Andrew's writing is unique in a way that, readers can easily relate to his work and will get bonded with him from the first page. Since this is a biography, author himself is the protagonist. This book showcases experiences from author’s life, in simple and vivid language. This book keeps its readers hooked till the last page.
The story starts with author describing how he got 'Flunked' in graduation exam at law school or more commonly known as "Flaw school" in some secret circles. Author describes reasons he couldn't make it through the graduation exam, and one of the reason is, "He hated his colleagues", and who wouldn't as some of them "wanted to sue God for blessing America” while others, “wanted to put on a criminal charge on God, for having grace shed on them without their consent". With law school failure seal on forehead, author had nothing better to do than find a job.
Book explains in detail Andrews escapades for getting a job, and finally when he gets one, how he had to struggle to maintain it; being in new country and learning their language are not the only concerns of author...But soon he realizes that teaching is not a job for him, and he calls it quit, or to say it mildly, 'he moves on'.. And thus he ends up in Bangkok. In Bangkok author faces some situation I wouldn't even dare to imagine myself in. Later in the book with no money left, Andrew becomes nothing more than a street wanderer who has no residence or any means of support... it is to be seen who will save him?
This book is extremely funny. There is use of some foul language but it's never been used excessively. I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to any adult looking for bit of entertainment. At the end of the day I just thank the Gods; for not putting me in situations that author faced. Brilliantly paced and ridiculously humorous this book scores 4 of 5 stares.(less)

Author Miles, with his decade worth of working and exploring experience has brought forth a book that’s about to answer Your questions.
Why Leadership Sucks, as the name suggests it’s a book on Leadership and life of leaders and thus is The fodder for all wannabee, newbie and truly Leaders.
Book goes on to explain, and prepare you to face general Hatred, Betrayal and Risks that every leader experiences, and then elaborates why to do it anyway! Because when it’s right thing to do, then it is right thing to do.
Book is filled with lots of compact chapters that have much more to deliver then they have words, and that’s why it’s one of The best book I read on leadership. There are lot of hands on tips that will make you more of a person to whom others what to follow (in essence a leader :)
The book ends with a great point that summarizes, why struggle is important in succeeding. In short without struggle, we have tendency to crumble under the stress and pressure. We all have a role to play, no one can play it for us, but some (like Miles) can surely make it much easier to be in the game.
The language used, is easy to understand and follow. The advice is easily acceptable. Miles description of various topics is expressed in his down to earth yet authoritative manner. Even the critical part of me is happy to have picked up this book. Thus a deserving candidate for 5 of 5 points.(less)

This time, Kathy decided to do a genre swing for her 24th book. "After Midnight" is a suspense novel, first in the series of three (Denver after Dark). As the book contains explicit sexual scenes, it is recommended for adults only.
The story starts on Colfax Street when a normal police errand turns into a bloody night. Sam Morgan is fallen on ground, with two shot wounds, one on chest and another one on shoulder. Little farther is his pal Larry Resnick dead in cold blood with a single bullet embedded into his throat. The attacker has been shot dead by news reporter, Brian. & only one person could have the answers for what was happening, Kate.
While picking up this book, I was expecting it to be an interesting suspense novel. However, not only did it live up to my expectations but inclusion of some steaming romantic scenes were a positive surprise.(which I think is to be expected from Kathy).
The writing style of Kathy is flawless, an essential prerequisite in a good suspense novel.I personally liked this book for several reasons like good story line, clever inclusion of great twists all the while etc. The book is thoroughly and well edited, something that newer eBooks lack these days.
On concluding notes I can say that it’s a good book if you are looking for suspense-cum-romance novel, and it deserves 4 out of 5 points. :) (less)

The author of the book, Susan Siravo has personal experience in the field, as she has worked as a television journalist and also has produced various educational and corporate videos. In the book Susan emphasizes the importance of Body Language and gives lots of tips which she learned while acting as a media relations officer for both public and private sector organizations.
This book is for every newbie, with no experience in front of the camera and yet who want to create interesting videos, because this book not only will teach you to create simple and effective messages but it will also help you to understand how to convey these messages to intended audiences.
Now, Few lines which caught my eyes, “One of the most important reasons to develop your personal brand is to be able to set yourself apart and video can help you do that.” Words of an expert.
“Whether we like it or not we are impacted by what we see and hear on video” again true.
And one of my favorite one: “as technology moves forward, some of us are a little resistant to move with it. That can be okay for a period of time, but if it continues, you’re at risk of being seen as.....” go figure this out while reading the book :)
Although author says that, “This book does not cover every aspect of video production, but it does provide some basics that I believe are important for people who want to use video in their education and marketing efforts.” but imho, it’s way more than just basics.
The book is divided into 10 really useful chapters, book starts with showing (yeah, literally showing) how much video messages are important. And from there on the book discusses various points from, “Right equipment hunting” to “How to be (what you want to be) in front of the camera”. Few cool tips on making your own scripts are like icing on cake.
The language used in book is easy to follow and there are various active links in the book which i think are most useful to get better understanding of the subject matter.
But it’s not the perfect book, it has one major downside to it and that is.. It’s so small. I wanted more of it. :D So on Concluding notes it’s a perfect little book for video enthusiast and it deserves 5 out of 5 points, but I am gonna give it 4 of 5(just a precaution.. :)(less)

This book is a authored by Thornne Xaiviannt and Aija M. Butler together. Aija is a lifelong student and working towards having Dr. before her name, whereas Thornne who began writing at the age of 6 has passion for writing as sharp as his martial arts.
As far as genre goes this book strictly falls under romance novels section and with it's adult contents, it's for mature readers only.
The book starts off with John and his first ever mission as Elite Force commander. He and his team is suppose to find the proofs of 600 individuals who are being held captive by some international arms n drugs dealer. Everything was going perfect until John stumbles upon an hurt angel. Her name is Nikki who later in story becomes johns life partner.
The plot offers a sneak peak into the personal life of a soldier. Action is what started the book but that doesn't mean the book is all about guns and mussels, Apart from that there are also some steaming hot couple scenes between our main characters of the story. Ending of the book is where book two starts, and as the main mystery is still to unfold there are lot's of chances to open up the story.
Judging by the name, cover and size of the book i had guessed it would be all action junkie stuff, which is not at all the case. The book has various aspects to it action, Romance, Family, Faith and betrayal being few of them.
The Language used in the book is very easy to follow and understand. Although the critical part of me does want to inform you all that story does seems to be jumping about, some might call it Fast paced story but i guess it was a bit too fast for my liking.
So on Concluding notes I would like to say that, It's an okay book and it does deserve 3 out of 5 points. for everything.(less)

While his writing was good and easy read, but I suppose the intended reader group is grown-ups and which just makes instance in the story that much deep and considerate.
Book got its name from its main character Rusty Barker, who works as a custodian at Johnson High and the incident between Rusty and how he end up at Junior High Prom. Brett Conway one of the students at Johnson high, is falling for a junior, Allie Fokel and wanted to ask her out to Prom but couldn’t. With a bit (a lot) help from Mr. Rusty Conway asks Allie for prom.
The things to look forward to include, How Rusty without his own wishes end up at Prom as chaperone and make sure none of the kids are making out.. :). Also Mr. Hammond (the assistant principal) is also an interesting person in the story who liked to talk in circles.
The usual problem with short stories is that, we as readers couldn’t get connected to the characters. But that certainly is not the case with this book. Although it’s a very small book, but it has little jokes planted throughout the story. The part that I loved the most of this book is the Dialogue between Valerie Bald (yet another character) and Mr. Rusty. This particular dialogue touched my heart and I don’t think that I am ever going to forget about what it meant.
This book delivered much more than I paid for it, so I want to thank the author for a good story but at the same time I also wish, for a sequel for the same.
Now that we’ve been through all the good things the Critical part of me want to give a shout to author about some jumpy dialogues and books ending... (This is more of a reason I want this book to have sequel).
On concluding notes I can say that, it’s a good bedtime story for grown-ups or at least that’s what author thinks :) but seriously, I am just glad that I read it. This book is an average read so it get’s 3 out of 5 points but the dialogue I talked about earlier, get’s 5 out of 5 and that alone makes this book well worth.(less)

Sansevieri is a Founder and CEO of Author Marketing Experts(AME) Inc., She is the author of five books and has been recognized as best-selling author. Book is named "Get Published Today, An insider's guide to publishing success." and that's exactly what author is doing in this book. This book is for all those who ever considered to have his/her book published someday.
Book start's of with little overview of Publishing itself and what better line than Don Marquis would have described it better, "Publishing a volume of verse is like dropping a rose petal down the Grand Canyon and waiting for the echo."
Looking broadly the book is divided into 3 Major parts. First part describes Publishing and everything you ever wanted to know about publishing is in here, this part covers topics from knowing publishing and Best time to publish to a checklist for authors who wanna follow Self-publishing path. The Second part of the book is about making your book market ready like, determining Who's your Market.. and how to get best suited Name and cover etc.. and in the third part book talks about Marketing and how to get your book in the hands of prospective buyer. There are lot's of tips which will come in handy when you are taking your first steps in publishing industry as an author.
This book is like none other i read, I mean the way Penny describes various publishing issues and their solution is not only simple to understand but is easy to implement too. I was expecting to get general idea about how books get published, but what i got in this book is well beyond that and now after reading this book i am a total fan of Penny. The written language is very easy to follow and friendly so that you never feel you are learning something new.
On Concluding notes I can only say that this is "The best book" for newbie authors. This book deserves 5 out of 5 points for it's simplicity and effectiveness. No More Rejections!!(less)

Author of the book Hemant Gupta is a business student and have been serving major corporations for past twenty years. The genre and reader group this book falls under is for anyone who ever wanted to know more about himself.
As this is the second book from the “Informational Nature of Being” series one might want to take a look at the first book, “Road to digital divine” which is all about Computational nature of our mind and all the matter there is in universe.
At core this book want to offer solution to an age old question of How to be happy without others influence i.e obtaining true Joy which is not dependent on anyone else. There are lot of things to look forward to in this book, like getting to know your own senses which confirm that we are separate from the rest of the beings, and yet, how the connectedness at the quantum level defies this description of reality. Book also tries to answer, how knowing our true nature make a difference in our state.
Book ends with explaining what is Enlightenment and what is The Ultimate Truth. and how after knowing this ultimate truth, doubt, pain and suffering fade away and what remains is peace harmony and joy(from deep within)
When i took this book in hands for the first time, i was anticipating it to be informative in a sense that it will provide me insight, for knowing my self and broadening my views about universe itself, and to my surprise this book not only delivered my anticipations but it surpassed them with great volume. The language used in the book is easy to understand if you are bit technical but that too is not at all necessary; on the other hand an aptitude/thirst to know more about everything is very essential. Although the critical part of me want to say that there were issues with Kindle edition i had, but that can be ignored as they were not grammatical or spell based issues just formatting, Which can be fixed pretty easily.
On Concluding notes, this book is real gem, as it shows a mans journey to find the ultimate truth about himself and the universe as whole, without sacrificing science and thus with it’s contents and message author wanna convey, it sure deserves 4.5 out of 5 points. Loved it (but may not be for everyone so do check out sample chapter). (less)

It is a Adventure based fantasy novel and can be read by wide range of audience including, children and teens. A very interesting thing that I really liked and which you wouldn’t notice unless you reach the end of this novel (or read my review of-course), is that author actually put in a character with his(author's) real name. I really liked this idea.
When I picked up this book for reading, I was just considering it to be an okay kind of read, but I was wrong, because it was an awesome read! It’s been a long time, since I enjoyed an Adventure fantasy novel this much.
The most beautiful thing about this book(and I think you will agree to it too) is its plot, and I am simply in love with it. While ending of the book is satisfying one but it does make you want to read more and know more about the characters and what happened to them afterwards.
“It was Matthew who discovered the black hardcover up in the attic.” and set’s the readers on a journey to experience some days of regular teenage life drama while others are filled with Action and Adventure and mystery and black shapes. The book has a decent plot with lots to learn as you read along (including history). There are even time travels to save the lives of the one’s that were mistakenly put into danger.
Although the book started a bit sharp to my usual liking, taking me head first into the story. But soon it corrected its pace and rest is a beautifully written novel. The language used is easy to understand and follow along, the historic events and peoples are thoroughly researched and expressed.
There were some instances where, it was hard to follow who was saying what (well it happens to me all the time, even HON series has its issues for me. So it might just be me.)
On concluding notes this book taught me a wonderful message for a lifetime and that is, “Genuine friendship only falls into place, It is never planned.” and teenagers still have issues... :) I am really glad that I read this novel and looking forward to read its sequels. This book deserves 5 out of 5 but as it goes with everything it had its downsides so I’ll give it 4 points.(less)

Author’s writing is exceptional, which makes every transition in story seems more than real. The story is gripping and incredibly detailed, there are few historical references character references, which makes story even more appealing.
Supposedly, the last descendent of Bellomo family, is a seventeen year "Anthony Bellomo" or more commonly known as Tony. Anthony is a Computer Genius, a born hacker for whom programming is as easy as breathing. He becomes a top notch games programmer and is a part of one of the hottest teams in the video games industry. But on one fine day Anthony's whole world collapses, he's facing burnout! He starts asking himself what he is doing, with life, with genius-ness bestowed upon him and when he couldn't decide the answer he quits his job and decides to visit Sicily and explore his family roots, as it was his father’s wish before he died.
Once in Sicily, first place Anthony visits is Bellomo palace, Ortigia. But as it happens it was turned into a museum, and there wasn't even a single portrait of any Bellomo ancestor. Too disappointed and hungry, Anthony tries to figure out way to his hotel, and that's when he sees, Circolo di Conversazione : Circle of Conversation. Natural curiosity and born instincts make Anthony to check it out. But once inside he sees things that he shouldn't have. There were peoples, lot's of them.. waiting.. and preparing for the Judgement Day, and when he tries to get out of there, he couldn’t he was locked in… and thus the story starts!
"Forget the past" has a very unique plot, which keep its readers hooked and wanting for more. There are comprehensive and complete subplots each with a key character, which describe their life before coming to "Circolo di Conversazione". Though this book is really attentive to various characters, but it fails to get its readers to connect with protagonist of the story Anthony, a bit more information about him would have helped a lot to get bonded with him.
So on concluding notes i would say it's a great read, and I am really glad that it has a sequel to it, as it is the first book from "The Fear of the Past Trilogy". And I am really looking forward to reading remaining two books, but for the time being this book scores 4 of 5. (less)

If yes, then Joseph Richardson's "Fire Angels" is the book for you. In his debut novel Joseph, who himself is a former Army veteran of the Korean War did spectacular job of portraying the time period of 1920's and WWI. The book has lot of substantial issues to disclose to its readers.
Fire Angels is a Historical fiction which will take its readers on a journey, back in time in 1917. It is a story from a small rural town 'walako' in Florida. The story begins just before America’s declaration to fight against Germany in WWI. Story evolves around main character David Cooper and his wife Sara. How David had to leave Sara and his new born baby, to fight for his nation. How Sara struggles through her life while waiting for her husband David to come home, back from war.
Readers will see devastation of war, like friends dying; through the eyes of David cooper. Some of this story is conveyed with letters conversed. Book also gives special emphasis on changes in society, how war changes people and their thinking. How war increase prejudice and hatred within peoples. This book is every bit engaging and fascinating as any highly acclaimed piece of literature. Book further explores how black peoples suffered social injustice, and how some peoples who claim to be patriot or some sort of war heroes, with intention of their personal gain. Now David not only has his own prejudice to fight but he also must battle political corruption in his town.
"Fire Angels" is a gripping story; it will absorb you into the era long lost and will show you true meaning of War. The writing style of Joseph Richardson will occupy his readers mind into the story right from first page. Book is well paced and will definitely keep you hooked for hours. The title "Fire Angels" is justifiable and its reason is revealed at almost end of the book. There were some formatting issues with eBook copy, but were easily ignorable and they could have been isolated issues.
This book not just has a great plot but the execution of the plot is also great which made it one of the best books I ever read. There is great bit of detailing of the old days, for example I learned to start a war aircraft, isn't that cool? This book is a deserving candidate for 5 out of 5 stars.(less)

Can you still recall that first time you ever voiced your feelings..? Or the feel when you are in relationship which is much more than friendship..? That fluttering of heart, uncertainty, anticipation, curiosity, and Fun is at the core of William O. Wing's fanciful romantic comedy novel, "...So There". This book is author’s biography; book is filled with authors rich memories coupled with his imagination which make this one of the best and most interesting story.
As the main protagonist as well as the story's narrator "William O." is just Eleven years old kid, he uses lot's of "kidspeak" and to understand it you will have to read "Kid's Dictionary", which is written at the beginning of the book. The best example would be, "Best … Better … Much Better … Far Better … Bestest." and you can use it like this, “When it came to smooching, Sonja was best, but Kathy was better, Brighty was much better, Bebe was far better, however, Carmen was the bestest smoocher in the universe"
"In everyone’s life there shall be a moment or two when time stands still and we see our lives move in slow motion for just a fraction of a second, and this telling moment may be good or bad … but it will be one that we shall never forget", and this is exactly what happened with William O, when he first met "Carmen Maria". Carmen is a new girl on the block, and when William sees her for the first time, he falls his head over hills for her. They soon become friends then family friends and before they know it they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Book covers various aspects of daily life of protagonists like their visits to Quacker Park, wills dinner at Carmen’s house, all the while they get to know each other. There's Dance, Will’s sleepover and then there’s Football match.
This story is about two 11 year olds, facing various adventures of their lifetime at the same time, they are going through soon-to-be-teens syndrome, which makes them attract towards each other. Some dialogues might sound too much forward for a eleven years kid, but if you ignore that, then this book is filled with lots of Fun rides. This book falls under the category of, "it's the journey, not the destination" books, which means it’s not like mystery novel where you solve the case and done it’s about how the life was lived. Through this book author gives message to Living lives to the fullest, which is what life is all about. Being happy, healthy and head over heels in love with the person that you plan to spend the rest of your life with … It’s called true love. And what can be better than this.
On concluding notes, I would like to share that, I really enjoyed reading this book. Reading this book was a fun filled experience. With definite character set and fluid writing style this book scores 4 out of 5.(less)
