This quote was on my mind the whole time I read this novella so I just had to write it down.
Let´s see. First I just have to say that I didn't have high expectations for this series, and boy was I wrong. My apologies to the authors and all the fans.
This is 1,5 novella in the Addicted series by Krista and Becca Ritchie and it takes place immediately after the end of Addicted to You (Book 1) and ends just prior to the start of Addicted for Now (Book 2). Lily and Lo, our favorite addicts, are being separated for 3 months. While Lo is in rehab, she is trying to cope with her own addiction and is trying to reconnect with her family. It's a difficult read about a sex and an alcohol addiction, but the bond between Lily and Lo is pretty awesome. They both are exhausted and they are feeling lost by their loved one's addiction struggles. This book (novella) provides a rare look into the manic mind of a struggling addict. I could feel their emotions almost to a point where I felt love for the addict. Their struggles and emotions are so gripping. I've never experienced an addiction like in this series. One of the things I like the most about this book though were Lily's flashbacks of her and Lo. You get more insight of their relationship and how it was back then when they were younger and it's just so interesting and sweet. They were in love for so long and they didn´t even know that.
To cut a long story short: -original storyline -great writing style -wonderful set of characters (especially Rose and Connor Cobalt, Ryke & Daisy were a bit annoying to me).
These books are just addicting...just as the title/series says.

Unexpected things are those that change our lifes, and if I had to choose one word to describe this book it would be UNEXPECTED.
Books that are out of the ordinary have their own special appeal and this book I consider the unusual, the bizarre, and the new.
Firstly I hated the main female character , pretentious Layana. She was so much like Olivia from The Opportunistor Amy in second part of book Gone Girl. She is rich and spoiled, rotten cheater and you tell me, what a female character is allowed to get away with behaviour that? Well, this girl can get away with this! Why? I don´t want to tell you because i want that you all read this book. She is a main female characters who exhibits great resilience and courage. And I loved it!
Brant? Brant Sharp is a self-made billionaire, a true genius, and major philanthropist that just also happens to be gorgeous. A classical too good to be true male character. And...he has a big dark secret. And there comes Lee, our tortured hero. And then we have one wicked aunt/bitch Jilian.
Secrets, cheating and love triangle. You think you heard it all. Boy you are so wrong!
Alexandra Torre is obviously an evil genius when it comes to dropping small hints that aren’t really hints and making you HOPE for things you shouldn’t hope for. She is an excellent author. My point is that Black Lies is a total masterpiece. You think you know, but you have no idea until you read it.

Well, well, well...What have I just read? I butterflying love my girl Glass who recommended this book to me and I love Collleen Hoover and I love this book and Ridge and Warren and everything in between...
"I just punched a girl in the face. Not just any girl. My best friend. My roommate"
I generaly don´t like the books about cheating, but this book was something different. This book is beautiful representation of love, devotion and loyalty and all the pitfalls that can happen in your life. Colleen Hoover has such a unique writing style and I absolutely love reading her stories. They include romance and humor and some very quirky characters! The secondary characters were equally as complex and amazing. Each of them brought something special to this book. What makes Maybe Someday especially special and different is the soundtrack that goes along with it. Being able to listen to Griffin Peterson sing the amazing songs that go with the story brought the characters and the story to life.
This book ruined all other books for me. It shattered my heart into pieces and then filled it up so much I felt like it was going to burst. I had such an emotional reaction to this book that I couldn´t start another one until I worked through the emotions this book brought out in me.
This is one that is on the MUST read shelf for anyone who wants to giggle, snort, cry and grin the silliest of grins for a long time after finishing the book.
“There are only twenty-six letters in the English alphabet. You would think there would only be so much you could do with twenty-six letters. You would think there were only so many ways those letters could make you feel when mixed up and shoved together to make words. However, there are infinite ways those twenty-six letters can make a person feel, and this song is living proof. I’ll never understand how a few simple words strung together can change a person, but this song, these words, are completely changing me. I feel like my maybe someday just became my right now.”
Colleen has somehow used these 26 letters to make me live, breathe, and truly feel the emotions in this story and I´m thankful her for that.

It started when she received a leather-bound copy of Othello for her twelfth birthday and ended when her English teacher showed her exactly what was meant by the beast with two backs."
I don't have any idea on how to rate this book. I don´t even know what to think about it! That´s how confused I am right now. This book is too toxic, too dark, too twisted, too shocking, too depresing...simply too fucked-up. It´s definitely too much for me.
I hated main characters. They are almost despicable! Sarah Clark, as a 14 year old child, was a victim of abuse by her 24 years older English teacher and she liked it (because of a lack of parental warmth). Later, she had a sick sexual affair with him until he left her because of his family. As sweet sixteen she was raped and her family turned their backs to her. Her only "safe harbour" was her BFF Jamie, and she ruined him too... As a young woman (21) she is beautiful and smart, but she is also self-destructive sex-addict, she´s sad, broken and miserable... Mr Daniel Carr, her English teacher, is a manipulating, cruel, psyhotic bastard and sadistic pedophile... In my opinion, there is NO excuse for a man in Mr Carr´s position taking advantage of a girl who thinks she´s more grown up than she is. A teacher having sex with an under-age student is wrong in all kinds of ways, and nothing makes it right.
Who is The Beast in this book? They both are. And the beast could not be tamed...
Should you read this book? Frankly, I don´t know...
P.S. I'm surprised that noone of the characters in this book contracted STDs....more
