Black Lilith is Ms Jacobs' debut novel and I am surprised by that. When I finished Black Lilith I could have sworn this was an experienced multi-published author and was shocked to see that this was her first book. The characters are perfect and I quickly fell in love with them all. The plot is exciting and interesting without being too angst filled or dramatic. There was the perfect amount of feeling and story to keep you hooked and looking for more.
Logan is *sigh*...how can I explain him. Lead singer with a voice that makes you swoon, tattoos, sexy hair, and just down right gorgeous all around. Due to past experience he has made a rule "No dating the band's PA" but that rule comes back and bites him in the ass when Mikayla is hired by Slate, the band's drummer. Logan cannot get over how attracted he is to her but he fights it even though he growls at others who give her attention and hasn't taken a groupie home sense he's met her.
Mikayla is looking for a temporary job that is going to help her pay for her student loans. She never expected to go from coffee runs to touring with the world famous band, Black Lilith. Even more, she never expected to have such a profound reaction to the band's lead singer. He's hot, sexy, and everything she lusts for but he's made his rule and won't break it. She quickly falls in love with all the band members but her feeling towards Logan are way past brotherly love and she's not sure what to do about that.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts. The way they dance around each other is borderline exhausting. You literally want to just scream at them but the wait makes it all worth it. A problem with a hotel puts them in a precarious situation and they simply cannot fight it any more. One thing leads to another and pretty soon, she turns into Logan's dirty little secret. Secrets lead to lies which lead to problems that they never saw coming.
I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes Rockstars who are more brothers than bandmates and who would lay down their lives for one another. Once they accept you into their tight nit group, you'll never want to leave.
One of the best things about this book was it gave a voice to each and every one of the characters. Each band member's personality was clearly established with just enough hidden to make you ache for their story. I loved how Mikayla developed an individual relationship with each band member and she took on the roll of mama bear for them all.
This book was truly a wonderful experience. Ms Jacobs has hooked herself a fan for life. ...more

This has got to be my favorite of the series by far. Tommy is swoon worthy and IMHO the perfect hero. He's tortured and sad yet funny and sweet. He's certainly a gentleman and he's loyal to the people he cares about. But, get him behind clothes doors and he turns into an animal. Dominant, demanding, and so so sexy.
This story is truly heart breaking. I fell for Tommy in Black Lilith, book #1, and was so hoping that his book would be next so we can put him out of his misery. He is so sad. Well, I got what I was hoping for and All or Nothing certainly takes you on a roller coaster.
Sersha is incredible. She's bubbly, sweet, and loving yet she has a wicked sense of humor and a sarcastic side that had me cracking up. I love how she is a take me as I am kind of woman with her crazy dancing and wild hair. She's the perfect balance for Tommy.
The romance between Tommy and Sercha builds slowly and it's not an 'in your face' build, it's gentle and sweet. Sexy looks, small comments, and friends that help things along. Once they give in to their feelings for each other, they burn up the pages. The chemistry and love flows off the pages.
If you think you want to read this book, which I highly recommend, start with Black Lilith. The books are connected enough that you will really get the full effect starting from the beginning. Again, I highly recommend this series. It's Ms Jacobs' debut series and she nails it. ...more

I really shouldn't be. Cynthia Eden always writes a great story. This was no different. The characters, plot, suspense, action, sexy time, and writing were all phenomenal. Rayce is a seriously bad ass werewolf and Lila is a sweet and innocent Angel. You certainly wouldn't think that these two would go together but believe it or not they go together perfectly. The plot was both sweet and intense and the chemistry between Lila and Rayce was off the charts. I devoured this book in one sitting. Can't wait for more!! ...more

Butterfly Style is book #8.5 in the Dartmouth Cobra's series. It's a prequel of sorts as it's the story of how Chicklet and Laura met and the beginning of their relationship. If you have read this series you'll know that Chicklet and Laura have been together since the very beginning. I don't know about you but I've always wondered how they met and how they came to be. Plus, I wasn't a huge fan of Laura so I was curious about why she is the way she is. Now I've gotten to find out and Laura makes much more sense now and I have actually grown to like her. It was an epic love story that I fell in love with from the first page. This book covers the hardships a person in the LGBT community goes through and the struggle they have to go through just to be themselves and be with the person they love. Bianca did a very good job sticking to both Chicklet and Laura's characters that we've already grown to love and it was great to get a glimpse of the other players/characters before their stories were written.
This is definitely a recommended read the the perfect edition to the Cobra's series. ...more
