Low point is its not that suspenseful (maybe because i got used to james patterson's writing style making some parts predictable).
although, i believe the ending is powerless. simply because the real C**spoiler alert** astonishing, groovy stratagem... countless, astounding twists.
although, i believe the ending is powerless. simply because the real CASSANOVA, nick ruskin is not outstanding in the story. he is not worth remembering. if only, CASSANOVA the KILLER will be the dean of the duke university, any distinct cop such as kyle, or even the doctor who last treated kate... i'l vouch it will be much striking=)
but since, i am not the author to dictate or alter the ending of the story. i will still suggest this book to all james patterson's followers--- it is thrilling, from first to last page. though, dont expect much on the ending! it had failed me.. it was almost perfect though...=(
til now i still dont get it, why did CASSANOVA just gun stun cross, why not shoot him and see him die?
it seems that he went to cross' house not for comeback but for him to breathe for the last time...
chapters 1-122 are incredible but the last chapter (123) is disappointing... haha.. ...more

I REALLY LIKE THis (big time). especially, when Harry bosch tries to connect the "reynard waits" thing to a "FOX" that waits... derived from fictional literary novels. i just come to think "why do the killer need to link his screen name to some fictional character hahaha".
the plot was put to higher notch when the suspect Reynard Waits escaped from the cops during their visit on the place where gesto was buried. as Usual, the cops appeared to be stupid once more. haha
other scenes were superb and thrilling too, reading this book is worthwhile...
i assure you guys "Echo park" develops many twists and turns, there are a lot of conflicts and remarkable scenes...
i had read this book for almost a year ago... i was truly hooked by this book because it is quite similar to hardy boys series (im an avid fan). The s i had read this book for almost a year ago... i was truly hooked by this book because it is quite similar to hardy boys series (im an avid fan). The story revolves on the crime involving Peter's dead body washes up on the beach. Jack Mullen, an intelligent and diligent law student, brother of peter is so determined to find out the truth behind peter's sudden death. Jack starts investigating and to help him is a group of his old friends. The police, though, refuse to consider Peter’s death anything other than an accident or suicide. But Jack and his allies know this to be utter falsehood.
I must say, the "Beach House" characteristically has so many unexpected plot twists- and mind you some were really misleading. AND IT IS REALLY AMAZING HOW JACK SOLVE THE ENTIRE THING! James Paterson has consistently entertained me from the first to last page of the book.
THUMBS UP! the "BEACH HOUSE" is worth RE-READING... =)...more
