Shion kemudian dibuang ke Lost Town, the less ideal part of No.6.
Dan gw gak punya image conflict ama visualisasi No.6, lost town, west blok, bahkan kamarnya Nezumi :)
overall, No.6 wajib dikoleksi para fujo, secara komik "begini" langka terbit legal ^..^

I should've known better of you, that you're the invisible hands in this story. You're orchestrated the whole things here. Thorn, Brand, Gorm, Mother Scaer, even your own king, King Uthil, were just another your puppets.
Another thing that I highly praised here is it has so much girls power. Let's see, it has Thorn; the girl warrior who save the Empress of the South; who fights and killed six men alone. Rin; the best swordmaker in Shattered Sea. Vialine; the most powerful woman in the South Not to mention Queen Laithlin, Sumael, Safrit, Skifr and those powerful ministers No groveling girls and no spoiled princess/queen.
Half the World was a bit different from Stattered Sea. While Yarvi still in the story, this book told in two new characters, Thorn & Brand, which completely different. While Thorn's was vigorous and full of excitement, Brand's was a bit gloomy and bland. But this two different voices completed each other well.
As much as I enjoyed the different voices, I cant wait to hear Yarvi's, get inside his cunning brain...

Maybe because it came in bad timing. This book came as third YA LGBT after my two previous wonderful Johanna Parkhurst's. I'm not such a angsty junkie but when all happy and smiley and cutey sometimes it's getting bored. The little drama between Danny and Rusty at nearly the end was unconvincing and unnecessary. And I'm having hard time to connect with all the characters, let alone to root for them. Sorry... ...more
Luvvvv...luvvvvv this book. Honestly for a book YA story with LGBT characters, this book not quite exploring that LGBT thing, how that LGBT charas dealLuvvvv...luvvvvv this book. Honestly for a book YA story with LGBT characters, this book not quite exploring that LGBT thing, how that LGBT charas deals with his new found sexuality and so and so, but the story indeed more about family relationship. And this story about family really moved me, make me teary just by remembering it.
The story was about Dustin Porter or Dusty, 14 nearly 15 yo. He's been taking care his younger brother & sister since he was like...ten. His father left them, his mother been skipping out on them based on her mood. And Dusty did his job well, until his 6 yo sister taken to the hospital and the social services found about their family situation. Soon Dusty and his brother & sister fly to Vermont, to live with his uncle & aunt they never knew before.
And things weren't easy for Dusty...
I LOVE DUSTY. That for sure. When other 14 yo kids were just playing around, he's to make sure that his brother & sister well fed, read them a story before bed, rent paid, homework done, house clean, and make sure that the school never found about their parents. I understand his discomfort with the new environment in Vermont. His uncle & aunt were nice & good people, but it's not easy for 14-yo kid who's always been alone to embrace every new thing in his life.
Not to mention when he's sure with his sexuality. Just another pile in his already high pile... XD
I love Dusty relationship with his brother&sister, his friendship with Race, with Casey...
AND I LOVE DUSTY WITH EMMITT. Yes it's not enough of them together, but even with that lack amount of romance, Dusty - Emmitt were cute and sweet together. ♥
