just ponders life with and without her....more

Charley still has her witty humor and Reyes is still, well, the sexy son of Satan but nothing really happens in it to make this a must read. I don't see how this would play into the next book when Charley is just tormenting Reyes and him visa versa about a question he asked her and she withholds the information from him....more
This book has a great world, or worlds. I loved how there were different realms/worlds that one could go into much like the world that CS Lewis had inThis book has a great world, or worlds. I loved how there were different realms/worlds that one could go into much like the world that CS Lewis had in the Magician's Nephew! As like the "real World" time is normal but once in another world/realm time maybe different. I liked how she played with that to help with some character and story progression later on in the book. I also enjoyed a fresh way to look on how Pookas are made and her version of elves and elementals.
At times I found some -holes in the story. Although, the one to make me stop and feel a little disappointed was when in the elven realm and your "true self" is shown there was at one point a description of a person and then later on in that same realm when they were being described it was written as he was the same as the other two men next to him when he was CLEARLY different in the first part. "All three had blacker then black hair, high cheekbones and square jaws." Just saying, one had a animal head when they were in this world the first time. And unless I missed something that made this make sense, I was sad that a world that was created so nicely was wounded so badly! To me this hurt more then the grammatical or spelling errors that were found in this book.
Over all I think that this is a good book and when I found time to read more times then not I found it hard to put down this book for I absolutely loved the world that Lisa Wiliamson made for her characters if not for the grammatical/spelling errors or story holes I more then likely would have never put it down. (For that I blame bata readers or the lack of; I understand that writers will go over their work a million times and after reading/seeing it so much they become numb to what might be wrong with the story or the writings and will have bata readers to catch that stuff.)
I do hope that she keeps this world and in the future writes more on the other realms in this world she made for she does have a good story and with minor adjustments could be the next CS Lewis.

Let me tell you that I am super glad I have not been reading this since 1996 when the FIRST book, A Game of Thrones came out and have to wait for eachLet me tell you that I am super glad I have not been reading this since 1996 when the FIRST book, A Game of Thrones came out and have to wait for each book! I have only picked up this book about a year or 2 ago.
With that being said, When I picked of the first one I actually picked it countless times attempting to read it (or since I work at a audio book store, listen to)but was not in the mood for a long book and series with the idea that it might never get finished by how G.R.R. Martin writes or when I was in the mood I might not like it. So I never dreamed I would get to this book and after book four, A Feast for CrowsI wasn't sure if I could stomach the fifth book. But here I am done and is willing to kill when -and if ever, the next one comes out!
Since the fourth one had most of the minor characters in it this took all the main plus some from book 4, (the main ones) since in that one their fate was left to be decided. NOW this one leaves off much the same for the other ones that are only in this book but in a much more dire need to make one KILL to read the next book that is yet to be seen by anyone other then Martin and his people!
One of the best part of this book I think was the dragons! Every time I read about Dani and her dragons I wanted to raise a foam-finger! I LOVE Dani and not seeing her in book 4 was very sad. In here she is faced with many choices and how best to be queen and Mother-of-Dragons!
Now, Jon Snow was becoming quite boring for me in book 3 since everyone else had things happening around them and he was in the snow playing house! Here I feel like he was finally becoming interesting again!
And the imp? Well, I am a little sadden for is lot in life but happy that he is making his way over and hope that he will run into Dani... I want to know if she will kill him!
There are others in here like Arya Stark and Cersei Lannister and I am glad to see things happen to both in here and feel satisfied on it!...more
