When I started reading it I thought this would be my next The Sea of Tranquility. I really wanted to fall in love with this book just like so many of my friends did. Unfortunately, I'm sad to say that I was a little disappointed. I'm not saying that this book was bad, because it wasn't. It was nicely written, had a nice pace and charming characters (especially Micha), but there was a certain lack of energy to it. This book didn't blow me away, but it held my interest long enough to finish it....more

She drove me crazy and it took way too long to get any sexy-action-time. My ex-favorite-dirty-talker, Nathan, became boring and romantic and he has guilt issues of his own. Over and over and over and over again... Bla-bla-bla... Yadda-yadda-yadda...
All in all, I devoured the first book because of all the dirty talking and their explosive sexual relationship. I expected so much more from this book, but...this was something different. Where went my alpha male that I fell for in the first book? Where is their connection and passion? All that sexual chemistry? This whole book looks like some kind of therapy session and don´t take me wrong, but that is not my cup of tea. I'm not hating or anything, I'm actually sad because this wasn't what I expected.
I hope that third book, Reciprocity, will be better.

I'll admit, this falls outside my usual reading genre, but I decided to give Tangled a shot. And... it was worth of my time. It´s enjoyable and hilarious with raw guy's perspective. You really can't get much better than this, in this genre.
Tangled is written in Drew's (male) POV and while this is something new to me in my reading endeavors it was interesting to read. It was enlightening to see how the male mind works to say the least.
Would I recommend this book? Yes! This is a must read! I laughed, I cried, I got angry and then I laughed some more. If you are a fan of Wallbanger, you will love this book. If you’re looking for something light to read, this is your book. Tangled was a quick, fun read. It wasn’t complex or particularly deep, but it was extremely entertaining.
RECIPE: 1 cup of Stockholm Syndrome 1 innocent girl who was sexually abused as a child 1 sadistic truck driver/priest with troubled past 1 overly protective psiho/schizophrenic mother 1 truck and miles and miles of dirty road 1 dream of Niagara Falls Add the cruel reality and few cups of bad and selfish people. Blend it all together and read it for about 3-4 hours and you´ll get this awesomeness.
Wanderlust is the dark, frightening story of a naive young woman, kidnapped and held against her will by damaged man who seeks revenge to society. This is a story of survival. It describes two people that have managed to survive injustice and sexual abuse and they still maintained their humanity and a will to escape their circumstances. They are both fighters and they still have a capacity for feeling and emotion, perhaps even love. They still have hope in a better tomorrow.
This book scared me. It´s threatening, challenging and controversial. I loved Wanderlust because there was something so hauntingly beautiful about this book that captured my attention from the first chapter. I especially liked quotes in the beginning of each chapter from Evie´s book about Niagara Falls.
Ms Skye Warren deserves an applause, so I clap for her!
This definitely will not be the last book I will read of Skye Warren.
Warning: This book is not for the faint-hearted readers. If you are not 18 or above or if you simply cannot take tear-jerking books, do not read it....more

This is truly an EPIC love and war story with unique characters that are tragic, sad, scary, annoying but most of all lovable. Some parts had me crying and some had me mad. Even though Alexander´s and Tatiana´s story might be great, it´s few hundred pages too long for my taste.

You know it will make you sad and leave you heartbroken, but you can´t stop even if it hurts. We, masochistic readers, we know it, we understand it... and still, we do it. All we can do is suffer the pain, and tell ourselves it was well worth it. Sad things can be beautiful. That´s exactly what Autumn said and noone understood her. Well, Autumn and Ms Nowlin, we understand you and we appreciate the pain. It was well worth it...
Well, there was one weird girl...
...and she fell in love with her best friend but she didn't notice him like that.
...And than there was one big misunderstanding and they grew apart. They grew apart for four long years even though they saw each other on a daily basis.
“I've loved him my whole life, and somewhere along the way, that love didn't change but grew. It grew to fill the parts of me that I did not have when I was a child. It grew with every new longing of my body and desire until there was not a piece of me that did not love him. And when I look at him, there is no other feeling in me.”
...And just when life finally brought them together, this star-crossed lovers were separated by cruel fate.
I can see some of the roses still blooming in my mother´s garden. Brown on the edges and bright in other colors, their petals drooping downward, dying just as their lives have begun. They stayed past their time, and I´ve realized that I have too.
Do you want to know how they were separated? Just read this book! I promise you, you won't regret it! ...more

MAIN CHARACCrash into you is a wonderfully written, intense and emotional story. It´s fun, amazing, full of intriguing characters, action and romance.
MAIN CHARACTERS Isaiah is one of my favorite bad boys ever and this book is written in his POV. He's got a badass look with all those tatoos and piercings, but the kindest heart and most gentle and sensitive soul. His mother went to prison when he was very young and he's been shifted from foster home to foster home, sometimes having to deal with physical abuse. Having had a difficult childhood in the foster care system, he's developed a rough edge, the wall around him, and he lets so few people into his life, but inside he´s the sweetest boy ever...
Rachel is innocent and naive car obsessed girl. She goes in a private school, she´s a straight-A student, goody two shues, at least until she decides to drag race herself into trouble. She has some mental issues and severe panic attacks, and speed and racing are her way of coping for beeing a substitute for a dead sister her whole life. She lives in a house with four overprotective brothers (a.k.a. pains in the ass) who also expect her to be the one who will make their mother be happy again. She is kind of victim because she sacrifices her mental health to make her family happy. Unlike Beth, Rachel is likeable in an effortless sort of way.
STORYLINE And so, the story goes on...Isaiah meets Rachel at the most unlikely place to find a rich good girl: the back street car racing. They share the same passion for cars and though they are opposite in every way, they become instantly connected. Soon they have a street racing thug after them for money. In order to get these guys off Rachel's back, they have to work closely together for some time... In comparison with Ryan and Beth´s relationship, this one is drama free and so much better.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS I adored the secondary characters! Abby and Logan were a great addition. Abby was so sweet and kind and I felt so bad for her because of her situation. And Logan? You must love this sweet adrenaline junkie. I would like to read their story. Rachel's brothers and her parents dictated her entire life, so they are not one of my favorites here. We get longer and more significant glimpses at Noah and Echo, and Beth also makes a few appearances.
MY THOUGHTS ON THE BOOK I’ve been a huge fan of Katie McGarry since Pushing the Limits and I’ve been anxiously awaiting Isaiah’s story. While Crash Into You wasn’t my favorite of the three it was still a compelling read. Isaiah and Rachel´s relationship reminds me a lot on Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. I can’t possibly recommend this book enough!
