It was a masterpiece told from the heart and soul. Giving thanks to all the dysfunctional mother/daughter relationships out there. Also exploring the mind of a schizophrenic and enduring the pain and happiness the relationship can cause. It was a really good read and Mira Bartok did an absolute superb job.

I could relate to Sandra and I know many other black girls could to. Goines did such a notable job portraying life on the streets for young black girls. and to think she had not yet graduated high school. Absolutely captivating job well done.. Just fantastic. I could not put it down. He put the right amount of characters and their so demanding personalities smack in the middle of mayhem. It kept me guessing all along. This is again an absolutely thrill seeking, keep you guessing on your toes type of drama you just get stuck in. Loved it!(less)

It just keeps getting better and better. Stieg let us get to know Salander even more. This one was filled with ups and downs, and thrills and rides, all over again and again, and again. They threw me for a loop with this story here. You will never ever ever guess what happened and why Salander ticks.
Perfect for a whodunit story to. Follow the trails getting lost in the mists of something real, and suspenseful with small elements of GLBT. (Maybe a little more then expected).
Action packed, and spine tingling, Whoa did that just happened kick ass moves... lol.(less)

I adored Vegas. He is your average bad boy with a "follower" friend. It was told with words befitting for adults that have some kid still in them.My only issue is that it was lacking drama. Overall, it had a nice storyline going for it but it filtered off into something missing. I did like it because of the magic and Vegas but I had no real connection....(less)

The only thing that kept me from throwing it away and reading it further was because of the back stabbing women Amanda, Stephanie and Tiffany. I seen horrible friendships but these girls are toxic to each other. The story just seemed so one dimensional.Everything revolved around this one incident nothing new happened. Tiffany.. gosh, what can I say about her. I believe I disliked her the most. I struggled to finish this story. I just lost total interest in it... (less)

I mean darn, the kids already know what Dexter is. Dexter is still dreamy and very poetic.. and still very, very dark but seems to be missing his passenger this time around. That was awesome. I was able to see Dexter in his not so confident air.. (less)

OMG! I cried from the first chapter until the last page! This story is an awesome read, a tear jerker, dramatic and should be told over and over again. This will give you nightmares, dreams, and goals. How can I say nightmares and dreams in the same sentence?
Alessa is the character that will stick with you until your dying days. It brings tears to my eyes even to write this review. You will not be able to put this book done.
I commend Alessa, she is strong, determined, smart, caring, everything you shouldn't find in a person that has endured everything that she has. And that is what made her more lovable... This book gave me the strength to face everyday with the biggest smile that I can just cause Alessa did.
This was far past just a story, it should be an omen, something everyone should follow (to a certain extent) The author told such a valuable message here.
Oh and this had all the drama that you can think of. The characters were all so believable, and real. In your face raw as hell real! and the cover it went so perfectly well with what's between the pages.
I'm so happy the author gave me a chance to read this story and even still I want to buy the book again.. and again.....
Oh let me add, the ending was superb and something that was so unexpected! I was furious but it bittersweet. (less)

I use to read Clark back in middle school and I see now why I haven't not picked up a book by her in a while
Although the mystery was good, the style of writing to me was just a little under adult almost made this a YA read for me. It was so... plain (if that's the best way I can describe it)
The ending made it worse. I try to figure out who the bad guy is in all the mysteries and in this one there were no clues, hints or anything that I could try and guess it.
And to find out in the end who really did the killing I was like No freaking way.. How was he able to do that and why. I still don't really understand why. ....
This is a I have nothing else to read and I need to read something now!!

I thought Rebekah was comical not evil.. besides her secret life! She cracked me up laughing a few times in this book. Kind of puts me in the mind of Dexter.
The only thing I have to say is that the beginning kind of dragged on, it took a while for us to see her evil side. And I didn't really see how she resembled things of a killer, but a regular unruly teen. (which we all were)
And then the end hmmmmm kind of put me off, It was different, not what I expected of a serial killer but what could you really expect of a killer.
But to the evil, that was nice, i liked the different ideas that she had, she was awesome. the second serial killer that I actually like.
Now I cant wait to read about what else Rebekah has up her sleeve. Im jumping right into the next story. Tommy Lee Sells = Rebekah
Overall, good story, just watch for slow parts in the beginning and the end.

I wasn't sure what to expect out of a book written in perfect poetry.. and this was perfect poetry. the imagery that she created with those words on paper... I was caught up.. I felt like I had meet the monster myself.. But who was the monster really? I know the obvious but there were so many ways her life went wrong! Down the drain!
Its the first time I ever wanted to read poetry.. (sometimes its so hard to understand)
There was so much emotion in this story.. So many pick me up and drop me in ice cold water lines.
This is a YA read that adults can get into and something I think all YA's should read. Let them see what playing with fire really looks like. I saw every bit of Bree's struggle, thrown in my face and it left me no choice but to feel it.
I can't wait to read Glass(I can't believe i just said that)(less)

Again and again he did. He delivered a fast paced keep you on the tip of your toes turning the pages as fast as you can story.
Every single one of the lady doctors in this story captured me and held me in prison locked up in their strengths, heartaches, and abilities. This story was like no other that he wrote before.
With every page you turned there was so much more going on. The drama, the affairs, the lies, the love.... to no end..
I loved those women doctors especially during a time that women were not allowed to be doctors and they succeeded.
The ending I was not expecting. I was so surprised that the strongest one of them all (the one that I thought was the strongest) ended up dead. And to top it off the way she died! I screamed when I got to that part of the story (Ill save it for you to read) She was the least that I expected and that is what made this story different from his others because sometimes Sheldon can be so predictable.
Nothing really does last forever, good or bad. (less)
