Valerie Williams is a teenage socialite who seems to have it all. Designer clothes, a cute jock boyfriend, popularity and all the perks that come with it. She receives an allowance and is never short on funds to get the most expensive and current fashion forward clothes. While planning to buy her prom dress her mother drops a bomb on her life... no more allowance... she has to get a job. So she does what every teenager would do in her position... has a complete hissy fit! Does not help her though, the next day she is forced to go to work with her mom.
She has no idea her mom is a tooth fairy and she is going to love her job. We follow Valerie on her journey through her new job and while she discovers just how shallow she has been. While I was frustrated with her mistakes I cheered her on to make better decisions and deal with her problems.
Recommended for older teens and adults, this would be a great book to read with the teen in your life and give you opportunities to talk about the issues Valerie goes through and how she handles them. Rating - 4 Stars...more

I mean wow what a cast of hunky men! I really enjoy books based on the fae and this one did not disappoint. Rayla was a likable heroine and I loved the twists and turns her love life takes. I do enjoy a good love triangle or square but sometimes they can be over done and annoying. But I really enjoyed this one and it kind of sneaks up on you. I am really looking forward to the next one.
Ms Rich's debut novel is a winner and I am a fan!
Now the pics!
Ok let's get Rayla out of the way...
Now let's go for Mr. Tall dark and extremely sexy Zach, I am a total sucker for the black hair blue eyes...
The extremely dark Jett...I couldn't decide between these two so you get both because one can never have to many pictures of half naked guys ;-)
Taylor the hot latin lover...
Finn... the fabulous Celtic dream, let's face it there is NEVER anything wrong with a man in a kilt!
And lastly but certainly not least is Luke the blond god! Now I know what you are thinking "That's Nic's favorite cause there are so many" but it's simply not true. For me the jury is still out on Luke BUT I just always get carried away pulling pics of Alex Pettyfer.... how can you not?

“Ashlyn McVean doesn't believe in fairy tales. That is, until Ashlyn is thrown into the crosshairs of grudges her grandmother created long ago. After finding out she is one of two people able to cross between faerie realms, Ashlyn is faced with trying to understand her abilities, along with navigating a new relationship with her boyfriend, Liam. As if being on a centuries old hit list and dealing with crazed pixies isn't enough, her new abilities mean trouble for Liam. Knowing her new life puts everyone she loves in danger, Ashlyn must decide what's most important in her life between friends, family, love, and ultimately, realms”
Unreal, I have found so many wonderful books on Read 2 review that I can’t seem to stop requesting them! This one was no exception, Megan Curd is another Independent author with an Amazing talent and Bridger is a complete gem.
Ashlyn McVean is an amazing female heroine that we can safely let our sons and daughters admire. From the first chapter I was hooked, done for, and a fan. Immediately buy this one and get ready for an incredible journey with the fierce family of McVean’s through Irish folklore and young love.
As always thank you to the brave author for offering her work up for review and to the Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy Fanatics! Group on goodreads!

Anyway.... I freaking loved this book it was AH-MAZE-ING. This series has been a real challenge for me the 1st book and maybe a couple of books in the middle were very difficult for me to get through, I didn't love them and I almost gave up.
Actually if it were not for my goodreads friends coaching me through I would have. But I am so Glad I didn't!!! Because Pale Demon rocked the house and set the roof on fire and all that jazz. Short and sweet review….
Read the series it’s worth it to get to this book!

I enjoyed this book, it was a quick read, entertaining and had a couple great romances going on at once. I didn't find it hard to read with POV and timeline switching around but I did find that it ended rather abruptly and that's why it is getting 3 instead 4 stars. I wish the rating system allowed halves because I feel that it deserves more than 3 but not 4. I would absolutely read another one if this became a series and I will be watching this author for more books. But for the price you can't beat it! ...more

Half way through I was enjoying it, but then itI know allot of people loved this book...don't kill me but... eh, I really didn't like this book much. Half way through I was enjoying it, but then it just fell flat for me. It was quite hard to finish. I just keep hearing the same inner debate from Meghan and thought she needed to stop thinking about what she should do and just F***ing do it! I mean really how many times are you just going to stand there and let something happen to you without catching on that you should move the H*LL out of that ugly thing coming after you? ARRRGGGGG! And honestly Labyrinth was one of my favorite movies growing up and I can still quote the entire movie from start to finish, so while I can respect that it may have some influence on the author that comes out subliminally... this was just a little to close to the movie for me.
I respect everyone of my friends that loved this book, gods know I have a few that most people don't like, but it wasn't for me. That being said I will still read the next one after the cliff hanger and you never know... I hated the first Rachel Morgan Hollows book but you guys made me read it and said "don't give up on it just yet" and I like the series now!...more
